The store on E Wabash is where I choose to give my business. The folks there are always nice and helpful. I'm there at night after work and that lady with blonde hair is a hoot. Always has a great attitude and smiling. We need more people like her in customer service. The store is clean and well stocked. Wide variety of everything! I'll continue to do my business there because of these people and a well run store. read more

Great service and great selection. Large selection of craft beers from across the region. There is a large walk in cooler that allows for you to take pretty much all of their beer home cold. They will also special order if possible for you. They also have a great bourbon selection as well. If you are having trouble finding what you want just ask the helpful staff! read more

I have never really had a good liquor store experience until I went to B&C. These guys are aficionados of their craft. There is a person for everything. Whiskey, beer, Vodka, even Absinth. If they don't have it (which is unlikely) you can't get it legally in Indiana. On the off chance they don't have what you want and they can get it...you will have it the next week. I am a craft beer nerd and I am still not half way through their list of beers. SLAINTE!!!!! read more

Terrible customer service. Incorrect signage and crummy people skills. Good that they are conscious about not selling to people under 21 but a parent with a 14 y/o child being harassed by staff for not have an ID is ridiculous. read more

Talk with Chip, the man knows his craft beer stuff. From local, to domestic, all the way to import. And if he doesn't know he won't BS you! I make it a point to stop in when I'm in the area and they are open. Knowledgeable and a HUGE selection. Best place in Terra Haute to pick up craft beer. read more

Today I accidentally paid $31 for a 4pack of beer that was labeled $15. When I went back the cashier refused to even look at my receipt. Terrible customer service. read more

But to not belittle them, if you are looking for any sort of higher end wine, this is probably one of your only options and all things considered, they have some OK options. So although maybe not a 4 star Yelp in the realm of Total Wine and giant booze stores out there on the planet, but for Terre Haute, I give it a strong 3 and thus the advantage of rounding up to a 4. If you are looking at the building, the right side door goes to the wine retailer section and the left door goes to the liquor section. Prices are reasonable and what you might expect to pay anywhere else. The wine part makes this operation unique to me. There Saturday 1PM wine tastings are really only a small sample of wine accompanied by a few bits of cheese, but I recognize the attempt. Pinot is my wheelhouse of interest and they have more interesting options than Walmart, Kroger and Walgreens by far. Elk Cove Pinot 2014 and Adelsheim Pinot 2014, both out of the Willamette Valley were my purchases today. Any place that sells labels from Oregon is a good sign. Anyway, when in the Haute, this spot will get my business for my wine dollars I would seek to spend.

There is a line of customers parked outside when they open at 6am. Most of their donuts are preferred for businesses. When they run out of donuts they close without warning, so I would come as early to open as you can if driving from far away. My favorite donuts are the glazed and the long johns. There have been many times where we went at 9 am an they were already closed. With a successful business they should make enough donuts or make more donuts if they run out to last until remotely close to what they lost as their closing time. The donuts are the best but are a bit pricey at $15 a dozen. The store is warm and small so it feels cozy and comfortable.
