I came on a Sunday night it wasn't that bad parent gets very packed on the weekends I thought our bartender was very nice but the girl I was with wasn't fond of her at all and I couldn't figure out why I had a jukebox in the Playing the Spanish music and I kept changing it to DMX and naughty by nature I don't know whether Spanish music was coming from it is driving me crazy I ordered this grasshopper type shot Something like a ugly Girl Scout or something and it was a cream De mente I didn't taste alcohol Never thought I'd like the shot of crown royal in red bull cause I hate both but that was delicious. Not bad

I totally expected not to like this place. From the outside, it gave off that vibe of "douchey college bar filled with barely 21 year olds". But inside, it was actually a lot of fun. There were guys and gals there of all ages. I suggest getting there a bit early (like around 7-8pm) on a Saturday to enjoy some drinks and conversation with your friends or significant other before it gets rowdy. Then, from 9-11pm, it's $2.75 you call it's, so do a couple shots and start dancing and people watching. The music was ok. It was mainly current music, with a sprinkling of some of those 80's rock songs that everyone sings along to (Don't Stop Believin' :P) and those line dance songs you always hear at a wedding (Cha Cha Slide :P). You may want to save your wee for another spot though. The bathroom and its stalls are tiny. PS smoking is allowed in this bar.

Texas is the most amazing bartender!!! Went here during the $2.50 you call it tonight and she made sure we never had an empty glass. She also makes the best shots. Recommending the white gummy bear and fruity pebbles shots! She is super quick and served not only us, but the while corner of the bar fast! Also, she gorgeous!!!!!!! Will Def be back just for her!

Fun place but the DJ played songs we listened to in middle school the whole night. And no Taylor Swift. ..

Eh, not the best place but decent drink prices and a pretty good beer selection. Music was mediocre and so was the crowd.

Trivia is every Wednesday at 7PM. It's a pretty good time honestly. There's a guy named Juan that runs it. He has good style, he is a classy individual and a very intelligent man. Do not use your cell phone or he will exclude you from the game. His rules, not mine... understandably some of the questions are hard but it is what it is. As for the food, it's amazing no matter what I get. From the Loaded Nachos to the Reuben to the Mozzarella Sticks, PB Burger, Fried Pickle Spears, and their Brownie Sundaes... Simply amazing! Every bite makes you want another. The waitresses their are attentive, communicative, responsive, they have jokes and are very polite and respectful. It's a place you can take your Mother.

This place was fantastic, the kind of spot you're genuinely glad you stumbled into. The atmosphere had that perfect mix of cool and comfortable. I grabbed a beer, Stacy's Mom, and I'd order it again without thinking twice. My wife went for the Self‑Loathing Burger, which lived up to the hype. My daughter ordered the Mother‑Clucker (pictured), and after she gave me a bite, I immediately regretted not getting my own. I ended up with the Pittsburgher (also pictured), and it was outstanding, one of those sandwiches you keep thinking about afterward. Between the vibe and the food, it honestly felt like a little slice of heaven. Highly recommend stopping in for dinner.

The ambience didn't seem much like a speakeasy. It was more like a regular bar/restaurant. For lunch, I requested fish tacos and sweet potato fries. As an appetizer, we shared some nachos, which had a very tasty cheese sauce on them. A while later, the food was delivered. Everyone enjoyed their meals. My fish tacos each had a large piece of fish in them. The fish was seasoned and cooked perfectly, was flaky, and delicious. My sweet potato fries were a little overcooked, but still pretty good. Highly recommend that dish. My daughter's soup of the day (chicken & rice) missed the mark. But her club sandwich was the size of her head! If we're in Harrisburg, we'll visit again. Great meal!

Die hard soccer fans who had been fully invested in the World Cup, we were desperate to find a spot to watch the final. We hit the jackpot with Mr. G's!! This is a LEGIT sports bar that is more than just slapping tv's on walls for viewers. Mr G's embraces the entire experience! The locals clearly know this as the place was PACKED with people looking to have a fun time viewing a world-wide event. The owner made sure we had the time of our lives. A sound system that played pump up and celebration music at just the right times...even knowing what true soccer fans play for celebration (i.e. Freed From Desire). There were giveaways and free jello-shots passed around after Spain's goal. Everyone was cheering and having a great time like we were all the best of friends. And the best part was the owner right in the mix of all of it making sure we were all having a great time. This is for sure THE SPOT to watch any sporting event and well worth supporting. My only sadness is that we don't live in the area to become regulars.

But this place is much more than beer, and I can't recommend it enough. First, there is a bar completely separate from the eating area, so you can choose what experience you want. Second, I've known that all their beers are top notch, which is why I wanted to come here. I'm not an IPA guy, but the black IPA is some top notch stuff that anyone can appreciate. Not super hoppy, really well balanced. Blonde stout is another superb creation, Lancaster gets some depth into it that many other breweries can't manage. Third, if you want food, they learned from the Food Network and limited their menu to just a few choices, all excellently prepared. I ordered the Angry Mac with gator meat. It had excellent flavor, they made it spicier like I asked, and unlike most places they provided plenty of meat. Great quantity and great taste that I wasn't expecting. I tasted my friend's polenta and it was perfectly balanced with some cheese, not too salty. I could eat that for days. Finally, Eva, our waitress? Wonderful. My friend and I were weighing dessert, we wanted a brownie but not the whole hot fudge brownie sundae. Eva made it work and even split it between heated and cold. What a great server. Props to Eva! To get this quality of food, this quality of beer, this quality of service, and this quality of ambiance all in one? No wonder my friend was willing to go two days in a row. I need a Lancaster Brewing in my town.

I was at their original location many years ago and loved my experience there, so when I saw they have a second location in Harrisburg while on a weekend trip to Hershey/Harrisburg in November, I jumped at the chance to have dinner and a beer there. The Harrisburg location is not half as nice as the original location, as it's in a fairly nondescript building on the side of a major highway. But we nevertheless had a great time there. Our server was Arley who was superb. My girlfriend and I both got flights. Unlike most other breweries I've been to that serve 4 beers to a flight and might charge extra for high ABV beers, Lancaster Brewing Co. serves 6 to a flight and only charges $13. That's a great deal in my experience. My girlfriend ordered the pulled pork sandwich and I ordered the lamb burger. Both came out quickly and were top notch. We had a great time and would definitely come back if we're ever in the area again. In the meantime, I'll keep looking for their beers at the liquor store.
