I traveled to Brazil and ate acai bowls there everyday and I became jaded when I came home - acai bowls from the birthplace of acai bowls could do that to you. I haven't had an acai bowl in the US for a long time. I recently came back from South America...again, eating a fair share of acai bowls. I decided to give Bowlology another try a few days ago. Sure they have all sorts of add-ons, mix-ins and toppings and their acai bowls aren't in their purest form anymore but you know what? It doesn't have to be. Give me fruits, give me crunch, give me texture. PB Lover: Açai or Pitaya, Strawberry, Banana, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Almond Milk. On top: Strawberry, Banana, Almonds, Dark Chocolate Chips, Granola, Honey. I would get a large and eat it within 2 days. Add a scoop or two of protein powder and it's a great substitute for ice cream! Makai Bowl: Açai. On top: Strawberry, Banana, Granola, Honey. A simpler combo. Chocolate Monster Smoothie: Banana, Almonds, Cacao Powder, Chocolate Almond Milk. Rich and tasty. The place is spacious. A few tables and chairs. Service is solid. Aside from acai bowls and smoothies, they now have salad/ rice bowls. Their proteins include salmon, tuna, chicken and beef. read more

Bowlology is my go to place if I am craving an açaí bowl. The regular sizes are perfect and very filling. I usually Oder the Berry Good açaí bowl and I like to add almonds and chocolate chips. I like that they have lids if you're on the run. I have never had a smoothie or the island poke bowls. Today I tried the banana split bowl and it was very satisfying. It made me feel better that there was some added vanilla whey protein in the açaí blend. They used to have a punch card way back when for a rewards but now I do not think they offer anything for frequent customers. read more

My picky bf found something healthy by accident that he is now addicted to. Two days in a row he enjoyed one of their acai bowls. He is always hungry after a work out and this was filling for him along with a mango smoothie and a beef bowel all disappeared. I enjoyed a poke bowl with kimchi and cucumbers. Filled to the brim with warm tuna and rice. We look forward to going back and trying everything on their menu. The service was quick and we told the manager we will be back. read more

The poke bowls here are insanely good. Idk why there's such mixed reviews on the bowls- I've had the poke 3 times here and every time was better then the next. The poke is cut perfectly (trust me- that matters) and the sauces and toppings are paired perfectly with each bowl. Perfect amount of rice in my opinion too. My new go to for poke. read more

Haven't made it back in to the location to take up that offer of two free bowls however, we just tried our very first poke bowl from bowlology. We were a bit worried to give it a go because while the reviews tend to be mixed on the acai bowls the reviews on the poke bowls and chicken/beef bowls are alot less favorable. We tried the 9th island bowl. It was wonderful! Cons: wayyyyy too much rice & hardly any sauce. Pros: fresh ingredients & tasty ahi tuna. We def recommend you give it a shot. I've been to Bowlology a few times now, and I always end up ordering the same thing because it never disappoints--the Banana Split Bowl (no honey) and the Protein Bowl with Chicken and White Rice. The Banana Split Bowl is blended perfectly with açaí, strawberry, banana, vanilla whey protein, and almond milk. Topped with granola, fresh fruit, dark chocolate chips, and almonds--it's the perfect mix of sweet and satisfying without being overly sugary. The Chicken Protein Bowl is also solid. The white rice is always warm and fluffy, the chicken is flavorful, and the steamed veggies with green onions and their sweet & savory sauces bring everything together nicely. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the service can be a hit or miss. Some of the staff are super sweet and welcoming, while others can come off cold or a little rude. I'll give it a 4/5 because it is tasty but it is not exactly healthy. There is a lottttt of added sugar in their bowls and also you can tell some below grade ingredients. Most of the fruit is fresh but some is covered definitely dried (which is fine) but again coated in sugar. Also if you go to the nurtrial page. They do give you all the facts. But I just don't like how there are some chemicals in some of the products. Service is always good! And hey if you're looking for a healthier sweet treat this is definitely the place to go! Ordered 3 bowls and two smoothies (two beef and one wicked salmon). Both beef bowls had no sauce and the wicked salmon had a bunch of red onions which isn't even in it. When i called back they said they couldn't remake them because there was no rice and the only way to refund was for us to drive back because they need the card. After the hassle they only refunded the 3 bowls and not the smoothie. The next morning i explained to the manager how we had to drive for a partial refund and think that after all that they could have refunded the whole order. She said they could remake the bowls and refund us the smoothies as well. I asked if instead of refunding the smoothies we could just make them again since we were getting the bowls. She agreed and i left my name. When we go back the cashier said they were charging us for the smoothies and there was a misunderstanding which makes no sense bc i gave in detail what happened and was honest. I have mixed feelings about this place. It's like every other time I've tried it. It's either a good experience or a bad experience. The first time was great the second time not so lovely. Third time was great today. I ordered a Bohemian number two and I ordered ninth Island. I asked for spring mix with my ninth island. I did not get that instead I got stale rice underneath my bowl ,Along with warm poke. I will say when the food is great it's great but when it's not, it'll make you a question about even going back. I was really disappointed today also, as far as inside the restaurant wasn't dirty, but they were not stocked up on any of the waters except for the coconut waters. I would've went back and asked them to fix my bowl but after grocery shopping next-door and then grabbing my Poké bowl and my açai bowl i went home and that's when i was able to check my order. at this point, I'm exhausted from shopping. The ratio of rice to fish to toppings was not proportional. The smoothie ingredients listed on the menu were: "Kiwi, Strawberry, Peaches, Apple juice." Pleasant and better experience this time! Appreciate the owner Josh reaching out so quickly after our bad experience with the service. We decided to give this place another shot and this time I got the beef protein bowl and my daughter got her ocean bowl she always get which I didn't get to take a picture of because she finished it in the car. Cashier was a lot friendlier than last time and she even made suggestions on the protein bowls. Waited about 5 mins for the 2 bowls which was way better than last time. The girls in the kitchen was a lot nicer as well. Employees are not friendly at all. They look like they are not happy with what they are doing hence why the bowls are not as good as it was before. Their faces shows it all. Too busy to deliver them to the table, I guess. Still, no one else in the place. I opened up my chicken bowl and found the bowl more than halfway full of rice with very little broccoli, carrots and chicken. However, the chicken pieces were cut so large I couldn't cut them with a plastic fork so my granddaughter went to ask Miss friendly for a knife. Surprise!!! They don't have them!! So I walked up to the little pick up window to ask the guy if he'd mind cutting the chicken in smaller bite sized pieces. He took it back into the kitchen and returned it to me with a new cover. When I got back to the table the chicken pieces were still larger than I'd like but I just used my fingers after that. Only figured out about these review things today, however, the smoothies and bowls here are absolutely delightful! I come here once a while and this place never disappoints! The employees are kind and humorous, the customer service is absolutely EXELLENT, and I always receive exactly what I want. It definitely a delicious treat!! If you come here and don't know what to get, I definitely recommend the Hula bowl or the PB Lovers! I will definitely come here more frequently. I've decided to try something new and got an açaí smoothie and a bowl to share with friends today, came out delicious as expected and they loved it. Stopped in after the gym to grab a bite to eat before going to the Trader Joes next door. The staff was friendly and answered a couple of questions I had about different items on the menu, ordering was easy and the prices are on par with similar places, like Vitality Bowl. The bowl was good and the fruit seemed fresh and everything tasted good, but I couldn't help but notice that in between patrons the tables were not wiped down. Especially right now with all the Covid protocols, it's pretty much standard that between customers the services are wiped clean. I noticed that the employees pretty much stayed behind the counter and in the back of the establishment the whole time. This was indicative because the table that was available when I got there had some leftovers on it from the previous customer.
