I have trust issues from past experiences with other dentists, so I haven't seen a dentist since.

You know, lying there, the techs and docs poking around in your mouth just probing for that little painful jab that indicates some sort of decay. That said, they make it as easy, convenient, and painless (as it can be) for you. I'm a wuss when it comes to pain anymore. The older I get the more I whine about pain. They do you right and keep you from feeling anything (mostly!). Also, a super convenient side note I'd add is they send you e-mails reminding you of your appointment! They even send "invites" that you can put on your calendar on your computer. You don't even have to think about your appointment. They do it all for you.

I have had many dentists during my life (I'm medium-not old lol) and he is by far one of the very best. I feel so comfortable and confident with the quality of his work. Everyone we've interfaced with so far has been so kind and you just get a feeling they care about their patients. We were able to get caught up on new x rays and fillings within just a couple of weeks with Dr. Travis Hackney- who was so quick, yet very conscientious- no pain at all. And because we are close by we got in for cleanings super quickly when other patients had to reschedule. The dental hygeinest, Crystal, was so nice, thorough, and non-judgemental. She gave us great tips to keep up our hygiene regimen and avoid future problems. The office staff are lovely, and have been consistently great in explaining what our insurance covers and giving us accurate estimates ahead of time. I couldn't be happier with our new local dentist. They found, after numbing my gum and a few quick races with their brand new little x-ray gun (which makes it incredibly easy by the way) that there were a few small cracks in the tooth, but actually no cavity. Since I have terrible insurance right now and couldn't really afford to pay for the service, Dr. Choi said "no problem. We can defer this and there will be no charge for today." it is so refreshing these days when so much in life is so transactional. They then reccomended a different, more intensive cleaning, which was not covered by insurance. When they told me how much it would cost, I declined that procedure. They then declined to provide the covered cleaning. So, I essentially paid $900 to have a dentist decline to clean my teeth. Very frustrating. I know they don't provide this level of service to everyone bit this was my unfortunate experience.
