I visited Dutch Bros this morning and was greeted by a new employee. It was clear she was still learning, which I completely understand--everyone has to start somewhere. I placed my order, and she stepped away briefly to ask a coworker a few questions. When she returned, she asked if I was paying with the app, gave me my total, and I paid before pulling up to the window. At the window, the employee assisting me was very unpleasant. She handed me a blended drink, and I asked what it was. She responded by asking if I had ordered it blended. I said no, and she asked again if I was sure. After confirming that I hadn't, they remade the drink. When I received the other drink, I asked if it was made extra sweet. She checked the computer and replied simply, "No," without offering to fix it or apologizing. She then told me it couldn't be remade because I had already taken it, which I found strange. Instead, she offered to give me the ingredients in a cup so I could add them myself. Before adding anything, I tasted the drink and it clearly had little to no flavor. As a regular customer who comes here often, it was disappointing to have to fix my own drink after paying. It felt as though she may have been training new employees but didn't want to be bothered. I want to be clear that I have no issue with new employees--they were trying their best. I've worked as a manager before, and this level of customer service was surprising. That has always been my thing I changed from Starbucks to Dutch one today to get my duck where the ad says 10 per customer max not one per customer not one duck per drink max 10 per customer. They are consistently short staffed so the lines take FOREVER. Even ordering a head they make you wait so long past the time.

Cross Streets are Centennial & Simmons. Next to a New Gas Station that was built the same time as this Dutch Brothers. While I am a semi-regular at DBC, I think I tend to partake more when the weather is warmer and I can scarf down some of their blended creations. I was out and about this morning and needed a carmelizer.... And lo and behold there was only two cars ahead of me in line! (I can't think of how many times I did not drop in when both lanes of the drive through we're almost backed up to Juan's). Anyway, had the app open and the "sidewalk broista" was quick to get my order. (Love the mobile app). Some of these reviews goofs me out lol How does one give a one star because of how slow the line moves lmao! Try to be in the workers shoes making all kinds of different ingredients. Stuff like that takes time and trying to be efficient while you're trying to keep the momentum building up speed in the workplace. This is fairly new place where they have new people. I did have an incident today that's kind of related to all these negative reviews. But definitely deserves a five-star. I had some idiot cut in line today. A black F-150 truck tinted windows. It's either a newbie for Dutch and does not understand how to line program works. Or it's some adult that acts like a kid that has nothing better else to do but needs to grow up. The order taker came up to my window. I didn't vent or make a huge deal over it. When it came to finalizing my order I just offered to give an extra tip to get my drinks first before the truck. The kid was so cool and very professional he told me he couldn't do that because the line is already moving. He took a dollar off my tab. I didn't ask for it or agree to it. The line was super long and the wait was forever. They finally had someone walk out and take orders like in n out but you had to pay with the walking cashier. Even though the line took forever tipped the cashier because she was out in the hot taking orders which she was fairly quick at it. As for the drinks we ordered the campfire freeze and the cold brew campfire and the electric berry energy drink. I LOVE the Rebels (my boys LOVE the lemonade). The staff (95% of them) are always extremely friendly and helpful. I never feel rushed and when I can't decide but want to try something new they always have ideas to throw out. I do really like their coffee (I do prefer the coffee strength from Starbucks though although I love the flavors here and you can 1/2 the sweetness in any drink). I love the rebels with white chocolate & almond but I swear I have to drink it fast or it gets curdled and looks gross and I can't drink it after that haha. It's Dutch Bros- good drinks all around. The line however is unmanageable. I've been to several locations in the valley for years and sure there is always a line but it moves quickly. This location needs 2 order takers out in the line most of the time and need to move the cars along. Lots of times the line is wrapped around the entrance and they don't bother to move up with the next car. Sometimes the window has no car because they're still a few car lengths behind taking the next order. I've waited in line 20 mins a few weeks ago.
