I happened upon this place by accident. While looking for studio art space in the area it was located right across the street from The Murphy Art center. I recognized the name and immediately had to go check it out. This was the most amazing accidental situation EVER. Such a cute, quaint italian inspired cafe. I knew my son would want the honey lavender latte and I knew I wanted to try the cherry blossom matcha. There was also a London fog earl grey tea in the mix. And to snack on, a chocolate crossiant, a cinnamon bun and a cardamom bun as well. So let me unpack all of that for you. All of the drinks were delightful, you didn't have to add much sweetener to any of them unless you just want your beverage to be sweet. The honey lavender and thw cherry blossom were very refreshing and full of flavor. The London fog was very aromatic, it smelled wonderful long before you took a sip. Super creamy, frothy an all around treat for your taste buds. I was so impressed. The pastries, one word DIVINE. I was teansport3d back to Paris when I took a bite of my chocolate crossiant, very light and flaky. It was an excellent choice with my cherry blossom matcha. The cinnamon bun was full of flavor and flaky as well. Not overly sugary, it was just right. Lastly the tea was so amazing I had to get one to go for breakfast tomorrow and my son grabbed a cardamom bun. I have no words for how fantastic that bun was. Nice and warm. The slightly sweet and savory played well together and I was not ready. There is seating inside and out. Outside had covered patio space with ceiling fans. Inside vibes were awesome while you listened to some mellow music. Customer service was grade A and though they have another location in Carmel, I think I have found a home with the fountain square location. I will be back sooner rather then later. Give thwm a try Yelpers, you won't be disappointed.
A very cute place in the city of Fountain square. I went here for a morning coffee and tried their chocolate croissant! The croissant was so flaky in a good way! The coffee was fine to me, I went out on a limb to try something new that I don't normally get but it gave me the pick up I needed. The servers were nice and the place was clean. I recommend!
The staff is so friendly and great! Recommended a special seasonal hot coffee drink that was delicious. The space is chic and welcoming. I can't wait to come back!
This place is so amazing! The lattes are not sweet and so flavorful. The place is dog friendly and so welcoming. I got the spicy chocolate latte and it was so delicious. It lines up quickly so get there early.
The cutest coffee shop in Fountain Square! I stopped in to try the Mayan Mocha, which is dark chocolate, honey, cinnamon & cayenne. The flavors really go nicely together and as someone who is still trying to find her "go-to" coffee order, I thought it had a pleasant taste. It was not overly sweet and I loved the little bit of heat the cayenne gave the drink. I ordered it hot, but you could get it iced, however the barista suggested I order it hot instead. Adorable vibes with a cute outdoor seating too. I can't wait to see their second location in Carmel and love that their cups feature local artists. An extra touch of something special.

looooved the aesthetic of this place! I got an iced vanilla latte and cranberry orange muffin and sat outside to enjoy them both. lots of seating outside, no open tables inside. appreciated the free cups and ice water because it was a hot summer day!!
We needed a little coffee refuel while touring downtown Indianapolis and stopped at Bovaconti to help us out. We enjoyed hot mochas and iced mochas on the beautiful patio. This spot served up one of the best mochas I've ever tried! If you are looking for a wonderful coffee shop with a gorgeous interior, make sure to visit Bovaconti!

Pretty sure the almond croissant here is the BEST croissant I've ever had. Also got a honey lavender latte while I was here, and it was delicious! Very cute cafe with tables in the back if you're looking to study or get some work done.
I really enjoyed the Mexican Mocha on a recent visit. There were quite a few other delicious sounding options too! The atmosphere was perfect for visiting or getting a little work done. It was crazy busy (lines out the door), but they were pretty efficient. Great choice for coffee in Fountain Square!
I went on a Saturday morning for a quick coffee - fully expecting to wait. The line was longish but the service was SO quick and so friendly. It was packed with people - many working/studying. The vibes were cute, and the coffee was delicious! I loved the cafe Miele. Next time I think I'd get it half sweet - but that's just out of personal preference. The flavor was perfect!
I went here after my Pilates class at Era Pilates Sunday. There was a line out the door but it moved quickly! Ordering was efficient and pleasant. I got the cherry blossom matcha drink. It was SO GOOD! As I drank it the flavor changed from matcha to cherry which I loved! Also it's beautiful to look at! A friend got an herbal tea. Also very good! There's some seating in the back. We initially didn't get a seat inside so we sat on the covered patio. It was a bit chilly, so we went inside and were able to find a table. Great ambiance! I'll have to try their coffee sometime soon!
If you are looking for an eclectic coffee shop in Fountain Square, this is a perfect place to hang out with your favorite person or to do work. Plenty of seating, wi-fi connection and a nice beverage/ pastry selection. The vibe and decor is new school/old world (if that makes sense). It's very European in decor with a modern flair. My only wish is they consider serving salads or sandwiches...we were there for so long we built up a serious appetite. We would've stayed there longer if we had that option. This spot is close to tons of parking and is very dog friendly. I will certainly be back again. Oh btw..I ordered the Miele Latte and it was perfectly made with an interesting mix of cozy ingredients..don't ask me what because I can't remember but it reminded me of the Holidays...check it out when you are there! read more
THIS PLACE UNDERSTANDS THE ASSIGNMENT!!! A cute coffee shop located on the main drag of Fountain Square. If there is a line, you better wait! 1) it goes super quickly and 2) IT IS AMAZING COFFEE!!! Today I got both the London Fog with oatmilk and their Feat. Single Origin: Indie Ethiopia drip brew. Yall, this Indie Ethiopia drip brew WAS AMAZING -- it didn't even make it to the table before it was GONE! The London Fog was amazing as well! They use Hubbard and Cravens tea which I am a huge fan of! J got himself a lil treat - the Banana Bread Pudding which was great as well! I will be coming back to try the Cafe Miele and Spanish Latte!!! read more
Came here during a work break to get a quick caffeine boost! This place is TOO cute!! I love the modern industrial feel to the space. It's looks really small from the outside and can be hard to miss but once you walk inside it's quite spacious! I ordered the Spanish Latte and it was perfect! Just the slightest hint of cinnamon and not too overpowering! I also love the fact that they do have seasonal drinks as well! Overall very cute coffee shop and delicious drinks! However, docking one star cause parking can be a hassle and I had a hard time finding parking. Will definitely be back though!! read more

Great place with good prices. Pictured is a black coffee and a cookie. The coffee is always great. It tasted super fresh and it's brewed well. I've had their americano and iced coffee before, too. Both are great. They have a decent selection of muffins, cookies, and scones as well. All of their small baked goods are great. This is a great place to get a coffee and read the news. The only issue is that it's so good, that it fills up quick inside. Get here early if you want to sit at a table. Finally, the staff is very friendly and has always made my orders quick. This is a very good coffee place. Definitely try it out. read more
We were on a morning stroll to Amelia's and decided we needed some caffeine and a hot drink to keep us warm. Bonvaconti to the rescue! You can grab a cup to enjoy outside while getting the reminder that "YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL" as a sign is displayed across the street on a building. We didn't stay for too long but I so wish we did. This is the kind of coffee shop dream about working out of. The ambiance is very dim and quite. The front of the coffee shop is quite small with little seating but there was an area toward the back that seemed to have more seating available. You see "Ciao bella" written on the ground as soon as you walk in and displayed as a neon sign where they make coffee, with splashes of cool pinks and greens everywhere. For our drink of choice, my friend & I got the Spanish Latte. It gave me Vietnamese coffee vibes but with a dash of cinnamon. The perfect companion on a cold morning! If you're looking for milk substitutes, they have them all... except for macadamia nut milk. I know this substitute is a rarity but I had to ask just in case. The baristas and staff were all so friendly and I felt comfort throughout Bonvaconti Coffee. read more

Well trained baristas and absolutely stunning interior design - Bovaconti Coffee is a must try! Their new summer drink is a golden latte with turmeric and blueberry. I really enjoyed this drink and it was nice to have something different to pick from since it was so hot after walking around in Fountain Square. My husband went with his ride or die - the hot mocha latte. He's hard to impress but loved his drink. The shop is carefully designed in pink and green with beautiful tile work and an array of spaces. Sit in the back for a dark and moody spot to read, enjoy the window seats up front with a croissant, or sit outside on the shaded patio with your group of friends. read more
Bovaconti is a good shop in a great spot! I think they have the most aesthetic coffee shop space of anyone in Indy. They usually have interesting drink options with exciting flavors. That being said, I do think the actual quality of their coffee is not the greatest. I also never find anywhere to sit when I go there, so it usually ends up being a quick stop while walking through FSQ. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend anyone in Indy check it out especially for the vibes. read more
The cortado breve tastes delicious. The iced teas on rotation are all excellent. The chai - hot or cold - with an extra shot is also a good choice. Friendly, professional baristas. Nice atmosphere. Good place to study in the back. read more

I did not love this place the first time I had it years ago. Once again, I have it a try and I really enjoyed the coffee! I'm a purist, so I often order black and I loved it. Additionally, this is a really young and happening spot! Lots of traffic in the heart of fountain square and the employee base matches the atmosphere quite well. It brings a lot of love into the Fountain Square area. Without BOVA, I feel a piece of this area would be missing. read more
Still very much impressed with this FTSQ coffee place, their shots are always on point. They know how to properly steam milk (even oat milk). Service is friendly and there are lots of little nooks to tuck away in so the ambiance can be bright and interactive or cozy and quiet. read more

Had to stop for some coffee on our way up to Chicago since we had left at 6am that morning. This place is off the highway! And it wasn't busy really at all. We found parallel parking on the side street for it. It's cute! Whomever decorated the place really thought it out, from the tiles, color palette, to the plant choices. I got a miel latte while my sister got the honey lavender latte. Amazing flavors! The espresso was light. We also ordered a blueberry muffin and the croissant egg thing that they warmed up for us. The baristas were in a good mood and super nice! Lots of outdoor seating too and murals if you want it for the 'gram. I'd come back again and buy a mug! read more

I have so much love for Bovaconti Coffee! It has such a quaint location in the heart of fountain square and is also near a handful of other cute shops and other restaurants. It's the perfect place to grab a coffee/tea and go for a stroll around the neighbourhood or on the Indianapolis cultural trail (which is conveniently located across the street). Seating inside tends to fill up pretty quickly as it is a popular spot to get some work done or meet up a friend, but there is a large outdoor patio on the side that is spectacular for the warmer months. Everything on the menu is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Beware. I frequently order the Tiger Eye (which is chai and espresso) but all of their lattes are unbeatable. Non-dairy milk options are also available (such as oat and almond milk) for an extra charge. Parking: free! All parking in fountain square is free :) read more

I was so excited to check out Bovaconti in Fountain Square during my teaching prep period. I teach at the nearby middle school, so it probably goes without saying that sometimes a Friday pick-me-up is needed when I get a spare moment. In full disclosure, I have been here a while ago, but I got a hot chocolate back then so I knew it was time to get a "big girl drink" to review. One thing about this place is that the parking can be a little frustrating depending on the time of day. Luckily I was able to get a space right out front, but the last time I went it was a bit more frustrating. Immediately walking in, I love the aesthetic of the shop. It has a very clean and sleek vibe instead of the typical rustic coffee shop vibe that most places in Indy have. I tend to feel less overwhelmed by the clean aesthetic. Their merchandise was soooo cute, and I was tempted to pick up a travel coffee mug. They also have a fridge that serves food from Yamallama Delicatessen which I have had before and really enjoy. If it had been closer to lunchtime, I probably would've picked something up. The food was around $7-$8 so not expensive, but I am not sure how substantial they are. The first thing I noticed on the menu was their Kombucha on tap. I LOVE when kombucha is served from the tap. It's so much fresher and tastes better in my opinion. However, I really wanted to try coffee, so I plan to get the kombucha next time! I decided to order an iced Spanish Latte. The barista who checked me out was very friendly! The latte with oat milk substituted for whole milk was $6. Not the *best* price I will admit, but I've paid more for a latte before too. I added a tip bringing my total to $7. Here's the thing. I don't mind paying $7 at a local coffee shop. However, I also want to be AMAZED by my drink when I pay that much. I will admit that I wasn't in love with the latte. I was expecting something just slightly sweeter. I've had Spanish lattes at other places before, and they always remind me of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I was excited about that taste in this latte, but it was more like cinnamon on buttered toast that could use a touch of sugar. Regardless, I will be returning to try the kombucha. I believe that every place deserves at least two chances, so I am hoping that I love the kombucha more than I love the latte! I also would love to try their iced mochas and a honey lavender latte at some point! read more

Bovaconti is my favorite mid-day coffee pick-me-up spot in all of Indy! The staff are the nicest ever and so obliging. I saw something on the ice drink menu and immediately asked if they can make it but change the syrups to sugar free and make it hot, not iced. They were faster than the Eat-Mor-Chikin place to say "My Pleasure!" I have been here more than I'd like to admit and every time I am 100% satisfied with my drinks. Also, the ambiance is perfect to help wake you up. It's not excessively loud and the way the voices bounce off the walls makes it perfect to softly wake you up when needed. It's almost like white noise to calm your thoughts. I'm completely obsessed with Bovaconti Coffee and recommend it to everyone. read more

I love Ethiopian bright roasts & was so pleased to find an Italian-inspired coffeeshop would have that for me! Definitely a dynamic spot with an assortment of roast options as well as a beautiful array of health tonics in their grab n go section (Cactus Rose fizzy water, y'all! & Vybes CBD drinks) Wish I lived closer so I could swing in all the time. We loved our lattes & whole bean bag of coffee!!! Also important to note that service was SO SO FRIENDLY at like 7a on a Sunday!!!!! Amazing vibes - thank you guys!!! read more

I think I've found my new favorite coffee shop!!! I love the decor and interior. It reminds me of Felix Roasting Co. in New York City with the pink decor. I got the tall Spanish latte, which was very yummy. It came in a black chic coffee sup. I believe the coffee cup with the Bovaconti logo is the short size. The barista was super nice and friendly. Service was also very fast. It was quite busy on a Saturday morning. But I was able to get a table to myself. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. read more

Ambiance is really chill, the decor and style of this local coffee shop is one of my favorites in town! Service is always fast and friendly, and you can't beat the drinks here! Love that they partner with local artists too to creat beautiful artwork on the cups! They do a lot for the displaced population in Fountain Square too, which they never boast about, they just do because they love the neighborhood and take care of its people. I really loved my first visit Bovaconti! A friend and I sat out on the little patio for a handful of hours and it was wonderful. I had a golden milk made with almond milk. (Cost: just shy of $7.) It had a little more kick to it than some others I've tried (probably from the black pepper)! It was a nice, warm drink that I'd totally get again. Later on, I ordered a green rooibos tea. (Cost: $3.82 for a small size.) It's a Hubbard and Cravens herbal tea, and it was really good, too. I'd get it again sometime! The vibe of Bovaconti is really fun! There are patterns and colors inside and out. My favorite was the flamingo patterned wallpaper in the bathroom paired with green tile. Plus, they have a variety of non-dairy milks and even had gluten free and vegan treats! And the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back to Bovaconti for more tea! read more

I love this spot! The coffee is amazing - if you're wanting something special try the Cafe Miel. So good & a perfect little pinch of spice. The decor is awesome, the people are cool & the service is great. Oh and another thing for the anxious people out there.. the bathrooms have two locks so you don't have to wonder if you're getting walked in on haha. read more
Bovaconti is a fabulous study spot. The interior is nicely decorated and they have a great patio for when the weather isn't freezing. They have a wide variety of caffeinated and non-caffeinated drinks. I love their rosa soda and matcha. I think they could do with a few more indoor tables since the space is so popular, but I understand that they are limited by the space. It's also dog friendly which is awesome :) read more
