Bow Tie Café in Mt. Adams offers gourmet espresso, specialty teas, and delicious bistro fare in a warm, cozy setting. With plenty of indoor seating, it's the perfect spot to study, relax, or catch up with friends. Their seasonal lattes are still on the menu, so be sure to stop in and see what's brewing in the heart of Mt. Adams. The service was great too very friendly staff.

One of my favorite places to enjoy a latte. Charming neighborhood with a very peaceful vibe. Very dog friendly area.

The cutest, quaint cafe in Mount Adams. It was a chilly day so we sat inside, but it looked like room for outdoor seating when it's warm. This cafe is sunken in, so you're slightly lower than street level - very charming but also casual and relaxed. A little unassuming, even! The staff was very friendly, welcoming us as we entered and happy to recommend and explain. I got The Rachel, which is similar to a Reuben. Fresh lettuce/cabbage, thousand island dressing was great, and the bread also very fresh. 10/10 would recommend it and I would absolutely return to this cafe when I'm back in Cincinnati! It's a gem!

Bow Tie Cafe was the first stop for my husband and I during our recent babymoon in Cincinnati. It had been forever since I was last in Mount Adams, and stopping here was a great first introduction. We went inside and ordered at the counter. The barista didn't seem too enthused to serve us, but the service was fast and correct -- can't argue with that. I got hot chai latte, which was great on the drizzly, cool Cincy day, and we shared a pesto chicken salad sandwich sitting at one of the outdoor tables, near the Father Quinn fountain on the steps by this coffee shop. The salad had great flavor to it. I love chicken salad but find that it can often be bland. This one wasn't. And the outdoor seating area was so charming. You can look out over the entire street. On a good weather day, this would be the ideal spot to read a book, with the sound of the fountain in the background. If I lived in this area, I would be at Bow Tie Cafe all the time. Such a great find!

Nice cafe right in the heart of Mt. Adams. Mt Adam's continues to be one of my favorite neighborhoods in the entire city, so I'm extremely happy they have a coffee shop in it. Every time I stop in here the service is friendly and the drinks are made exact to order. They have a decent amount of indoor seating and a few tables outside when the weather is nice. Ive seen quite a few people "working from home" here. I've only ever had the food once, but plenty of people order it when I'm in and it all looks fresh and made to order. Parking can be the only downfall of coming to Mt. Adams. They do have a parking garage nearby for a few bucks.

Vibes: cozy, charming coffee shop with a variety of counter seating from window counter to long table bench with upbeat instrumentals playing overhead Tasting notes: Baklava latte: very strong vanilla and honey flavors while not so much almond; on the sweeter side with not a super strong coffee taste Breakfast quinoa bowl with bacon: served with a medium-hard fried egg; appreciated the bacon being hot and crispy as well as a bit chewy, a nice contrast to the raw tomatoes and spinach; avocado slices were perfectly ripe Avocado toast: loved the crispiness of the toasted English muffin; surprised by the savoriness of this sandwich Other thoughts: - Friendly staff - Love the extensive drink menu - Love that there are 12 oz and 16 oz options for the specialty lattes - Will take advantage of online ordering next time Impression: will most definitely return to grab a latte before either settling down at the window to do some work or head out to walk around Mt. Adams!

From the moment I sat down at the bar, owner Matt and the bartenders made me feel genuinely welcome. They took the time to learn my name, offer recommendations, and check in throughout the evening without ever being overbearing. It's a rare gift to make a solo guest feel seen while still giving them space to enjoy their own company. The food was outstanding. I ordered the baked brie with the honeycomb (trust me, get the honeycomb) and every bite was delicious. The combination of warm brie, puff pastry, honey, and nuts was incredible. Matt's wine recommendation was equally spot on. What impressed me most, though, was the atmosphere. Ripple strikes the perfect balance between sophisticated and comfortable. Whether you're on a date, catching up with friends, or simply enjoying a quiet evening alone, you'll feel right at home. I arrived as a first-time guest and left feeling like a regular. I've made my way through the entire menu (food and drinks), and there honestly isn't a single item I wouldn't recommend. Everything is consistently spot on every single time. That kind of reliability is hard to find, and it's exactly why I keep coming back. That said, a few personal favorites stand out. The goat cheese flatbread appetizer is a non-negotiable. It's the kind of dish you order "for the table" but secretly don't want to share. The cacio e pepe and pasta rustica are also incredible and always hit. As for drinks, the seasonal espresso martini is always a go-to and never disappoints. But my personal favorite is either the regular old fashioned or, when I'm feeling myself, the wagyu old fashioned... especially if Scott is behind the bar. He clearly knows what he's doing, and it shows. The service is always warm, attentive, and consistent, which makes the whole experience even better every time. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, and a bartender who takes his craft seriously. I'll definitely be back (again...and again).

Pasta was a vegetarian offering but not if you want some protein. Very popular space that look us weeks to get into. With so many local Italian options I believe I will try another one.

We had a Chardonnay and a Bellevue pizza along with an apple dessert pizza and some meatballs as an appetizer. The pizza was great. Generous toppings, nice sauces, thin but not crispy crust. The apple pizza was okay. Dare I say on par with CiCi's apple pizza, only smaller and much more expensive. The meatballs were tasty, decent marinara. But the balls were small. For the price I expected something bigger. Service was adequate. The dining room was comfortable. We found street parking right in front. Not sure if they have a lot. I was genuinely excited to see solid options, and I'd absolutely go back just to work my way through more of them. I ordered the Vegan Chardonnay pizza -- bianca sauce, roasted garlic, roasted mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, vegan cheese, and rosemary. I'm usually not a white sauce person, but this one completely won me over. It was rich, flavorful, and balanced in a way that made every bite interesting without feeling heavy. The crust was also excellent -- that perfect mix of airy and crisp. Bonus: the leftovers reheated surprisingly well in a dry pan on the stove. The only downside was the garlic... and I mean seriously heavy. I smelled like garlic for a full 24 hours afterward, despite brushing, mouthwash, showering, and mints. Not subtle. Still, I'd order it again without hesitation. Worth it.
