I seem to only come here in extreme weather - on a freezing day on January, we were able to stay warm from the heaters that blast from the ceiling, even though you're 60% outdoors. However, when I went in the heat wave last week thinking they'd surely have just as strong air conditioning, I was sweating like crazy. There doesn't seem to be any air conditioning in the bays, and the fans rotated and only hit you briefly before moving on - not super helpful. I wish there was a better way to regulate the temperature in the heat. The appetizers are amazing here despite my incorrect assumption that it'd be mid bar food. I, unprompted, will rave about the queso here to anyone who even so much as whispers the word "Topgolf". The pizza was kind of meh, it reminded me of middle school cafeteria pizza (which hey, sometimes I'm in the mood for that, but it was not super fresh seeming?) We got a big assorted platter and the Mac n cheese bites were yummy, although I wish they didn't have a bit of kick to them. They really need a marinara sauce to come on the platter to dip them in though- the salsa it came with wouldn't go (and wasn't amazing), and the ranch also on the platter felt like creamy overkill to pair with them. The pretzel bites with cheese dip are the perfect size, never too dry or salty, and the dip is incredible, just make sure you eat it before it cools and gets harder because it's significantly less yummy that way. The donut bites with syringes of different fillings (what a fun format!) are a MUST, my coworkers and I have almost gotten into fights over the last shot of creme filling LOL I got the Tito's Mango Frozen Lemonade and it was fantastic, not too boozy (which was perfect for my needs) and helped cool me down. I always want a Jack and Coke when I'm here for some reason, but they only have Pepsi, and it's just not the same (and far inferior, let's be honest). The games are fun, although the instructions on the new soccer game they added for the World Cup and the Angry Birds games are not very clear and left our party confused. I've never handled the booking process, but it seems the standard time slot is 2 hours, after which the screens promptly boot you off. This never feels like quite enough time and I always wish we could stay for 2.5 or 3 hours! The parking lot is spacious and bathrooms are always clean. It can be a little pricy but they run promos. This would be a great spot for a birthday party, friend reunion, or I've been on multiple work team bonding trips.

The indoor restaurant and special occasion room are really nice, but the locker rooms/bathrooms are in need of some TLC as they're showing their age. Note: They are *strict* on keeping your shirt tucked in at all times. It's a bit contrary to the more relaxed vibe, but it is what it is.

The strawberry layered tres leches was really rich, sweet and indulgent tonight- so good. We also had the Andiamo and Bugsy Siegel. We're looking forward to trying more desserts. The comics are funny and friendly to speak with after the show. There are usually about 4 comics. They have a DJ for late night after the comics. The atmosphere is comfortable and friendly. First off, the space is very accessible right on Mendon Road. It's a newer space owned by the same people that own Angelo's next door. There is good natural lighting, ample parking outdoors, TVs, and a full bar inside the event area. Also, since it's a newer build, the technology is updated with a sound system and enough outlets to charge different devices. The space itself is in the the same building as Angelo's, and separated by a wall from the Angelo's dining room, but the food is catered by the same kitchen. When walking in, there's a small area to the right with bathrooms and coat closet/storage. To the left is where the main event space is located, along with the bar inside. We were planning the shower out of state, so a lot of the communication with the owners was through email and phone. Working with the owners was super easy and they were very prompt in answering questions leading up to the day. The shower was on a Saturday morning, and the owners were kind enough to give us the space the night before to set up and bring in items so there was that much less to do in the morning. I felt they were so nice with accommodating all our requests from food, to utilization of space, to even last minute things that we didn't know we needed. Day of, they had enough staff on hand to set up tables and any other requests that we needed. They provided all the linen and utensils, as well as servers to bring the food out (since we did a buffet) and then later clean up. They do not allow outside caterers for food, but do allow outside dessert. For the amount of people we had, there was seating for everyone, plus tables for gifts/food/dessert and still some open area to get some games and activities going. We didn't need a bartender since it was a dry event, but as part of the rental, we were given unlimited soft drinks and water (woot!) Overall - really happy with the service and the space accommodations. I think it can serve a number of different types of events and it's a great location from an access standpoint. We thought it would be cool, based on our childhood memories. Proof you can never go back ... now, as an aunt and uncle to young kids, this was so far removed from how we had hoped. First of all ... as expected, the food was beyond bad. $21 for a large plain pizza ... Toppings on any sized pizza are $2.50 each!! That's right ... 10 pieces of mushrooms and pepperoni costs $5. Elios frozen pizza from the supermarket tastes like the French Laundry compared to the absolutely awful pizza here. Absolutely tasteless except for the bread. The salad bar looked so utterly pathetic. The games are super expensive ... and all very lame. You get about 30 seconds per ride, or game. There are no real video games ... it's all stuff that you have to sit in some contraption and shoot a laser gun ... or spin a wheel. No Pac Man ... etc. It is not cheap to add points to your game card. Speaking of which, there is no app. The only way to play the games is to buy a $2 plastic card ($4 if you want a lanyard). After figuring out that the car rides last 30 seconds, we wanted to leave. It's an additional $20 to let your kids go in the obstacle course area ... for 30 minutes. It's crowded and fun for about 5 minutes and then the kids get sick of it because it's so small. I remember when McDonalds used to have free playgrounds as good, or better, than this. Most of the machines were out of prize tickets. The place is crowded and there are people everywhere. The flow of the games is terrible and you are always bumping into other people. The place is filthy ... the staff doesn't wipe down the tables or machines/rides. The staff is few and far between and everything seems to require a long wait. To exchange our tickets was about 20 minutes and there was only one family in front of us. Beyond that, the atmosphere here is lame. It's lit with bright white flourescent lights and looks like a garage with video games. We hated it here and would not come back. There was absolutely no part of the experience that was enjoyable, other than leaving.
