Needed a quick healthy smoothie in Vegas after eating so much food here. The service was pretty fast and efficient. They have salad, burger, and smoothie options here. I got the açaí berry which was pretty good. Their menu is not fully updated, but they actually don't have green leaf berry anymore so I ordered the green shake for a friend. You have the option to order proteins at an added cost of $3 for pea protein or wheat protein. There is plenty of seating in doors here and a parking lot too. This is normally an easy stop for me on my way to work and I patronize this place frequently. Unfortunately I will no longer consider this place as an option due to being mistreated by CHLOE. She's usually very kind and remembers my order (which is why I was confused by her rude behavior), but this time there was someone there that I had not seen before making my smoothie, she put waaaaay too much chocolate in it and the smoothie was too sweet and off colored. I never complain or send anything back but this wasn't a normal smoothie. So *I* as the returning customer APOLOGIZE that my smoothie was made wrong and asked for another one. Chloe becomes very argumentative and tells me the portions are pre made and they follow a recipe (which isn't true because I watched the girl remake my smoothie and she feee handed the milk pour, which is fine, just don't lie), and refused to remake my drink. I then said "I'm not asking for a refund, I'm just asking for it to be remade" she gets upset and states how it's policy to not take drinks back and the food is served as is. I then say "so I'm supposed to purchase something from here and hope that it's made correctly?" She gets huffy and snatches the drink from my hand and says "we aren't supposed to do it but we will anyways" and throws the drink in the trash. No apology, no nothing. Mind you I'm a PAYING customer. I paid to be treated poorly. In this economy when people are trying to go out of their way to support a franchise rather than a corporation like smoothie king across the street, I think customer service training for Chloe should be considered. My feedback about the smoothie shouldn't have angered her that way. I won't be back and I won't be bringing anyone else with me like I normally do. They always have water cups for there fresh made cucumber water which is super good. I asked If there were any menus we could read, because the TVs were a bit hard to see. They said we could scan the QR code or just read the menu that they had at the register. We looked on our phones and picked out what we wanted. The staff here really was so nice and noticed us trying to figure out what we wanted immediately and helped us out! Love that. There's plenty of seating inside, but like I said, we decided to sit outside. We didn't have to wait too long for our food which was great. I got the chicken tacos and my husband got a wrap. The chicken tacos came with three of them, and mannnn were they packed!! It was awesome! I couldn't even finish it all because it was a lot of food. So great! I placed an order for takeout and, while picking it up, I saw the employee handling my food wearing gloves, then touching his glasses with those same gloves -- a major food safety concern. I immediately called the restaurant after seeing this and returned my food the same day. Michelle assured me she would call me back within 24 hours. It has now been three days and I have received no call, no update, and no refund for my order. This is unacceptable.
