On Monday, Pep Boys called and said the tires weren't there and asked me to reschedule for Tuesday at 11 AM. When I arrived Tuesday at 11, the front-desk lady told me they had already sold two of the tires I paid for and had to reorder them. She said the tires would arrive in about an hour... but I ended up waiting five hours in the shop. This was extremely frustrating and shows poor management and communication. If the tires I paid for were sold to someone else, and if new ones weren't going to be ready on time, they should have called me so I didn't have to drive 30 minutes and waste my entire day.

I noticed too that even when Bobby, the owner, isn't in the shop, his employees still check-in on me while I am waiting for me work to be done. The last time I was there, I had to wait half an hour or so for a part to come in. While that employee was taking care of that, another one came and asked me if I was doing okay and being helped. That's really good service, and it's nice that he thought to do that even while his boss was not there to see that. I don't know if they still offer this, but when I first starting using Leading Edge Auto last year, they offered a warranty through TechNet (which I did use once.) Definitely my mechanic of choice.
