Came here today for the "Spring Break Special." Not a bad price for all you can bowl - including shoe rental. For a snack, we ordered the chicken fingers and fries and two soft drinks. The food was pretty good, but the drinks were pricey at $5.00 each for a fountain drink. Overall, we had a great time. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. Plenty of TVs and music playing. We did not visit the arcade but it was large. We will be back again soon! read more

4/9/26 Upon arriving great customer service. When it came time to order their pitcher with pizza, the black lady was very nice accommodating to their premium package for a liquor upgrade. That's when this other women chipped in asking did she get approval for the manager, she said yes. Then everyone went to the back and came back with a guy and now everybody is saying it's an extra 10$ on top of the upgrade, meaning the liquor I wanted which was don was an extra extra upgrade and more money. I had to say Nevermind because they were only gonna put 3shot in a pitcher full of ice for 46$ plus tax. Bunch of scammer will never get my money boohooo, will go elsewhere not worth it. read more

Facilities here are top notch for bowling which is the only reason I don't give them 1 star bc I come to bowl. I have frequented it many times over the years bc I am an avid bowler. With that being said the front desk staff here is terrible. Very rude and inefficient. This review was a long time coming. Overhaul your staff, these people at the front desk so no courtesy or respect for your patrons. If I paying too dollar to bowl which i do here i expect and decent and respectable staff which i don't receive here. Our family decided to get together and have a last hurrah before the holidays and what we fear is another lock down due to rising COVID cases! I am so glad we decided on Bowlero! This bowling center is large...many lanes and other activities (mini arcade & bar area) for everyone to feel satisfied! We had Groupons and of course that is always confusing when redeemed at some businesses..but the staff at Bowlero were patient; professional and friendly! Let's talk about the staff...we had an issue with the arcade game card not loading properly..this was immediately addressed and resolved with a smile! The multiple food orders of our party was overwhelming to me..but not the staff..they were prompt..food was adequate (for bowling alley food..lol). I would recommend this bowling center because they honored COVID guidelines by spacing out groups to every other lane and face mask wearing was enforced and I appreciated it very much! Wow!! Went here for a couple hours to bowl with the family New Year's Eve Day and got banged up for a $221 bill!!! That doesn't include the food which wasn't cheap either. How could 5 games total + 7 shoes cost so much? They don't charge per lane by rather by person, so the 17 games was comprised of 1 lane with 3 kids (3 games) at one lane and 4 adults (2 games). Newly remodeled bowling alley on Kirkwood Highway near Elsmere featuring 20 lanes glowing under neon lights. There is plenty of table seating opposite the lanes, a bar/lounge area and a food truck styled kitchen. Our first stop was the bar where the two lady bartenders were making some serious drinks. Beer was being poured into a giant contraption that had a spout. Another drink was being made in a huge bowl that four people could drink from. Both looked like the centerpieces of a good time but I was partying on a budget and opted for the Two dollar Tuesdays Long Island. Not bad for a two dollar pour. We moved on to the food truck. They were offering two dollar tacos. My friend and I got a couple of those and they were quite delicious, very well made. My only complaint is you only got one taco for two dollars, I felt it should be two considering it's also Taco Tuesday everywhere else that serves tacos. I liked that the young man working the food truck also came to the lanes to take orders and deliver food. Speaking of the lanes, I am not sure what was going on with the first reviewer but there was definitely a man clearing the tables at the lanes and as far as the balls are concerned they recycled themselves automatically. I don't think that review is for THIS location because they don't even have the bumper cars there. My only problem with the lanes was finding the number. With all the neon going on in there, they couldn't light up the lane numbers (insert thinking emoji). Last I loved the arcade. I wish it was bigger and had the giant PAC Man they have at other Bowlero's but it was awesome. Ice hockey tables, skee ball, video games including a Space Invaders on steroids. Totally cool. Was told there would be a 20min wait so we waited...FOR AN HOUR. Highly ineffective system and just badly run. Very understaffed and the staff is a bit rude If the woman at the counter spent more smiling and being nice than she did time wiping her nose with her bare hand and then touching the screen, shoes, credit cards , etc maybe this review would be different Also maybe not let your employees eat while they are checking people in. I came here in early August for a bowling tournament. Location: Right off a main road so its easy to locate. Parking: If you're here a major event get here early if you want to park in their lot. Otherwise you will be parking in the lot across the back road. On a typical day, I'm sure the parking is ample sine it loops around the whole facility. Lanes: They have a lot of lanes here but the lanes were super dry here! You're better off not cleaning the oil off your calls and using that residual oil! If you like the challenge of bowling in a dry house this is the place to go! Food: The food is decent. Drinks: The drinks were hella cheap!! I don't know how they're making money here or maybe it's because I'm from NYC and I'm used to paying an arm and a leg for a drink. Overall, this is a nice house to visit. Went to this place on the weekend. They have a running tab which seems like it would be a good idea, but they aren't up front about paying. We had a group of 4 that wanted to split the bill. When asked, the lady there told us that we would only have to pay for the shoes and the lane. When we went up to pay, she charged us for the shoes and the lane. Later when we were getting ready to leave, she told us we had to pay 25$ each as well. That wouldn't have been a problem if she had been honest in the first place. Not only this- but the lane kept malfunctioning multiple times and would randomly knock the pins over using the arm. The food was overpriced- fries were good but the nachos were soggy and we asked for chicken- to which we got steak. All together- this was not a 180$ experience. I went bowling with the family for my birthday. we order drinks online to have it brought to our table the total was $30 with tip for 2drinks. The drinks was good but they charged my card twice I called two days later when I notice on my bank account. The manager that worked that night didn't get on the phone because they couldn't help me. I thought that was crazy. I was told someone will call me back and they never did. I will never use a credit card in the place if I do go back. so be careful using you credit card in the place because I was charge twice for my one order and they never called me back to help me with my issue. sad! read more

Checked this place out on Friday night with a couple friends and had a great time! It's pretty new and updated inside compared to other bowling alleys I've been to. There's a "food truck" inside, a bar and an arcade. We didn't eat but the food looked good. We had beer and soda at the bar, bartender was great. The arcade had quite a few games and even a prize machine. Staff was friendly and helpful even though there were a TON of people there and they were a bit overwhelmed. Had a blast a few weeks ago for a birthday party get together here. Everybody was masked up inside, and our group of five crowded up one lane. Every other lame is the protocol with Covid. The remodel is an impressive one, and it is a really cool scene inside. We went on a busy Sunday and were able to use a Groupon, which made it super affordable. Great arcade, crowded but plenty of space. The service wasn't super quick, although they were busy. When the food did come, the chicken fingers platter and the wings were both good stuff. Loved our visit for coworkers night out! We were fortunate enough to get help from one of the many friendly managers (Brian) so we could get two lanes next to each other (without any reservations on a Friday night!). While it was poor planning on our part, Brian was able to accommodate the 30 of us even when the bowling alley had a league. We got drinks served to us (and delicious food...seriously try the pretzel..)! While we certainly weren't the best bowlers there, we had a memorable night thanks to the staff that helped us pull off a coworker outing last minute. Great bowling alley! Friendly staff, clean and well designed. While bowling, there was an attentive server who took drink and food orders. There is a good variety of arcade games with refillable cards. My only complaint is they were a little pricey. It was about $70 for 4 of us to bowl and rent shoes. Some of the food prices are just as high with a 10" gluten free pepperoni pizza for ~$20. The prices dont bother me since the atmosphere and service were excellent. read more

I am very happy with Bowlero's response to our cancelled event which has been rescheduled.They are obviously concerned with their image and will do anything within their power to help their loyal patrons.They will not return monies on a signed contract..so let the buyers beware!!We are 40 yr friends & couples aged 60-70. I have 50 years experience bowling , a past league high average in a Wednesday night Men's league at Pleasant Hills (189) so I am no stranger to bowling. Our group is couples and has had 2 wonderful prior New Years 9pm-1am events at this location as well as many corporate events in my 37 year tenure at Morgan Stanley in Delaware. We understand the trials of running a business during the Pandemic and the human side of things. We live in Pa & De within 15 minutes of the location. The party package of food and drink is relatively less important than the bowling. We usually meet at 6pm prior to the 9pm-1am event to eat at Capers and Lemons .We scheduled a New Years Eve package without liquor for 4 lanes and 19 people for 835.81 and an event fee of 175.52 totaling 1011.33 . I paid a deposit of 500.00 on 12/9 after speaking with their representative Melissa. As the date got closer I communicated a few more times with Melissa prior to her 3 day advance confirmation call for full payment. The Covid situation was increasing daily and our group was increasingly nervous. I had asked Melissa more than a week prior if we could cancel and receive our deposit monies back with the exception of the 175.00 event fee as we are very cognizant of the need to pay commissioned persons. She said no..in fact..Melissa indicated that I would be responsible for the entire amount 1011.33 3 days prior whether we used their service or not and my card would be charged regardless as corporate had drawn a line in the sand with their contract..On the Mon. 12/27 prior to the event I called again to see if we could cancel and Melissa informed me that they were enforcing the contract but they would allow us to reschedule without their 50% upcharge but we could only reschedule up to the end of Jan.I mentioned that Covid did not seem to be lessoning and could we go out further..she said no.I took the latest date of Jan 29th offered...for a 6pm-10pm New Years Eve party package. Melissa restated their corporate line in the sand. My card was charged the full amount.A new contract issued & signed. on Jan 24th I called Melissa to inform her that our group had been subject to Covid and we had only 10-12 .I asked whether we could reschedule to Feb 12th.She said no.I said it appeared a significant storm might be coming..She never called on Wed or Thurs.with the storm coming..I finally called on Friday at 12:26pm and again at 4:54Pm and left messages both times...no call back..Finally..as we were getting ready for the Governor to lift the New Castle County driving alert ( lifted at 6pm).The roads were actually pretty clear in our neighborhood and Shipley and Weldin Roads.I received a call out of the blue from Amber at 3:20pm to inform me that the lanes were closing early at 8pm.Amber said Mellissa was off Fri. Amber asked me if our group could come earlier today.like at 4pm? or tomorrow?I said that was out of the question at such a late date for 6 couples. could we reschedule to Feb 12th.5pm-9pm..Amber said yes .sent a contractm for 2/12/2022 .I did not sign as I wanted to speak with Mellissa.On Monday..Mellissa offered to reschedule our group to next New Years Eve..The contract is signed..We are thrilled!!! We went here today March 2nd 2019. It was horrible we were unable to have the bumpers for the kids and not for the adults. They said it was one way or the other. There no ball racks close to the lanes. Which is why no one ever cleaned up the balls. We were not able to find balls we were comfortable with. No one came to clean up from the prior people. My review relates to the recent Groupon I purchased to bowl at the Bowlero in Wilmington, DE. I'm writing this to save others wasted money who might be considering the Groupon. Read the fine print! I saw that the bowling had to be before 6:00 on Saturdays (when I was first considering the fine print) but it wasn't until after I purchased 2 groupons for 4 people (bowling for 2 hours plus shoe rental) and I tried to reserve lanes that I was informed that the bowling (2 hours) has to be COMPLETED by 6:00. It states "Not valid Saturdays after 6 p.m." I thought it was you had to start by 6:00 and was fine with that. I also didn't see that you can't make any lane reservations if you are using the groupon so you're expected to just show up and have no idea if there are lanes available for your group or not and what...wait a few hours until one opens up (if ever)? Then I was also informed that I couldn't use a groupon for half my party on one lane and the second groupon on a second lane with the other half of my party- this is not stated anywhere in the fine print. Worst of all, all sales are final so I can't get my money back on these two Groupons and will have to try to plan for 4 people to go bowling here when we have no way of guaranteeing we'll actually be able to bowl if we show up. read more

Arrived at Bowlero 2:30 on this Sunday afternoon looking to bowl w 9 people. We were told that at 3:00 they would be shutting down 40 of the 50 lanes for a league starting at 6:00 and there was a wait list. We waited and kids played in arcade. Checked at front desk 15 minutes after they cleared the 40 lanes. There was one family activity bowling on one maybe two lanes. We were told we were still waiting to have two lanes open together. (We were the only ones waiting in the entire place.) In all fairness they said there were two lanes reserved for a party... so that would make only 4 lanes of the 10 taken....they said there was only one lane available. ( They had no idea the length of time when two lanes would be open together.)We could bowl on it if we wanted. I Went and gathered everyone up, when we got back to counter they said we had to many for one lane, that we could not bowl. This was a very frustrating experience, not pleasant at all, did not feel welcome, clearly they are not interested in promoting their business... we left. If I could put 0 stars I would. Please bowl elsewhere. read more
