I was having the worst craving for a green smoothie after all the unhealthy food I had been eating on the Strip during my trip, I almost paid the exorbitant price to have one DoorDashed to the hotel at night. Luckily I survived the night without giving in, but I had already set my sights on one from a different place. Bowlology happened to be more convenient the next day so I agreed to stop by without looking too closely at the menu. The acai bowl packaging, ambiance of the store, and price point of the items reminds me a lot of Nekter Juice Bar, but the quality of at least the green smoothie left a bit to be desired. I ordered the regular Green Day which contains spinach, pineapple, peaches, and vanilla almond milk. I'm really particular with my green smoothie order (e.g., kale over spinach any day and pineapple paired with mango only) so I didn't have much faith that I'd like this combination of ingredients, but I was already here so no backing out. If I remember correctly the store was out of peaches so I did get mango instead. I usually look for at least five ingredients in a good smoothie so I had a hunch that this one would be on the runnier side since there's no thickening agent (e.g., greek yoghurt). It was definitely on the runny side which is not my personal preference, but the overall flavor profile also lacked dimension. I would have liked to see the addition of a thickening agent and maybe a sweetener. Overall, it's not a smoothie that I would personally order again. Their acai bowls looked really promising though, I would still be open to giving one of those a shot. There were a few tables for indoor seating but both the table and chair I sat at were wobbly and the store itself was on the chilly side so we left to scope out a more promising spot quickly. read more

Came in 20 minutes before closing so we could only get acai or pitaya bowls, no protein bowls. I shared a large Berry Good Super Bowl with my son. My daughter got a Hula Super Bowl with 1/2 acai and 1/2 pitaya. Her boyfriend got a Bohemian Bowl #3. The bowls were a refreshing healthy treat on a very hot summer evening. Presentation- 5/5 Taste- 3/5 Value- 3/5 I stopped in here the other day for the first time because I was in the area and craving something refreshing & healthy. I originally planned on getting a smoothie but the bowls on the menu just looked wayyyy too good to pass up. I ordered the Bohemian 3 with strawberries instead of bananas. It came to $14.00 total which I thought was pretty steep just for an açaí bowl. When I got the bowl I was pleasantly surprised that it was quite large, but still don't believe big enough to where $14.00 is justified. A good price for me would be $10.00, and I'll get to why later. The first few bites were soooo good. It was exactly what I was craving. The fruit on top tasted really fresh and went perfectly with the honey on top. However once I started getting into the actual base of the bowl where the acaci and granola are, I noticed it started tasting more like ice cream rather than an açaí bowl. It was so incredibly sweet that I only finished half before putting the lid on and putting it in the freezer at home to maybe finish later. I remember reading the menu and for the blends in the bowl, they were described as "sorbet" which makes me believe that there's a lot of sugars and other added ingredients into the açaí. The granola was also very sweet. I think if I ever come here again I would ask for only half the amount of granola. The stars of the show were the fresh fruit, honey, and chia seed pudding. Overall the taste was there, but it was just really overpowered by sweetness. I've been to other smoothie/açaí places where the bowls taste very natural and less like ice cream. I think for the most part I'll stick to those, but I'm not completely against ever trying Bowlology again. read more

Only 3 stars because the bowl I had was recommended to me and I wasn't really 'loving it'. I didn't go myself to the establishment to order, my co worker was talking about this place and decided to go and I made my selection based on looking at the menu, photos, and reviews on Yelp. I got the "Ocean" for me it was 3/5 stars. One thing I didn't understand with looking at the menu was that it said Acai or Pitaya...to be honest I don't know what that meant so my co-worker came back with (I think) Pitaya because my base was blue and not purple which I know the Acai is normally a dark purple color. I personally wanted Acai but again can't really say for sure exactly what was ordered for me. I did like the fresh fruit, granola and honey that was on it. I'm not a coconut fan ( my co-worker didn't know that) so it was on in my bowl but I just simply scrapped it off and it was okay. I did of course have a little coconut here and there in the bowl but it wasn't bad. The coconut was not over powering. I will definitely be trying this place again, next I hope to go there myself so I can personally speak with the staff and order exactly what I want and pick out my own wants and take out what I don't want. read more

First time coming here and met up with a friend. This is a good spot if you go to UNLV, I wish they had this place when I was still attending UNLV because they have some good smoothie bowl choices and other stuff too. I ended up getting the PB Lover which had: BLEND: Açaí or Pitaya, Strawberry, Banana, Peanut Butter & Choc. Almond Milk TOPPINGS: Strawberry, Banana, Almonds, Dark Choc. Chips, Granola & Honey The açaí bowl was pretty delicious and I loved all of the toppings. I got the regular size since it's a pretty big size. The only thing I didn't like was that it melted so fast and I wasn't eating slow. They do make it when you order it but I guess I've been used to places with açaí already blended and they store it in the freezer and they just put everything on it when a customer order so the bowl would take a while to melt. But here they make everything right there and then, I'm assuming because I heard the blender multiple times when people started coming in. Also, it is very loud in there when they're using the blender. My friend and I had to stop talking, wait for them to finish an order, just so we could hear each other. Honestly bad service, we ordered 6 açaí bowls online and when I went to pick them up I was told they didn't receive any order. I proceeded to ask to look on their iPad for any notifications. The 2 girls went to the back to talk, I showed them my order # and they finally looked. I wasn't even upset about it but the fact they didn't apologize but made an excuse about it made me upset. When we did receive our bowls they were all covered in a substance that made them sticky. Really sucks when employees make the brand seem like trash. Never had any trouble here before, it's a great place with good product but the service was terrible. A suggestion would be retrain or hire better. read more

came in around 2:30pm for some açaí bowls. when we walked in the lights were off and the door was unlocked so it was obviously open for business, but I guess business was not wanted? one of the ladies said they were closing early due to an emergency & the other coworker told us they were closing for an appointment. pick an excuse. Which one was it? Anyways, they said they were only able to make the bohemian bowls or the makai bowl, most likely because those are pre made mixes and all they had to do was scoop it up & put it into a cup. People came in after us and tried to get some bowls but turned around cause they weren't able to order what they wanted. That's definitely money lost for this business location. There was a table that had a slab of açaí on it and not clean. Meanwhile the girls are just in the back doing whatever instead of the tidying up the place. I love bowlology but this location needs some serious work. The business hours on the door states 10am-6pm DAILY. So the fact that I'm not the only one in the reviews with a similar complaint is unacceptable. The business owner should take note. Please and thank you. read more

I've been on a big açaí bowl kick lately. When I briefly lived at the UNLV dorms, Bowlology was my place, and I frequented it at least once a week. I started going back again when I worked in this same area. Though about three years have passed since I initially began patronizing this spot, my opinions haven't really changed. My coworkers and I would regularly come in with a list of bowls/smoothies for the office. These were easily $40 or $50 orders. In the summer season, you'd think this would be appreciated since a business near UNLV is sure to slow down when class isn't in session. However, without fail, the employees were always lackluster at best and seemed bothered to deal with customers, especially customers with a larger order. There would also be periodic issues with order correctness. Specifically, I always ask for no honey on my bowl. Yet, my bowl would usually come out with honey. It's these tiny things that have encouraged me to obtain açaí bowls from other Bowlology locations and other establishments altogether. read more

Even if you close early doesn't mean you should refuse service just because you shut down everything too early. I'm pregnant and really wanted to enjoy a smoothie before a busy night at work. Best açaí bowl hands down. The perfect amount of açaí, granola and fruit. Some açaí bowls are Disproportioned, not here. Also they have other light breakfast foods that pair really well with their açaí bowls- like an avocado toast with eggs. They even made my avocado toast into a heart on Valentine's Day!!
