Around five o'clock, I came to see if my vehicle was ready, only to see that it was still sitting in the parking lot with the spare tire on. I spoke with the service representative, who explained that my tire was already on the rim and it should be finished shortly, considering they close at 7 o'clock. I showed back up at 6:32, and my car still was not finished. At this point, I just wanted to take my keys and get my vehicle serviced elsewhere. I understand that things run behind schedule, but at least call and communicate that with the customer! So, I requested that my keys be returned to me so that I could leave. I was informed that because my tire was already on the rim, they couldn't release the keys to me without charging me something. I didn't understand why my tire was on the rim in the first place when they hadn't even serviced my vehicle yet and were currently working on other vehicles before mine. Nevertheless, the service rep reached out to her manager, and I was informed that I would have to pay the total price for the tire anyway since it was already on the rim, but who told them to do that if my vehicle was not being serviced? Make it make sense. Nevertheless, this will be my last time coming to this tire shop. There are plenty of others in Newport News. Oh, and the vehicle didn't get finished until a little after eight o'clock. I had no issues with the service rep as she did the best that she could, and it was no fault of hers that the vehicles were behind schedule, but waiting for over 7 hours is ridiculous no matter how you look at it.

I would say it is also not a good place for black ppl, woman and jeep owners. I did many state inspections with my wrangler at other places and i never had issues like this...smh. First my black husband brought my car there and a person there told him, that he have all my rubber ducks (a jeep thing) off from my dashboard, with seeing that creates a mess problem on my dashboard. Very strange cause i never had to take them off, but "his" inspector wants this. Ok...them they replaced the front marker light bulb for 64$. Seems i drive around now with a golden light bulb....haha. Somebody (maybe not completely sober) but the sticker on my front window (you will see the picture) ...i only hope they dont do the repairs crooked like this. As i called the "manager" he talked constantly over me and explained me that i anyway act against the law by having rubber ducks on my dashboard. I should come and he fix the sticker. But as i asked who will pay my time and gas ...he told me that he needs gas to come to work too ...so...what is wrong in this picture. I took my SUV to Firestone Tire in Hidenwood Shopping Center in Newport News to get a slow leak in…read moremy tire repaired. In the process of removing the tire from the hub, they slashed a slit in the sidewall of the tire. I was told that since the SUV is AWD, I would have to replace all 4 tires at a cost of over $1000 (nice try). I checked with Volvo and was told I only need to replace the 2 that are on the same axel. Firestone told me there was a sale on two tires coming soon and that discount was better than the minimal compensation they were offering, for the perfectly good tire they damaged. I decided to take my business else ware. At least they did not charge me for the tire repair.
