I looooove an açaí bowl and I decided to grab one after my acupuncture appointment. Came in here to grab one and then head over to my pool to enjoy it! The space inside was rather big for just a smoothie bowl spot. They do have protein bowls too though so maybe some people do sit down and eat them, I'm not entire sure. The girl that took my order kinda looked annoyed when I walked in haha but it's okay. She wasn't the most friendly which was fine. I was just ordering it to go. I recently visited Bowlogy and had a great experience! A girl with long black hair was especially kind and attentive, making the visit even better. I got the PB Lover regular, and the service was impressively fast. The kitchen was clean, which gave me confidence in their hygiene standards. I had the pleasure of visiting this spot from Los Angeles. Bowlology was highly recommended by my nephew living in Henderson, NV. I ordered the 1/2 BBQ chicken an 1/2 chicken katsu. BOTH were cooked perfectly and delicious. The rice was just right and the sauces where also very good. But I have to honest, the macaroni salad was the star of the show, simply delicious. I got a regular Makai bowl with almond butter. The almond butter was additional $1.25, I gotten like 2 tbsp of it. Not sure if it should've been more but I wish it was for that price. I really love that Bowlology cares about not only the employees but customers too. They have been really safe during covid. All employees wear masks and gloves and sanitize. I ordered the Pink Dragon because I didn't want anything too sweet and because of all the benefits of pitaya (aka dragon fruit). I first learned about dragon fruit during my travels in Thailand. I ate it every morning with breakfast. Let's just say my guts never felt better and I had plenty of energy. The fact that I was there for a wedding (mini vacay) and left all of my life troubles behind helped too! My friend ordered the Rise and Shine bowl which was absolutely delicious, with a nice balance of sweet, tart and a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. I would definitely recommend either. Having been away from the home for a year and a half, we been wanting acai bowls better than the frozen type that's sold at Costco & Sam's club. Enter Bowlology. Let's skip to the chase and get to the good stuff. The wife ordered an Ocean bowl with Pitaya and I got the PB lover with Acai. These acai/pataya bowls are different from the type that we normally get. Straight acai or pitaya either blended with a little bit of ice or in their sorbet form with toppings. Bowlology blends ingredients together AND will put toppings on. The Ocean contains a blending of Acai or Pitaya, Strawberry, Peaches, Mango & Apple Juice. THEN...topped with Strawberry, Kiwi, Watermelon, Granola & Honey. Super refreshing and a little bit of tartness. The PB Lover contains a blend of Acai or Pitaya, Strawberry, Banana, Peanut Butter & Chocolate Almond Milk. THEN....topped with Strawberry, Banana, Almonds, Dark Chocolate Chips, Granola & Honey. The Ocean with Pitaya is really good. So good that I helped my wife finish hers. I was drawn to the PB lover because well, who doesn't love peanut butter? This was not my favorite to be honest because I didn't care for the blend. The Acai flavor was almost lost because the banana and peanut butter changed the consistency to a smoothie like texture that would have been better if drank with a straw. From a quick gaze at the menu, they also make smoothies as well as poke and chicken bowls. The place was clean but due to COVID about 90% of the chairs were up and about 3 tables/areas have seating but I didn't see anyone eating in so it might just be for waiting patron's to take home. Customer service was good and wait time to prep the bowls were about 5 - 10 minutes. Consider sharing because their smallest Acai/Pitaya bowls which are the "regular" size is huge. I should have looked at the menu closer because it looks like the Bohemian bowls are where it's at since the Acai or Pitaya are the sorbet version which is what we prefer. You know what that means? All the ingredients were good and fresh. For me, there just wasn't enough variety of topping options to add to my bowl to make it exciting. Having been a big fan of Pokè Poku for so long and all their toppings and sauces and such, this was a bit of a let down. I like a variety of choices ok?! Anyway, the service was nice, the store was very clean, the atmosphere was chill and modern, the food was good and served its purpose. The breakfast bowls did look very tasty and intriguing, and colorful! For me, today, I was full when I walked out and happy about my food. There just wasn't enough exciting variety of choices for bowls and toppings to make a repeat visit for a lunch choice.
