The Lake Zurich Bowlero is one of the best bowling alleys I have visited. The staff here is top notch and takes excellent care of their customers. I recently celebrated my birthday here with my family and manager Jenni and team member Brian made it extra special. Jenni brought me a cookie with a birthday candle, and Brian made an announcement to recognize my birthday which made me feel extra special. We had the 2 kiddos in tow for a Wednesday and learned that arcade games at Bowlero are 1/2 priced on Wednesdays.  Yaay for the lucky kiddos!  Anyway, I also found that the various Bowlero's in our vicinity have different hours on Wednesday, I guess due to local business demand.  This Bowlero opens 1pm-11pm on Wednesday, whereas the Bowlero Mount Prospect opens 2pm-11pm and the Bowlero Niles opens 4:30pm-11pm.  So we trekked up here as the earlier the better it was for us on this hot summer day.   Brian and Chris were the fine and helpful pair of staffers on duty and Brian explained the arcade workings for us as we've never been in a Bowlero (though the kiddos have) - checking the kiddo's card balances, the value of the games, showing us the remaining balance display, unjamming a machine when needed, etc. We had the arcade area to ourselves and the kiddos had an energetic blast for about an hour.  We loaded on $10 for each of them and they also each had about $8 on their existing cards.   So it seemed they spent about $36 in an hour and that seemed a bit expensive to me, especially for a 1/2 price Wednesday.  They did earn some trinklets with their ticket winnings though and these are dispensed from a self-service Prize Hub machine.  For what it's worth I remember getting an hour's worth of arcade entertainment for the 2 at Chuck 'N Cheese for $20, and we now have a basis for comparison anyway.  One of the kiddos said the arcade here is bigger than the one at Niles, and we also heard separately that the Buffalo Grove arcade is quite large also. As far as bowling here goes, they have 40 nice and shiny lanes. Weekday games are $6 and weekend games are $10.  Shoe rental is $6.  I don't see us bowling at a Bowlero but it could fit your family's interest or needs.  I'll go with 3 stars as Bowlero seemed about an average value from this experience, but the kiddos had a grand time in any event. read more

Super over priced bowling and shoes. Tried to make a reservation online for 20% discount but I couldn't use the gift cards we'd been gifted. I called and they said come in and we will take care of it. When we got there and asked about it the cashier just said "no" and couldn't care less when I said I had called ahead. Then when trying to use the kiosk to buy arcade credits I couldn't get the machine to work, despite a worker walking by several times seeing me trying to use the machine, when I finally flagged him down he was like "oh yeah it's not working come to the desk." Ok maybe put a sign on the machine or when you see me trying to use it let me know!? Really poor customer service! read more

I was bowled over by my experience at Bowlero! Going on a Tuesday afternoon ensures that there are no waits. We walked right in and were able to get a bowling lane right away. After getting our shoes and picking out several balls, we were able to enter our names and get right to the game. We enjoyed some adult beverages during our game. Between games we visited the snack bar for some lunch. We got the delicious chicken Love Me Tenders and Nacho Avalanche. The food was delivered hot and fresh to our lane along with another round of drinks. The food was good luck as I threw a strike on the next turn after eating! A tip is to start the game with bumpers because you can't add them after you've started. We should have used this as it would have helped our score as we were not the best bowlers. This is a very casual place to chat and enjoy drinks and food even when you are not bowling. The manager was very nice and made us feel welcome. The bowling alley is very clean and pleasant to play in. read more

My husband, two young grandchildren and I stopped in today for a game of bowling and the arcade games. "Jack"was managing the desk as well as the arcade and had things running incredibly smoothly despite the numbers of customers he was dealing with on a very, very busy day. The scoring may not be the most technology advanced, but the staff is friendly, the leagues are great and their Summer Pass is more than well worth it! read more

We had my daughter birthday party here the other day. The staff was great, manager took care of us, food wasn't bad, they even decorated a little for us with my daughter name lit up. Arcade was lacking and some games were out and didn't have much to start. Smelled like cigarettes in the arcade. They should put more credits on the card for the kids in my opinion when your spending almost $400.00. Other than the arcade stuff it was a great party and we had a great time. Not taken care of with dirty bathrooms and sewer gas a constant problem.

We come here and enjoy every time! Sometimes this place is slammed packed.... but sometimes you feel like you own the place and you're sitting here all by yourself and it feels like it's your personal bowling place. My kids really love the neon lights and how everything glows.....Also this might sound harsh but every bowling place stinks and this place doesn't!!! Really nice staff here.... I held my kids birthday party here, the place is very nice! Well kept, clean, and the staff was so nice and helpful. I got the birthday package that included unlimited bowling, arcade cards, food! I've been to the bowlero in Algonquin countless times. Love the drinks and being able to bowl and hangout with friends! When I saw that they replaced Brunswick with bowlero closer to my home I was so excited! The crew working here are excellent. They are very friendly and really try to make my bowling experience fun. Yes, sometimes do to the crowd service may be a bit slow but every chance they have , they will take the time to ask if you need anything and make you feel appreciated. This is your basic bowling alley. Went here with some friends on a Friday night and got a lane right away which was nice. There were five of us bowling and there were only four chairs at our table. It made socializing a bit challenging, but we made it work. The worst part is the stinky human waste smell that permeates the building. It seriously smelled like human feces were all over the place. When I spoke to the manager to let him know the smell was giving me a headache, he acknowledged the smell and said he hears complaints all the time. He mentioned that the pipes are old and problematic. Well, fix it then! What was also disappointing was the fact that the manager didn't seem to care that the smell had impacted me and made no effort to make it right. You just lost a customer. read more

I held a private event for about 20 people at the Deer Park location and was so pleased with every aspect of our evening! The facility was so bright and clean, the staff was friendly and attentive-making sure we had everything we needed. The food was good, served hot and my guests did not go home hungry!
