Two stars for the total experience. Because my barista (the cashier at the moment) was snotty to me from the moment I said hello. There were three other baristas that would have been so much better in this position. They were friendly and normal. This is a great coffee shop with coffee, pastries and other things to eat. But while I was using my computer, I wasn't enjoying being there because of the coffee ordering experience. read more

Nice shop here in Lawrenceburg that I discovered today - lots of natural light, they roast their own beans, and have a lot of the standards - lattes, cold brew, macchiatos, etc. Also have a nice selection of sandwiches, I tried one of the paninis, and it was great. I think I discovered (by recommendation of good friend), a delightful new coffee shop. Oh my goodness! First off, the folks that work here are super friendly and wildly patient. I had the hardest time selecting an item from the menu (they have so many delightful options). The latte I ordered was simply outstanding. It was so rich in flavor and creamy I can't even believe it was made with skim milk. It was an absolute indulgence. The atmosphere is so charming complete with plants in the windows (hello cleaner air and kitschy atmosphere), but the bright teal chairs, and the shelves upon shelves of delightful local products. I had an apple pecan salad. It was simply prepared, fresh and a nice side-salad size. Perfect for snacking. Last. Not only is this place simply amazing top to bottom, but the food is very reasonable priced. Instead of focusing on huge portions, it's simply, high quality, freshly prepared food. This coffee spot is so relaxing and inviting. I sat and sipped my iced coffee and enjoyed the ambience. I went to the patio area and took some pictures as it was very inviting and such relaxing atmosphere. They definitely get the comfort aspect, right! I did purchase their chocolate chip cookie. I was not a fan at all of this. It was super dry and not very much taste. Maybe that's not the norm, but it was my experience that day. A lot of people were purchasing lunch takeout. I would try that next time I'm in town. Great coffee, vibe, and atmosphere. Very very relaxing! They have a full wall of products for sale. Some were fair trade and some were handmade. Nice coffee shop right in downtown Lawrenceburg. Came in on a Sunday morning right when they opened up. They had a few employees working and they were all very friendly and welcoming. There was plenty of parking right in front of the building. There is also plenty of seating inside, so even on a busy morning you'll still probably be able to snag a table. They do have an outdoor patio for seating too. They have a decent sized drink menu, food options, and even have beer, wine & cocktails available. I got a Cold Brew coffee and the homemade Cinnamon Roll. The Cold Brew coffee was $5 which is pretty normal price for cold brew at most coffee shops. You can tell it's made fresh. The Cinnamon Roll was homemade and plenty for two people to share. My only recommendation would be to warm it up when serving it in house vs getting it to go. read more

Quaint little place in what I would call downtown Lawerenceburg. We were in town for the Hollywood Dance Jam and just wanted a place to grab lunch and found this place. I got the Spicy Club Panini. It wasn't anything special and something you could easily make at home, but it was good. My wife got the garden salad and the soup of the day was the stuffed pepper soup. The salad wasn't anything special but was good. She said could tell the soup was homemade and was very good. The staff were really busy (probably because of all the dancers in town, but they were handling it well and were very friendly. I would imagine it would have a very good coffee shop vibe if there weren't as many people hanging around. If we ever come back to town, we would definitely be back. Also one of the better hot Matchas I've had. read more

I really wanted to love this place. It has a more modern aesthetic than a lot of the spots in this 'burg--Lawrenceburg. We went there for a little light breakfast and I ordered the avocado toast. The young woman behind the counter asked if I wanted bacon on it for an extra two bucks. I said I'd take it if she could make the bacon extra crispy. She said that would not be a problem. As I wrapped up the order--a latte and yogurt parfait for my wife--I asked if we should just grab a seat and if someone would deliver the food and drinks to us. She said yes...so I added 20 percent tip via the touch screen. I no sooner tapped the screen and she corrected herself and said she'd call me back to the counter to retrieve my own items. Great. Nice switcharoo there, kid. I was called to the counter three times! First, it was to first get my wife's coffee, then my chai latte, then the food. Totally absurd. I was running around that joint like I was a waiter again and should have asked them for a gratuity at that point. The food/drinks: My wife said the yogurt parfait was nothing special, and even though she's not a coffee snob--she has no issues with basic Starbucks--she said the latte was unimpressed. Back to the avocado toast and that extra crispy bacon: Once I picked it up, I saw a few limp strips of bacon on each piece and asked if they could heat/cook it again. The two workers said they couldn't because it's just the way it comes. Again, great switcharoo. Then there was this fun bonus: there was no avocado to be found on it--it was a light smear of guacamole. Ugh. So much for spending at a small local business. read more

My plain drip dark roast coffee was strong and flavorful without any bitterness. I was disappointed to see they don't offer much for breakfast. The only menu items in the "Breakfast-y" section of the menu -- which I completely overlooked due to the lack of caffeine in my system -- are a bagel with cream cheese; bagel with ham/bacon, egg, and cheese; or avocado toast. An unexpected find in a small town. The coffee is very good. I ordered dark roast with oat milk. They have a variety of sandwiches. I enjoyed the Turkey, bacon and avocado panini. The dining area is spacious. Ambiance is relaxing and comfortable. There are items for sale on shelves along the wall. I bought locally sourced honey that I enjoyed later. To say that Dearborn County could use a good coffee shop would be an understatement so I'm excited to see this cute little shop open in Lawrenceburg. After hearing great reviews from a few friends, I decided to try it out. The shop has a cute and modern aesthetic with plenty of seating. I ordered the Chai tea latte and a poppyseed muffin. The muffin was moist and tasty. However, the latte was terrible. It tasted like dirty water. I'm hoping maybe there was just a mistake made with my order and that is not truly what they taste like. As with any new business, it will take some time to work out the kinks. I'm confident this place can adjust and overcome. I don't leave a lot of reviews anymore; covid sort of got me out of the habit. But this place really deserves some praise. First, of course, the coffee is excellent--sort of the bare minimum for a coffee shop. But there's so much else here to like! The staff is great, and there's enough of them that the tables are always clean, your order is always prompt and correct, and no one's a snob about the lingo. The space is lovely, indoors and out, with a carefully curated selected of art and gifts for sale at reasonable prices. The menu is small but everyone can find something they like and it's all very carefully prepped. It feels good to patronize a small sole proprietorship.
