On Tuesdays, karaoke gets lit. Love it. My complain is that it's so hard to get up on stage. I appreciate the way new comers get cycled into the queu, but that's usually it. I believe the filler songs are not necessary as there are plenty of singers ready to sing and its my belief, as well as my peers at karaoke, that time would be better spent continuing with the queue of singers that are ready and willing to sing and perform with out filler songs. please take our suggestion into consideration. we love karaoke On Tuesdays. read more

Entered the establishment with some hope was met with some resistance. The staff was not attentive at all! A large group went in after me and they catered to them but not my small group. It is clear they are all about the $$$. Perhaps some further training should be provided. Couldn't help feeling a certain race was given treatment prior to us. Unfortunate. Tons of potential here. Never got to try the food as service never came our way. Very small damce floor if your wondering. The Bar back could not even tell me what his favorite dish was. Was excited to try a new place on vacation but when we tried to go in during open hours we were rudely greeted by a strange man with no indication that he even worked there mumbling "not tonight". When my partner tried to confirm if he meant they weren't serving food tonight he again just mumbled "not tonight". We left feeling extremely confused and uncomfortable. While we tried to figure out what to do next that man and another man inside the restaurant just stared at us through the front doors. Overall I'm not sure what the issue was but I would suggest customer service training for the staff who great customers. STAY AWAY!!! I bought a red bulk and vodka with a few other drinks and paid. When my sister drank her mixed drink found that it didn't have any vodka so she went and asked. The bartender attempted to look for the check but gave up. So I went up and asked and she said she put alcohol. So I asked for another shot. It was $8 something. I gave her $9. She didn't give me change so I asked for it and she took it out of her tip jar. We go outside and a bouncer says we're too drunk and need to leave. Bourbon & Boots just opened and has already impressed me. In all the cities I have lived in, I have never been in a bar with such a nice crowd and such good dancing! (I hear TX is a force to reckon with but I have never lived there). The staff was top notch and always friendly. The customers were so delightful and willing to swap dance partners or share moves. The bar is beautiful, small and intimate. Come early because they do reach capacity quick! I am not sure how often they will have music but during opening weekend night they had awesome live music. Horrible wanna be country bar. Manager and workers are shady and drama. Good way to ruin your night out. First of all the vibe in there was just sad. I got a vodka and red bull and it just tasted like Red Bull, no vodka so I let the bar tender know. She said " are you asking me to buy another shot" I told her I really just wanted to check the receipt to make sure my sister ordered me the right thing. It was loud so miscommunications can happen. But she looked and told me she couldn't find anything with that last name. She told me she had 300 tickets so she couldn't find my Red Bull order. And there was only like 10 people in the bar. She kinda gave me attitude and obviously didn't want to find it. Maybe 4-5 people ordered after me and she's the only bar t. She also just has a security guard next to her at all times ready to pounce which I did realize was weird to start. Anyways, My sister buys me a vodka shot to put in my Red Bull. The bar t didn't even give her her change. My sister had to ask for her change and the bar t took it out of her tip jar. So we go outside and the bar tender complained about us saying "we're too intoxicated" " she's not comfortable". Literally just hanging out. It was literally my first drink AND it didn't even have alcohol in it haha." we honestly don't care what you say you need to get out now" we asked to speak to someone cuz it was probably just a misunderstanding. The manager comes out saying" it doesn't matter what you say you need to get out" she proceeds to grab my drink out of my hand saying " it doesn't have alcohol anyways right! I needed to find a place to watch the game Sunday night. The place I wanted to go was closed. I found a parking spot near by thankfully. Place was dead close to 9pm. That was actually nice for me. I didn't order any alcohol, just water. I was hungry so I ordered the chips and queso plus their green chile brisket Mac & cheese. I was disappointed. The queso was like the movie theater packaged cheese, super thick and cold. I was mad at myself for paying $8 for it. The creamy Mac and cheese was meh. Opposite. It was very thin, should eat with a spoon. Not a lot of cheesy flavor, mostly liquid and the brisket and green Chile is placed on top. I'm not sure if people go here to eat. The bartenders are great, the food is great, the drinks are great and they have a dj on most nights. However, the security guard at the front door is super homophobic and has refused to let me in the bar on numerous occasions. If I go to this bar to enjoy a good old fashioned and watch the game or listen to some pretty good djs when he is not working I have a great night. However every time I have gone to this bar and he is working, he refuses to let me in claiming I have had too much to drink, even on nights that I'm sober. I like this bar but they should really look into the morals of their employees. It's unaccountable for them to deny service to patrons based on personal beliefs. read more

Staff is friendly and attentive. I don't understand the impossible burger being served plain- if i wanted to feel like i was in a cafeteria putting my own mustard or Mayo on a burger i would've stayed home.
