From the very…read morebeginning, Dr. Yu took the time to understand my injury history and created a customized program specifically tailored to my needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. During the program, I unfortunately sustained another injury affecting my neck, shoulder, and back. Instead of simply pausing my progress, Dr. Yu quickly pivoted and developed a new plan that worked around my limitations while helping me recover safely. His depth of knowledge of the human body is truly remarkable. Thanks to his expertise and personalized approach, I'm now able to work out again and even get back to hiking--activities I wasn't sure I'd be able to enjoy after my injuries. That progress has been incredibly meaningful to me. Dr. Yu is like a mad scientist--in the best possible way. He's completely devoted to his craft, constantly analyzing, adapting, and finding the most effective approach for each individual. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping his clients heal, move better, and perform at their best. If you're looking for someone who combines scientific expertise with personalized care and delivers real results, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Benjamin Yu and the Longevity Performance Institute.

I was training for a half marathon when my injuries happened and with Wendy, I was able to run and complete the race, even though there was some pain, it was manageable and the pain didn't happen til much later. Scheduling is easy, the gym and rooms are clean. Staff were all super friendly. I think what I love most is that some physical therapy offices have you see the PT for just a few mins and then they send you off to work with an aide or assistant. At LPI you stay with your PT the entire session. I plan to go back and do some check ins to hopefully prevent future issues or injuries.

Listen, I hate needles and if I can avoid it I will, but I've been to Dr. Tu a handful of times…read moredue to lifting injuries or other injuries. To be honest, acupuncture is my last line of defense and I'll do it as my last resort just because I hate needles, but the fact that I keep coming here to fix myself despite the aversion to needles is a testament to how GOOD Jenny is. If you're an athlete, come here. She will understand, as she's an athlete herself, as she was an elite powerlifter and martial artist. She, as a clinician just "gets it." which is so important as a clinician! I want to show the few times she has literally and figuratively saved my ass: My sciatica. I went on a road trip and it flared up so bad that I contemplated going to the ER. I couldn't even touch the skin around my glutes, it was so bad that I had numbness and tingling in the saddle area, injection of toradol didn't work, vicodin didn't even work. I was in bed laying on my left side for days. I couldn't walk. My entire right side and some of my left from the low back to my heel hurt, and when I got there some of the symptoms subsided in it's intensity but it was still there. I'm a physical therapist, but II couldn't even do the easist exercises I would prescribe to my patients because it hurt so bad. I couldn't even tolerate any soft tissue massage. She did her work and her magic and brought my pain down to a manageable level where I could tolerate walking, sitting and going to a massage therapist (shout out to citris body workx) who aboslutely annhilated my piriformis and then I was fixed. She was able to get deep into the piriformis and into my hamstring insertion points (it was NOT painless but she did such an amazing job) If it weren't for Jenny, I wouldn't have been able to get there. More recently, she helped me with my neck and shoulder problems that have been getting worse over the past couple months and it came to a head a month ago. Again, acupuncture really fixed a lot of muscle trigger points that was causing the pain. and after a day or two I felt so much better. I even started lifting again (lightly). I am still going to her for the same issue, but the fact that I was living with probably an 8/10 pain (dull deep aching pain) and went to a 4-5/10 is amazing. For my sciatica I went from a 10/10 (as in, almost into the ER, sometimes crying) to a 4/10 immediately and was able to tolerate massage work from somewhere else. Also, if you like dry needling (like physical therapists outside of CA and CA athletic trainers do) then she does that as well.

Jenny is by far the best acupuncturist in town. I've had acupuncture done before and I believe and…read moreexperienced it's healing techniques. As an athlete the main goal is injury prevention and when you do get injured, you must immediately make it a priority to seek professional help. I came in because of shoulder pain. She assessed my shoulder and treated it with cupping, acupuncture, and stem. She believe it will heal within weeks. I'm very pleased with her work!

After sharing my experience with my friends and neighbors on California Sports & Spine Institute, I…read morerealized I never left them a review. I know, shocking since I clearly like reviewing. So here it goes: Gather round, my friends, it's story time. So without divulging my entire medical history, I will share with my fellow Yelpers that I, Margo "Yelp-go", have EDS (has nothing to do with ED and everything to do with chronic pain) I have been to SO many pain management doctors (around 6) and after a bad experience at Risser Orthopedic (don't worry, I'll get to that review later) I decided to search for the Dr that led me to go to Risser in the first place (*cue the music*) Dr Moradian! I had seen Dr Moradian briefly around 7 yrs prior after a car accident, at Risser. He was kind, professional and after 5 other pain management doctors later, definitely more skilled. (Yes, I will publicly shame these past practices at a later date. Your girl's trying to stay positive here) When I returned to Risser, I asked to see Dr Moradian and was told he was no longer there. Obviously, I created a false narrative that he retired young and was traveling the Bahamas in happiness and that he was no longer an option for me. So fast forward to me having enough of the disappointment with Risser. (I'm talking about them randomly changing appointments on me without letting me know and literally calling me for a phone appointment when my poor grandma was dying in a hospital and then charging me for not being available despite not ever scheduling me for that day. Then mix in Evelyn with the attitude...) I digress, I was just done. I felt like I was starting from ground zero and decided I would just google Dr Moradian. I guess I thought, "hmm, maybe he's retired but has a a twin with the same career and professionalism". I'm so glad I did because *BAM* I found him (in hindsight I should have just started with this, but hey, you live and you learn) When I called to schedule, he wasn't available. An invisible tear fell from my face. The lady on the other line recommended that I try his colleague Dr Vartanian. I admit, I was hesitant but figured he had to be "okay" if he was with Dr Moradian. I was RIGHT (and a little wrong) because Dr Vartanian is amazing! *confetti emoji* He's not only the most gentle Trigger Point Injector (again, I've had this done by now 7 drs.) but he's also compassionate towards his patients and encourages a plan towards maintaining mobility for a rewarding life. He's the first doctor that I would vouch for to say that he's a genuinely good person. Not just a "good doctor" but a "good person".

Another reviewer here that said that not only is Dr. Vartanian a good doctor, but a good person…read more I'd have to agree with that 100%. Finding one who genuinely cares is a rarity these days. He thoroughly explains all the options and I never feel rushed. Integrity because his recommendations are conservative instead of immediately recommending surgery. Office staff are pleasant and friendly. Thank you Dr. V!

The pain was so…read moreintense that I couldn't even open doors or hold anything--everyday tasks felt impossible. I honestly just wanted to be able to use my arm again without constant pain. From the very beginning, Dr. Chan was professional, thorough, and incredibly honest. She gave me a fair warning that it could take 3-5 months to see results, which at first felt discouraging--but I appreciated her transparency. She carefully assessed my condition, explained exactly what was happening, and laid out a treatment plan that was realistic and tailored to me. It's been about 4 months now, and I am completely pain-free! I was initially skeptical--what could physical therapy really do when the pain was this severe? But the results speak for themselves. My arm is fully functional again, and I've been able to get back to activities I love, including pickleball and other racquet sports. Dr. Chan's approach is thoughtful, personalized, and effective. She listens, understands, and genuinely cares about her patients' progress. I can't recommend her enough to anyone struggling with pain or injury. If you're looking for a physical therapist who delivers real results and restores your confidence in your body, Dr. Beth Chan is the one to see

Dr. Josh is the absolute BEST if you need any kind of physical therapy! I don't say that…read morelightly--he truly worked a miracle on our daughter's shoulder, and we feel incredibly blessed to have found him. His demeanor, KNOWLEDGE, approach, and genuine empathy are unmatched. He is worth every dollar we spent and every mile we drove to see him. We traveled from Orange County to Arcadia every week at first, and eventually every month, because we knew she was in the right hands. We need more physical therapists like Dr. Josh--professionals who truly LISTEN, take the time to understand the individual person and their injury, and then create a recovery plan specifically for them rather than taking a generalized approach. We came to Dr. Josh after our daughter had been receiving physical therapy elsewhere for a labrum tear in her shoulder. While her previous PT helped somewhat, she continued to experience flare-ups. It felt like we were taking one step forward and two steps back, and we knew we needed to try something different. Then came Coach Sean from Aquatic Sports Performance, who frequently highlighted Dr. Josh in his Instagram videos while working with some of the best swimmers in the world--many of whom were dealing with injuries far more severe than my daughter's. I thought, If Dr. Josh can help rehab these pro/elite swimmers, I feel confident he can help my daughter. From our very first consultation, I knew we had found someone different. Dr. Josh asked question after question because he genuinely wanted to understand every detail of my daughter's injury, her history, what she had been experiencing, and how we had gotten to the point of seeking him out. He explained his approach, what needed to happen to get her shoulder pain under control, and how he would ultimately help her regain her mobility. One year and a few months later, my daughter can finally say she is PAIN FREE! We truly believe that is because of Dr. Josh's knowledge, expertise, caring nature, and individualized approach. He performed countless assessments, checked in with her weekly, texted with us, and had long and sometimes difficult conversations with her about her future in swimming and water polo. But he also celebrated her victories right alongside her. There were a LOT of tears and heartache along the way. Even after she was pain-free and had regained her mobility, she struggled month after month with the disappointment of not making her cuts in swimming. Through all of it, Dr. Josh was there. He helped pick up the pieces, encouraged her when she was devastated, and reminded her to keep pushing forward. And then came May 2026--her FIRST sectional cut! Then June brought TWO MORE! I will never forget telling Dr. Josh the news. He was just as excited as we were, texting us and then celebrating with a huge smile and a, "LET'S GOOOO!" when we saw him. That moment meant so much because he had been there through the entire journey--not just the physical recovery, but the emotional one too. We are forever grateful to Dr. Josh. He is truly one of a kind. Whenever someone asks us for a physical therapy recommendation, our answer has been--and always will be: "GO SEE DR. JOSH AT REASON PHYSIO! HE IS WORTH IT!"
