We recently took a 2 week, backpacking trip through Europe. Stops included Amsterdam, Prague, Berlin, and Copenhagen. We made hotel reservations on the fly, so it was happenstance that we came across this hotel on a last minute deal site. We honestly couldn't have been happier with our choice! This place was very lovely, very quaint and beautiful. The location was easy to find, and felt that it was conveniently located. There is even a great bar across the street and down just a few doors - Blah Blah Bar. Here's our best highlights:
Pros: Very spacious room. Not sure if they are all the same, but we got a room with a separate bedroom, living room, master bathroom, and second bathroom off of the living room area. The bed was large and comfortable (not just 2 twin mattresses pushed together, which is pretty typical in all other European cities). The breakfast was included in our room, and was a great selection! The mini bar in the room was well stocked, and the prices were extremely reasonable. In fact, I think that we consumed just about everything in there! We also ordered room service (filet mignon w/ potatoes) and it was delicious and very reasonably priced. Wifi was free and had no speed/connection issues.
Cons: The only con I can think of would be the shower. The shower had a glass panel that only went across about a quarter of the tub, so it felt cooler just because the steam wasn't trapped. This was honestly something that we encountered at every hotel in Europe though, so it wasn't necessarily specific to this hotel.
Overall we were very impressed. It was a real "bang for our buck", and we would definitely stay here again if our travels take us back to Prague. If you are looking for an 'upscale', quaint, beautiful and spacious hotel, with great amenities, I would certainly suggest this hotel! read more
