Incredible experience booking a private party for a bachelorette! Kellsie was so helpful with the entire booking experience. The whole team created a beautifully decorated space for my friends and I to create our denim jackets in. I was able to mail my decorations and her team set everything up, plus they provided a few additional decorations! Kellsie was extremely responsive and I knew I'd be in great hands. Such a cute shop!! This place is super cute. Stopped by here to make a charm bracelet with my friend. We were the first ones here and didn't make an appointment. We were set up right away and was able to pick our charm and our bracelet. After we're done, one of the associate put our charm on the bracelet and we were happy with the results! read more

Very cute place. I came here with a group of friends and we are all Black women. I was aware of the recent press this place received, but a friend really wanted to go. I found my experience to be enjoyable and I did not feel like staff put on airs or were overcompensating because of negative publicity. They were genuinely helpful and we were there quite a while. Each of us wound up purchasing charm bracelets and we definitely took our time. The store is a bit tight and we had to wait a while to start, as the manager asked that our group be completely there before we begin bracelet-making. After seeing how congested it gets in the main area, I could see why. If you miss your chance to get a good look at the charms the first time, it's a little difficult to circle back around the charm table. The concept is cute and it is a nice, girly friend-date. There were a few other diverse groups of patrons there, so the clientele is certainly not all white. Though it does look like their staff wasn't the most diverse. My only con really is the pricing. I think we expected it to be affordable, but many of the charms themselves are $10-plus. There are a few that are $5-8. The cheapest bracelet, though, is around $22, so you should expect to pay at least around $30 just for a basic, single charm bracelet. Tax is not included as you tally your charm costs on their little note pads. This is to be expected, but the sticker shock did kind of surprise me in the end. At least now I have my bracelet for when I return for charms. I will be back! read more

I love this place and all the girls that work there!! I had the privilege of my bridesmaids setting up a room, and having a bachelorette reveal! We had a total girls day of making charm necklaces, and crafting bags. The team at boxbar had decorations ON theme of the bachelorette, let my friends go in early, had decals for our bags on theme, and offered plates, napkins, tablecloths on theme to help with the process. It was truly an amazing day and we never wanted it to end. So thankful for this opportunity to have such a nice memory here and thankful for the team at boxbar to make it all happen. I was lucky enough to receive a custom birthday box from this cute establishment! I did have an opportunity to pick up the gift in store and was able to see what box bar had to offer. I went on a Sunday and the vibes were super high and fun. Everyone was making jewelry and shopping around. My gift itself was amazing. I received items like a scented vanilla candle (so good), champagne gummy bears, custom necklace, keychain and more! Def recommend this place! read more

Prior to driving an hour and a half, I checked online and called to make sure I could walk in and didn't need a reservation or a ticket, upon arrival I saw a sign that said walk in only. I walked in with my daughter and her friends, not a single employee acknowledged us when they did they told us a birthday party was arriving, and they needed to be served first, and they could call me when, they were able to help us. Checked both their website and their social media before going but when I got there, even though the store was open, there was a sign on the door that the charm bar was closed today. I love popping in this shop for cute gifts. Everyone is friendly and shop is clean. They also have new items!

I went in with a group of 4 to make bracelets and necklaces. We were not greeted in the 20-25 minutes that we waited there at the charm bar. The staff at the front desk was talking to customers the whole time we were standing there. The other staff member was helping customers make their jewelry and she made eye contact with us several times and just kept looking back down. We were standing within 5 feet of all staff present and still nobody said anything to us. I get it if staff are busy and cannot accommodate everybody at the same time but they could have at least said hello or told us it would be a wait until we could get started. After awkwardly standing there for 20+ minutes and the staff clearly ignoring us we decided to leave. Nobody said anything when we left the store either. Wouldn't recommend this place. read more
