Such a fun place to hang out with friends or coworkers! Service is usually quick and very attentive in the bay areas, although it seemed a little less so on my most recent visit. I seem to only come here in extreme weather - on a freezing day on January, we were able to stay warm from the heaters that blast from the ceiling, even though you're 60% outdoors. However, when I went in the heat wave last week thinking they'd surely have just as strong air conditioning, I was sweating like crazy. There doesn't seem to be any air conditioning in the bays, and the fans rotated and only hit you briefly before moving on - not super helpful. I wish there was a better way to regulate the temperature in the heat. The appetizers are amazing here despite my incorrect assumption that it'd be mid bar food. I, unprompted, will rave about the queso here to anyone who even so much as whispers the word "Topgolf". The pizza was kind of meh, it reminded me of middle school cafeteria pizza (which hey, sometimes I'm in the mood for that, but it was not super fresh seeming?) We got a big assorted platter and the Mac n cheese bites were yummy, although I wish they didn't have a bit of kick to them. They really need a marinara sauce to come on the platter to dip them in though- the salsa it came with wouldn't go (and wasn't amazing), and the ranch also on the platter felt like creamy overkill to pair with them. The pretzel bites with cheese dip are the perfect size, never too dry or salty, and the dip is incredible, just make sure you eat it before it cools and gets harder because it's significantly less yummy that way. The donut bites with syringes of different fillings (what a fun format!) are a MUST, my coworkers and I have almost gotten into fights over the last shot of creme filling LOL I got the Tito's Mango Frozen Lemonade and it was fantastic, not too boozy (which was perfect for my needs) and helped cool me down. I always want a Jack and Coke when I'm here for some reason, but they only have Pepsi, and it's just not the same (and far inferior, let's be honest). The games are fun, although the instructions on the new soccer game they added for the World Cup and the Angry Birds games are not very clear and left our party confused. I've never handled the booking process, but it seems the standard time slot is 2 hours, after which the screens promptly boot you off. This never feels like quite enough time and I always wish we could stay for 2.5 or 3 hours! The parking lot is spacious and bathrooms are always clean. It can be a little pricy but they run promos. We traveled in from CT for my birthday to have a fun night at Top Golf. I played in a TG league when I lived in Charlotte so I missed it. So glad we visited. The location has multiple levels, and they also have a nice inside bar with a huge screen TV, so it's perfect to watch sports if you're into that. This location does offer parking as well. Stopped by TopGolf Cranston with 2 friends and it was great experience we showed up without a reservation and had to wait an hour so we went shopping at the Tj maxx to kill time. I would make a reservation next time to avoid the wait. If you go from 10 PM to close it's $40 dollars an hour per bay which is good to know. We ordered the berry blast drink which was pretty good and was split amongst 2 of us. As for the vibe it was great and the playlist was good and service was very attentive for my group. Topgolf Rhode Island is a must go spot for late night fun or day time practice in all of Rhode Island. Pros: this is my first time at topgolf and was impressed with the amount of tee boxes available and service here was overwhelmingly good! It has an old style of bowling vibes that I like and gives me nostalgia with a newer age feel. They provide a good range of clubs from drivers of different lengths for all players and different irons ranging from pitching wedge, 4, 6, and 8. We had two lefty players and they also provided left handed clubs for them. The service was great and everything can be paid or ordered through the touch screens they provided. The games to play was awesome, challenging and provided variety. Our favorite was driving as far as possible and hitting the colored flags. Parking is abundant but can get crowded on busy weekend nights. Bathrooms are clean and found on each floor. Quick update to Topgolf. I love that you can pay and check-in on the app as it's super easy to do, and once you get there you head right to the bay. The different games are fun (Block Party is my fave) and their food is pretty good. I deducted a star this time as our machine ran out of balls, and it took a good 15min to (a) find our server and (b) wait for the ball refill. No extra time was added to our reservation. I finally visited the Topgolf and must say it was much more fun than I anticipated. Though it has multi levels,I would recommend level 3 as you can see the entire putting green. I also really liked how interactive each game was. As mentioned it's a pricey experience, but group packages or early play seem to be the most cost savings. Each bay is very spacious/clean and can accommodate 6 people. The staff were also very pleasant and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this Topgolf for a large group activity. read more

However, to hit balls, go with a bunch of people so the amount per bay isn't as bad. On a Friday night, the cost is $155 per bay for two hours. The clubs aren't great quality, but that's expected at a place like this. The food was surprisingly okay. The portion of their nacho appetizer was pathetic though. It was about 6 chips for $11. Visited Top Golf on Friday night, so much fun! I was reading the mixed reviews and trying to understand why so many low ones! I understand it's pricey, but with a group it's definitely reasonable! You get your own space for 2 hours, a waiter and you're outside all year round! It's an experience and not the Masters! :). Also - If you want to come and not spend a lot - then come earlier in the day - the bays are dynamically priced (like everything these days!). The whole building is very new and nice, and the indoor/outdoor environment was temperature comfortable even though we had temperatures hovering around freezing. There were heat lamps, plus heated seats. There were multiple game choices that were friendly to low level golfers such as myself. Overall good experience, came on Memorial Day. Very friendly staff, your host/hostess will even come over to you to tell you they are going on break and who will be covering for them. Food is a bit pricey and the top golf specials are as well, regular drinks are pretty average. The quality is great, I have the app on my phone and you can use it to control things in your bay, really gives it a premium high end feel. Nice couches to sit on too. I wish they offered longer than 2 hour slots a group of 6 you can usually only play 4-6 games, and depending on how many hits you take on the game your not getting much. 4/5 due to some glitches with software, and pricey drinks and food. Now this does not impact my review however it should be noted, Unfortunately they experienced a fire and a power outage (unknown if related). Power went out for 30-40 minutes then the fire alarm. We live in CT and had about an hour drive. Played for about 45min and had to leave. I don't know how much training the staff has had in this kind of incident hopefully moving forward they can be more prepared as we spent along time waiting to get our clubs out from them. read more

Honestly the best top golf experience we have had, and this is the fourth one we have been to. For one, they don't charge you to make a reservation; they only require a deposit. This isn't the case everywhere. You also get a discount if you reserve online. We didn't prepare well and actually didn't reserve a bay ahead of time, but we were still accommodated immediately. The place is clean, pretty spacious, and our server, Ari, was wonderful. I had 101 questions and/or requests, and she addressed them all. FYI that first responders and teachers get 10% off if you mention it. We did the $25 Game Day kickoff meal deal (up to 4 Pepsi drinks, flatbread, and pretzel nuggets), and it was a good deal for us 2. My little guy was dying to go to Top Golf! We decided to do this for his 8th birthday and dad's 46th back in March. It was a beautiful sunny day. I was really excited to check this place out and my brother in law was visiting from out of state with my nephew and he loves golf, so after doing some mild research we decided to bring the kids. I initially made two $20 reservations but missed them, which of course was my fault so no issue there. We decided to just walk in after missing our reservation online. When we arrived there was a decent number of people for a mid-week day but it was by no means busy at all. We let everyone know that this was our first visit there. The host told us we would be in bay 214 but we had no idea what that meant and he clearly saw us arrive with a 2 and 8 year old child. I was a little surprised at the disregard of having children in my party - as they placed us on the second floor of the facility. When we got to our bay we were both shocked by the lack of safety precautions in place. It appeared as though anybody could just seemingly run off the floor. It made both my brother in law and myself pretty nervous. IMHO it was a little careless and frankly dangerous for the host to place us where he did, especially considering it was a weekday & day time & there were plenty of open bays on the first floor- he should have saw the 2 kids and placed us on the first floor! However; we are parents who actually watch our children so we made sure to keep a good eye on the little one. We were also seated at a high top table- which again was NOT IDEAL for children. I did not even realize that certain golf bays had couches until we took a few walks around. Not sure if there was a price difference for the golf bay with the couch- but we would have paid the difference- but sadly this was NOT even offered to us as an option. The food was actually really good and I ordered a spiked lemonade- which was AMAZING! Our waiter/the person who explained everything to us- was pretty great too! My only issue is I thought there would be more for kids in general. Although others had told me it wasn't really for kids. Everyone had fun, but the two year old was a bit cranky, So Overall I liked the place but I feel as though my kids were not considered. I think we should have been placed on the first floor- for obvious safety reasons & It would have been nice to have been given the option of sitting at one of the couches - instead of the high top table. Also- I was shocked with the lack of things for children. Aside from a football table- there wasn't much else. It would be ideal to have a small game room- or outdoor corn hole? When it comes to food here, is sooo much better than many other places as an entertainment place. We are platinum members of Topgolf. I would suggest avoiding Tuesdays since they have a half-price deal, resulting in overcrowding. This is the first Topgolf I've visited and I had a really great experience the first time I've visited, and I've returned twice after that. The facility is really clean and the staff is super helpful and kind. The food is honestly pretty good, and I felt that it was reasonably priced considering typical prices at places like this. However, I just wish it was easier to get in contact with the staff at the Cranston location! This is definitely an overall Topgolf issue and not specific to the location, but it was really hard to get in touch with someone actually at the location when I tried to call with a question. read more

Paid my 5$ ONE TIME lifetime membership fee years ago. Never thought about it again. I play at any Topgolf regularly when I'm in a town that's got one. This one in particular is newish and it's running smoothly. Great experience. Food and drinks are pricey at all of them, but golf is an expensive sport so it comes with the territory. No dress code, wear whatever. No matter skill just have fun. The more people in your party the less you'll play. Two people, although still great for date nights, play more and you'll probably be a little tired and possibly sore the next day depending on your athleticism. A wonderful place to spend with my 13 and 11 year olds. They just love practicing hitting golf balls. And after seeing their knack, I broke down and scheduled a trading with one of their instructors. Patrick was his name. He is wonderful. My boys improved their swing with only one session. It's always nice to get a little something to eat while we golf but their prices are really expensive for the quantity and quality. Don't get me wrong, we are not looking for quality, but bring the prices down. The drink prices are also steep, if you ask me. I was bringing my boys in the mornings in the summer and we never had a scheduling problem. Additionally bc we went when they were 'slower', the wait staff gave us excellent service and attention. They are younger but they are always friendly and polite . In the fall and winter my boys have baseball and basketball so we slow down at top golf, but they can't wait to get back there again. Update: Top Golf reached out. We had a conversation regarding my family's experience. Top Golf employee, Cory, was very nice, listened, and proposed a resolution. I will be going back again, but with my eyes "wide open". I always round the tip up, but I will not be tipping on the golfing part.... this time. Companies can only improve if they are given information to help them improve. I do wish their computer system would section out the golf and membership fees from the food and drink section. I suspect that is part of the computer program they use, perhaps it can be done, maybe it can't. My spouse paid with credit card. I can only assume that the tip that they suggest included the ENTIRE bill, but I am not 100% sure. The email receipt, I have, was for the payment. I guess maybe this place serves a purpose for people who enjoy golf the same way Dave and Busters does for casual video game people. You buy a $5 life time membership for the privledge of being able to pay $44+ per hour to rent a "pod" where you can hit unlimited golf balls all the raise balconies. The time goes by pretty quick, which surprised me. I guess the better you are the faster you will hit balls. It's a good deal IF you come with a group because the pod costs the same per hour for 1 person or up to 6 people, but the $44 per hour is only until noon then it continues to go up as the day goes by. At this location the wait staff was very very nice but the man at the front desk wasn't that great. As we explained it was our first visit he offered very little info. Luckily the people upstairs at the pod were nice and informative. Not sure I'd come back based on the price but I guess it could be enjoyable for some people. They offer food and drinks but my assumption is that they are probably pricey even tho we didn't look at a menu. My 2 star review is based on the price and the main lobby desk staff.
