Three strikes, I won't be back again. The first time, I made an appointment for 3 and waited in the shop for over a half hour. It was an okay pedicure, not really that great, but I was literally chased down for a tip. What? NEVER had that happen before. Was pretty upset they took my appointment if they couldn't honor the time. Second time, I got a no chip mani, and it just wasn't good. The finish was streaky (like from brush strokes with too little polish), and had bubbles. I thought, maybe that was bad day. Went back one more time, another no-chip, another not good job. I was cut pretty bad. The finish is so bumpy, bubbly, the nail polish is up onto my cuticle - so you know how that looks. I wish I could get another no chip RIGHT AWAY because this looks ridiculous. Actually was considering not posting this review, but I have now broken two nails in one week. And my nails just look awful. Such a bummer because I'm local and wanted a quick place to go to. The only positive thing I can say is that the women working on my nails were very sweet.....it's been just a few days and my No Chip is chipping badly and turning a weird grey color. I'm really disappointed especially for the price. I want to add that this pink color has 4 layers on it. I also got a pedi and again a disappointment. The woman there barley cleaned my feet. Safe to say I won't be going there again nor will I be recommending this place to my friends/family. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I chose this salon since I was having lunch nearby and was not disappointed. I usually use gel polish but the color I wanted was in shellac so decided to try that. I also had a broken nail that needed fixed. So three weeks later my nails still look great! The fix on the broken nail has held and they are all still shiny and bright. The texture of my nails was a little tacky for the first day or two which bothered me a little but then it went away. I will definitely go here again if I am in the area. read more

Stumbled upon this nail salon/spa/clothing jewelry boutique after a stop at Mariano's one afternoon. I did not have an appointment but they were able to accommodate me. The ladies working here were the most friendly and pleasant out of any I've encountered. Had a great manicure that lasted for a full week . They do have a small selection of women's clothing & jewelry. Some of it is custom made (come to find out the owner also runs boutique reform in Glencoe - she did a great job tailoring my husband's tuxedo but that is for another review ;) I wold definitely call ahead next time and schedule an appointment as they had a steady stream of people coming in - even at 4 pm on a weekday. It can be hard to see the entrance from the construction on Willow but you enter from the parking lot behind the building. I will definitely be back! Change of ownership has caused a decline in service and quality. I was here recently for a no-chip and the service took a full 2 hours. I had a scheduled appointment and waited 30 minutes for my service to start. A friend had a vinyl lux polish and they accidentally put no-chip top coat on top and she had to come back since her nails were still sticky an hour later. I came here because of the outstanding Yelp reviews. Thanks to all who wrote such helpful reviews! My technician was very skilled and precise, two things necessary for a professional manicure. It is getting harder to find a great looking manicure but you will get one here. The price is very reasonable and worth every penny. They have a little boutique and sell some clothes and accessories. They are open until 5pm on Sundays, which is an hour later than their Yelp page says. You might want to call to double check. Went in at 10:30a on a Monday morning. Not a soul in the place save one worker who was on her phone. I asked if I could get a pedicure. The reply : "We are too busy. Come back another day." I'm really sad; this used to be my go to nail salon. However the salon has new owners-- about 3 months ago-- March 2016-- I'd guess and it shows. It's gone from an A to an F in my book. The manicures and pedicures are now subpar. Down and dirty, get them out the door --fast and nothing special. The massage lasts two minutes. Literally I felt like not one of the employees enjoyed their job. It's a whole different vibe from the cheery, happy salon that I've been to sizes of times. Last week I went in for a mani pedi. They asked if the could do both at once. Great. The staff chats in a different language throughout the service. Fine. But the lady doing my pedicure was interrupted about 5 times to answer the phone or help customers check out. It was very annoying. Then someone walks in and asks for gel nails with no appointment and she can't wait. The woman doing my nails, starts doing her nails, and the pedicure lady has to finish mine. I'm upset-- I really used to love this salon. The decor used to be cute and very clean. Now it's not. There are terrible hand written signs, ugly plants and a old dog that runs around. The read more

Tried this place today and was very happy with my pedicure and no-chip manicure. (I am very picky about nail places.) The pedicure chairs are heavenly and the staff were all very friendly. It was incredibly clean too. $65 total for both services. I'll definitely come back. As mentioned in other reviews, it's tricky to access with the construction on Willow. You have to drive behind Dunkin Donuts (like you're going to the drive through) and the entrance is right there. Parking was easy in the lot. I went to the salon for a facial from Janle. I've been going to her for a long time. She also works at another salon. Her treatments are superb. I've had facials, peels, microderm abrasion and micro needling. Not only do her treatments really work, they are also very reasonably priced. She will help you plan a skin care regimen catered to your particular skin type. She is a licensed aesthetician and sells PCA products which are really very good. The skin cleanser is really excellent and smells great. She doesn't push those products on you either which is refreshing. If you're in the market for these types of services, it is well worth a visit to the spa just to get a treatment from her. Too bad about the reviews on the nail salon though. I'm hoping that the salon is going through a period of adjustment under the new ownership because it really is a great location. I'm going to check them out soon. read more

Unfortunately, when I went in this past weekend, not only was I rushed but the lady who did my nails used the same cuticle clipper on my fingers and then my friends... without ever sanitizing them! All I could think of was... who else has she used these clippers on before me- without sanitizing? Oh my. Where do I even start. I came in for no chip and 6 days later 2nails peeled off. I went in to get it fixed and the lady just painted over making the nail bumpy and uneven. I asked her to take the polish off to make it smooth and she told me I would have to wait for a manager who will be in in 15 minutes and then she walked away. While my friend who had a similar problem they removed her polish and re did the nail fresh. Never coming back. read more

I found this spot on google maps as I was in the area . I did not like the atmosphere at all . I have never felt this uncomfortable at a nail salon before . The lady that did my no chip kept on telling me to relax my arm but then she would bent it in a weird way and it was never good angle for her . Deceptive and chipped polish for "No chip" after 3 days. Do not go here! I tried this salon and will not be returning. They had a "special" for mani/pedi, and when I asked about it, they said yes, they could do it. When I finished they gave me the full price because no chip was not included. They should have explained this. Emily told me the shellac would last 3 weeks and was better than the OPI so I gave it a try even though the color selection was limited. I thought I would just be paying the difference, but no, I paid full price. I then went on vacation for a week. My nails on 4 fingers were all chipped and had cracks in them after 3 days. I went back to explain that this is how they looked after three days and the owner said because it grew out, she could not do anything. Bad customer service! read more
