I was in FL and had to go to a salon there for a no chip mani. Terrible! I wanted to make a point to post since a lot of the reviews are many years old. I had an excellent experience at Blooming Nails today. I was a walk-in, and they were able to accommodate me right away for a mani-pedi due to a sudden cancellation. I found the salon to be charming, clean, quite large, plenty of parking in the rear, and a great selection of colors. My pedicure technician was so nice and gentle and very good. I believe her name was Adia, or something close to it. I wish I'd asked her how to spell it. She did not rush despite a constant flow of folks coming in, she was very thorough and very gentle despite my feet needing a lot of work today. Her massage felt lovely, and she did a great job helping my dry feet. A few minutes after my pedicure began, Michelle came over to do my manicure while I was getting my pedicure done. I must've picked a good time to walk in to have such great service. Michelle was equally as nice, and also very skilled and good. She did an excellent job on my cuticles, and she is so skilled at painting. There was not a spot on my skin, and she was so thorough. Next time I will definitely make an appointment. It's a great location, and they had light music playing that wasn't too loud so it was a very relaxing atmosphere. I just wanted to make sure they got the credit they deserved on here. Came here for a regular manicure because someone gave me a gift certificate for it. The place is very bright and clean. Everyone greeted me when I walked in. They were very accommodating as I didn't make an appointment a head of time, started on my nails right away. They have a good selection of colors, mostly OPI and Essie. The manicure procedure was pretty standard, nothing outstanding or special. One thing I noticed is that not everyone here speaks English, I asked my lady if they do nail art here, and she just looked at me and smiled. Overall I had a good experience, everyone was really nice, but my nails are not perfect. I can see one uneven spot and some bubbles. I just got a pedicure here. Every place I've been to, they always cut me while using the little clippers to clean the cuticles. Becky did such a good job that I was almost in tears with how happy I was. Everyone is so friendly and I had such a relaxing experience. My appointment was toward the end of their day, so I got to witness everyone thoroughly wipe down everything. The place is definitely clean! I will for sure be back! I'm so happy!! Yay!! read more

The best nail spot in the area, hands down. Suzy is my absolute favorite and always gives me the best no chip mani and pedicure. Never feel rushed, great service and prices, and relaxation always. My husband and I came here on a groupon in December and both had a very good experience. The service was friendly, everything was clean, fresh and comfortable and the technicians did a great job on my polish hands and feet. They also do a nice massage and the drying area has newer machines that really do completely dry your nails so I could even put my hand into my pocket. I'm editing my review to add my newer experience. I went to 2 other salons on groupons in-between and came back to blooming nails bc they did the best of all 3. On my birthday my husband called and paid ahead and when I walked in they sang hbd to me and it was really nice and festive! The service was again very good and the manager even had some color choices available for me bc I'd told her on the phone I was looking for a more obscure color. This is my new place! My mom and I used to come here for manicures and pedicures quite frequently until things started changing a few years ago. I had a gift certificate for a manicure so I decided I'd try it again and get a pedicure while I was there. Worst idea. Lisa did my nails and she was extremely rude and acted like me asking for my cuticles to be pushed back was a hassle for her. I wish I had paid more attention while she was painting my toes because it just looks like she painted over my cuticles. Meh. I was really wanting to like this place since it looked so pretty from the outside! I came here this afternoon without an appointment. My massage chair was obviously broken. There was a Dr. Scholls massager stuck in between the liner. My nail tech just seemed disinterested. I could tell that she was talking about customers to the neighboring nail tech in their native language. The pedicure results were ok but nothing to write home about. My manicure left my fingers in pain. She filed so close to my finger tips that it nicked the skin. Every time she applied nail polish remover or alcohol it burned. Two hours later, my little finger still stings. During the massage, she did not put any effort into it. I noticed that other customers got a massage when they were drying. I did not receive one. I just felt like the odd one out. Prices are a little steep for this level of service. I might come here again if I am desperate but it definitely is not my top nail place. And, by the way, they only take cash tips. read more

I'll give this place a star, since I have to. Literally the worst pedicure I've ever had. It was literally 15 minutes. I came with my mom & grandma, both of whom sat down before me because I was indecisive about the color I wanted. Matter of fact, everyone that was getting a pedicure at the time sat down before me & finished about 10 minutes after me (the earliest). The lady doing my pedicure didn't say a single word. I, maybe, soaked my feet in the water for a minute before she pulled them out, scrubbed them, filed them & began to dry them to paint. She did a one minute massage that consisted of her rolling her hands over my legs/feet & before I knew it my toes were painted. I'm standing on my feet all day every day, there's no way my nails & feet were that maintenance free. Basically, this was the worst pedicure I've ever had & the biggest waste of $30 ever. I have to be honest about this place. I tried it for my first time andI wanted to like it but my manicure was bad. The reason I'm giving this place two stars is because the lady I had was nice.Without going into too many details the bottom line is my nails NEVER dried! Seriously after five hours I reached into my purse to take out my wallet at a convient store and my nails had scratches allll over them. This is BY FAR the best salon I have ever been to. I have been going there for about 10 years, all of the ladies are phenomenal. I can do my own nails pretty well also, but its nice to go and be pampered. I always go to Lindsay; she is so sweet and I leave with a perfect manicure every time. $15 for a manicure is a little pricier than most places, but it lasts me perfectly atleast a week and a half to 2 weeks without any chipping. Pedicures around a month, if not longer. Very clean, cute decor, everyone is very friendly. I might be the pickiest person in the world, but I would give them 20 stars if I could! :) read more

I was a frequent customer under original owner/management. The nail techs at that time were skilled and taught how to correctly apply silk wraps, etc so as not to damage nails. I was a loyal customer for over 4 years because I could take a break from silks with absolutely no damage. Again, they did it correctly with no short cuts or damaging products. As new management took over, they lost their skilled nail techs. I was hopeful with the latest new owners to give them another try. I had damaged a few nails while moving and asked for silks to repair. I knew almost immediately that the nail tech was doing a poor job. She was overseen by the one owner as she worked. A thick coat of clear base was applied over the nails which surprised me. Then an electric buffer was brought out to which I immediately asked her to stop. I was afraid of uneven divots on my nails and I have NEVER had this done with my silks before. Again the owner assured this was just to buff off 'the glue'. I let her finish the process. The entire experience made me very uncomfortable and when having the silks removed weeks later I went to a different salon. I was told that a layer of acrylic had been applied over the silks, thus the buffer!!! Needless to say I was quite distressed and am now in the process of growing out the damage done to the nails. While the new owners are very nice, the correct way to do silks was wrong and deceptive in that they did not inform me they were applying acrylic........ I will not be back!!!! read more

Ugh...never again. Worst pedicure I've ever had. I went here with my daughter and we each got a mani/pedi. The pedicure was awful, if our feet soaked for a minute it was too long. There was no buffing or scrubbing of the bottom of our feet. My cuticles were left pretty much the same as I came in and they were polished right along with the nails which were completely uneven, some way shorter than others. No cuticle oil was used, and the massage was poor. The manicure was average at best, nails were not shaped evenly and again the cuticle was painted over. The attention received by our two young manicurists left much to be desired. No communication, at least not with us, not even a friendly hello or smile. I kid you not I walked in and said hello, and all I heard was crickets. The only woman who had a sunny disposition in that place was, well, a woman named Sunny. Sadly we were not attended by her. I should have left but we needed a mani/pedicure and it was the only place we were able to get a last minute Saturday morning appointment at. (I can kind of guess why.) One star because I have too, and I guess for the last minute appointment they gave me, even though I wish they wouldn't have. Hate that I spent $90 +tip of my hard earned money there. read more

I was there a couple weeks ago and two days later my nails chipped, which I had the no-chip. I returned back to the place and they didn't apologize, they were just talking in their language and said I had to be more careful.
