I added a meatball which tasted more like an Italian sausage in a ball with a bit of spice and a chewier consistency. I wasn't mad at it, but it wasn't the seasoned ground beef crumble I expected. All in all, the meal was good, just lacking in some of things I expected from a place everyone seemed to like about it. There is no surprise that the winery has a covered bridge theme, "Cross at a Walk." Terry Britton, owne, began the winery 14 years ago after retiring. He and his wife make fruit based wines and brew several beers. Terry took time to tell us about his family history and describe the winery. Terry and family finished the interior of his event center. The center has a lovely upscale vibe with a large bar and seating for over 50 guests. The surrounding grounds are immaculate and lovely. I tried a Pina Colada slushy and my husband had lager beer.
