I have wanted to try this place for quite some time. The taste of the food and the servers are the only good things i can say about this place. Me and my family walked in and ordered all around the same time as each other (we had called ahead and told them in advance 9 people were coming). We then sit down to eat and someone's burger comes out in ten minutes, cool. After this point it turns into utter chaos. One flatbread came out burnt on half, another came without pepperoni after specifically asking them to add it, crepes took 25 minutes for some reason, and when dessert was ordered afterwards we had to cancel because it was taking 45 MINUTES to make (it also took 45 minutes for salad to come out, wth???). Food on the same ticket did not all come out at the same time, and had about 30 minutes between each item coming out. When we asked why this was they acted as if this was normal, and the standard for a restaurant. This was a highly disappointing experience and I would not recommend this place to other people. read more

I attended to watch my son perform as part of a jazz combo one evening. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love that they have live music on the weekends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]During the week, you can find karaoke, comedy and other fun events.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a pool table and plenty of open seating and couches where you can hang with your friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu is a little bit of everything, which sometimes worries me. When a restaurant tries to be too many things, they don't usually excel at any of them-but the beef bulgogi that I ordered was delicious. It paired nicely with "Cuddles on the Beach," a mocktail whose name begged me to give it a try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place has a great atmosphere. I love the scattered seats throughout the stone, cozy, basement. There is plenty of seating, even big group tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu is a little big, almost overwhelming. I am always a little hesitant when it's huge because that usually means a lot of Okay food and nothing spectacular. We ordered the burger and the Italian flat bread. I was surprised at how minimal the burger was and yet so packed with flavor. The texture is good, the patty is fresh, it has cucumbers instead of lettuce, and it takes great. I enjoyed it. I wish it came with a side of fries but it isn't much more to add them on. We also got to try the new spicy fry sauce they are working on. It was great. The flat bread came out a little wonky, not a consistent shape but was very hot and fresh. The toppings were delicious, pretty much just a mini pizza to be honest. The service seems to be getting ironed out. Most new restaurants require a grace period, especially in a college town. Our food took awhile to come out, including the special drink we ordered. But the owner was great at walking around and checking on people that were waiting. So they are making improvements. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, I think this is a really cool spot for food and hanging out. There are big TVs on some walls with games on, there are seated areas to dine and chat. There is live music on the weekends and a pool table in the back. Desserts were good. Not all listed desserts were available. Wait for them was on the edge of completely unacceptable. Had to check on them to get a lame excuse for the wait. Service borders on obtrusive at the greeting. Amazing people amazing food. Its expensive, but expected for a bar that doesn't charge people to come in and lets you play board games and pool for as long as you want just for getting one drink. Plus, the crepes are fire. Everyones especially kind and service is great, amazing ambiance. read more

We came across this restaurant by accident after an event held at the Covey Center For The Arts, which happened to be the George Michael reborn tribute concert. Honestly, a little difficult to find via maps, as we did not know that it was in the basement of the address. But as soon as we entered, we were greeted by Malcolm served by Hiram and even the owner Patrick came out to serve us, and chat a bit about his restaurant. I had the Chuk's salmon bowl And Elaine had the TomTom Tom bowl. Both were delicious where you even had that Clafoutis dessert which the Chef came out to recommend to us. There are maybe 6 different menus to choose your meal from. You order your food and drinks at the bar and then choose a place to hang out. Mama dos flatbreads are unbelievable here! You have to go if you want some of the best flatbreads in town. The ambiance is adorable which super cute decor. It is kind of like an underground bar so the vibes are so fun. The staff is so kind and helpful. We tried the flatbread, onion rings, and drinks and they were all so delicious. 10/10 will be going back and I'm so happy someone is finally making a social environment that provo has desperately needed for a long time now! read more

I am a picky eater but I highly recommend The Luna Cubana, The Winter or Italian Flatbread, The Greek Salad, Spanish Chorizo Bites and for dessert The Killer Churro Plate or The Flourless Chocolate Torte that has an orange taste! Those are for sure my favorites, and you can't go wrong ordering those. I attended a Halloween costume party hosted by a film festival and it was amazing! They've made significant upgrades since this was "the underground" and I am super jazzed to frequent The Social regularly. The new owner, event manager and food manager all seem very involved and excited to bring together the Provo community and visitors into a pretty cool new way. Has a real family and hangout vibe with pool table, lounge couches, big family style dinner tables, modern picnic tables, some intimate seating areas and a serving bar. Totally good space for a private event, particularly with the kitchen serving window a little tucked away and the super large bar with ample equipment for beverage cooling. read more

Went here with friends and they brought out 2 plates of crepes. The lady just set it down and mumbled. We found out that same lady was The co-owner and she told us to pay for it since we took a bite and we were willing. The owner comes out and says you shouldn't do that, we told him that she put it down and we didn't know who ordered it. It was a misunderstanding. She proceeded to yell at us saying that we needed to pay. First of all, not our fault they brought the wrong plate to the wrong table. Second, have some customer service. Jesus Christ. Very disappointed, I loved this place and after that I will NOT be going back. read more

This place was such a missed opportunity. It gets 2 stars because of the atmosphere. The vibes in there were great, nice staff, cool location.... but, the food was actually really bad. We got food from each place and all of it was all gross. The nachos were the best, and the Indian food was decent, below average. They used dried out canned chicken on salad and Walmart bought crouton.... It was drier than the Sahara desert. If they got some better restaurants in here this place would be awesome read more

Probably one of the most botched ideas ever. Could have been such a cool place for provo, but it is such a dingy gross environment in a basement. I was hyped for our mock-tail drinks with my friends, but to no surprise it was probably one of the worst drinks I've ever had, and $6 bucks none the less. No one finished their drinks.
