Sadly the service itself was poor. On arrival as I approaching the bay, almost the entire staff was outside talking to what looked like a visiting family. I slowed for them to direct me to which bay to pull in to, no direction was given so I decided for myself. I pulled my car into the bay and a tech greeted me and ask if I was here for an oil change. I said yes and he began with the vehicle inspection. I told them not to check my battery cause it always blows a fuse. I notice there were no monitors to observe work going on under your vehicle, but I can tell work had begun for I could feel the car moving from removing the oil plug. Another car pulled into the bay next to me. This is important to know for later. As I waited, there was no conversation with me from any of the employees, what I did notice was a lot of joking around and loud talking. One tech, who was suppose to be working on the car next to me, start laughing hysterically by someone another employee said, that he walked away from the vehicle and outside the bay. I also notice a bicyclist approach the bay, asking for some air in his tire. They wouldn't obliged his request but did direct him to another employee in the rear of the store. Not sure if they helped him out or not. I notice work had stoped on my car and the employees were just standing around. I know the oil had been drained but not replaced with new oil yet. I notice work on the car in the bay next to me was progressing along, a lot of attention was being giving on that car. At least 10 mins had passed and I ask an employee, (Kimberly, who I later found out was the store manager), "what is the status?" Wit a polite, but "sassy" response, she said " we only have one person working down there, gotta kinda divvy it up between vehicles. You understand?" I nod that I did. The there was a slight role of the eyes away from me. Imagine that, brand new store and they are under-manned already. A little more time had passed and the car in the bay next to me was finishing up. Meanwhile oil had just completed being put in my car. The other car left and I was still there, Remember, I was there way before that vehicle but its service was finished first. All I was getting was an oil change, that car next to me got an oil change, cabin filter changed and something else done and was still complete before me. My service was finally complete, I was lucky to receive a 20% discount from an e-mail today, but that did not negate the unprofessionalism there. As I was leaving and was being directed out, I said have a good day, he responded, "take care man!" I don't know what it is about Valvoline Instant Oil Change service but for some reason they keep calling me "man!' I guess since I'm an African-American male its cool. This is not something new from Valvoline, I have experienced this type of unprofessionalism form other stores. Was not expecting this from this store for it is new. I reluctantly give two stars cause it is a good looking store, coupons are alway available and Valvoline is the best oil in my humble opinion. The staff here is unprofessional and is a direct reflection of the manager Kimberly. Service is slow and they are understaffed. I will not be going back to this particular store.

Finding a good and trustworthy auto shop is always tricky. After doing some research, I took my…read morecar here and was thankful for such a quick appointment. Making an appointment was fast and easy and customer service was great up to this point. So far so good. I made my appointment for 8am for a diagnostic and was told i could expect to hear something back around noon. After not hearing anything, I called close to 1pm and was told my car was next for service. When 4pm came around and I didn't hear anything I called again only to find out my car still wasn't looked at. At this point I was told to expect my car to be kept overnight but only because I asked about it. I was pretty frustrated considering I had an early appointment, all I needed was a diagnostic and for the simple fact I had to call for all updates not to mention having to now coordinate a ride home. I called again first thing in the morning and was then told I would have answers around 9. I was convinced then that my car wasn't looked at, at all the day prior. I did get a call shortly after 9 and I was apologized to and did get the answers I needed on my car. When I picked up my car, they were super apologetic and assured me this was not the normal way they conducted business. Because of the inconvenience, I was not charged for the diagnostic. While I was thankful, I was really disappointed with my whole experience. I understand things happen but good communication makes all the difference. Maybe my case was really just a one off, but this trip made me want to take my business elsewhere.

We figured they did great with fixing my car a few months back when my brakes went out so we'd go there again. Well to say the least they put a new starter in but now the display in my car isn't working it's just a black screen. No radio, no gps no nothing. We told them about it and the guy came out and messed with the fuse box and said nothing they can do. I called them this morning and explained everything and the first thing that came out of this persons mouth was and I quote "It's not our fault". Now I don't know about anyone else but it was working fine when they got my car and now it's not working at all.

Last year they told me everything is OK but should clean head lights for next year inspection and I did it. I didn't drive this car more than 200 miles last year so nothing could change but they told me that 2 engine mount need to be replaced and rear shocks to pass inspection. To fix that they wanted close to $2000. Plus it was other things to fix and total would be about $3000? I told them to reject inspection. After 1 hr I went to pickup my car and they charge me for oil change and tire rotation and state inspection. When I came to car I noticed that they didn't touch tires! I new that because wheel cover plates were in same bad position to cover air access to tire and I strictly mention about that in front when I left car. So unreliable and not honest service! I am wondering if they changed oil at all?
