My go to spot for americanos when I'm working in Indy. The staff is always friendly and quick to make drinks even during rushes. If you're downtown this is a worthwhile visit for their classic coffee drinks. I find they're more consistent than other places I've tried and don't have to worry that my coffee will taste like water. There isn't much seating except for one picnic style table and a couple chairs but most people I've seen here are taking their drinks to go. read more

I've been trying to come here for a long time. Finally WNBA Weekend I was able to try it. They had 3 special drinks for the weekend. I chose the "22" which was a cold vanilla latte with cherry foam. It is probably one of my favorite cold lattes now! It was so good!! I like how they had little WNBA sleeves with all the teams logos on them. I also liked that even though I ordered a cold drink I still got a sleeve. Some places never give you one. Georgia Street Grind is located off of you guessed it Georgia Street. They had so much set up for the game right outside their door. They have some seating inside and if you buy a tumbler you get a free drink! They had a lot of different muffins to choose from too! I chose the carrot cake as that's not a common muffin flavor you find at coffee shops. They had I think 3 other flavors of muffins. It was good! Now, I know what to get when I go there! It was a chilly day and I knew I needed something soothing, warm, and with some caffeine. The Tiger Eye was just that. Truly unlike any drink I've ever had before and I think all coffee shops should add this to their menu. The chai tea is aromatic, spiced, and sweet. Both team members were remarkably friendly and eager to help. I opted for the caramel macchiato made with oat milk and the drink was very good. It could have been a bit hotter but overall was a good drink and if you worked nearby this coffee shop you wouldn't mind checking it out a couple times a week. Several different latte options and regular coffee available, as well, and all in all it's a good coffee shop. I expected a cute coffee shop and Georgia Street Grind turned out to be a grab and go coffee spot right beside Hooters. The location is extremely convenient right beside circle center mall. I planned to meet a friend and while we grabbed a small side table and ordered an extremely good Americano, somehow it was so uncomfortable since it was early morning and we couldn't walk to the mall. Finally made it to this coffee shop for the downtown crowd! It's easy to miss tucked in a small store front on Georgia Street between Hooters and Spaghetti Factory, but this place is worth seeking out for your caffeine needs. They ramped up with specialty beverages and extra hours during Gen Con, and the creative Latte I had was so good. Their hours are more limited usually, but I can't wait to see what's on their normal menu! There's not a lot of seating but you could grab a coffee and sit for a minute, but I wouldn't say this is a place for camping out and working. There's on large table in the middle that could be a shared table and a couple other chairs. It would definitely be a great place to grab a coffee and go hang out on Georgia St! read more

First time in Indy on a work trip and this cafe hits the spot. The barista suggested to me 'Cafe Miel' - a latte with cinnamon and honey. I asked for Oatmilk and it turned out delicious. Definitely loved the flavors of cinnamon and honey together. I also had one of the blueberry muffins and that was pretty good as well. They get these muffins from a company in Queens, NY. Wow! What a gem located in downtown Indy that has became an instant favorite. I had some time to spend downtown while waiting on a sneaker release and had a craving for some quality coffee. After a quick search I realized that Georgia Street Grind was not only the closest option but the best option as well. Upon entering I was greeted so warmly it was as if I was a long time friend. After looking at the menu for a few seconds I asked what were some popular/favorite items that they offered. The first thing he said was the Tiger's Eye, and explained how they make theirs, and it sounded amazing. I substituted the milk to oat to compliment the flavors even more and it did not disappoint. The drink was sensational and would go downtown just for that, it's truly special how they make it. I will most certainly be back and will recommend this place to any coffee aficionado. read more

A group of friends and I were in town for The Gospel Coalition Women's Conference for the weekend and we are so glad we came here. We were there around the same time as the Olympic Trials and the service was still very quick. The space itself is pretty small, there was a bench to sit and there was a fan but it was pretty warm (there were also a lot of people). Very impressed with Georgia Street Grind! A very small and adorable coffee shop on George St. in downtown Indy. Parking was normal downtown street parking. I don't think you can actually park on Georgia street but you can park around the block. I was impressed by all the different syrup options they had! They had like 15 different flavors which makes it easy for anyone to find a flavor they will enjoy. The shop was small and didn't have any seating, so definitely a grab and go coffee shop. The employee who helped me was friendly and helpful! I ended up getting a Raspberry with White Chocolate Latte and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!! read more

So glad I've found this place! I was in Indy for GenCon and my usual coffee place was closed during the con. I REALLY did not want to go to Starbucks for my morning coffee. A friend recommended this place, and it did not disappoint! It's a small joint right next to the Omni Hotel, and they even had a menu just for GenCon.
