The first floor is filled with blind boxes, gachapon machines, plushies and figures of all kinds, But when you go downstairs or take the elevator you're welcomed by a massive underground asian grocery + snacks store! I typically get their frozen food as it's usually a good deal, but I also love their selection of drinks, and they are my go-to place for getting sauces in chinatown for cooking. It's very well-maintained and the staff are always pleasant. I would recommend this to locals and tourists alike visiting Philly. read more

The top floor is filled with cute decor items, build-your-own book nook kits, claw machines, and collectible figures -- pretty similar to other stores nearby, but still fun to browse. What sets this place apart is the downstairs area, which is more of a traditional department store vibe. They've got a huge selection of cosmetics, a smaller section of skincare, and a whole stationery area with a ton of pens (though I'll admit, the prices felt steep -- not sure if that's just Philly, but it's definitely more expensive than what I'm used to). Snack selection was solid and reasonably priced, and I was excited to see the TikTok-famous mango and peach ice cream bars sold individually for \$5 each. Most places make you buy the full 3-pack for \$15 when you just want to try one, so this was a win in my book. There's also a small café and seating area downstairs, which is a nice touch, but the cleanliness definitely needs work -- the floor was sticky, trash cans were duct-taped together, and the space just didn't feel as fresh as it should for a newer store. Service was great though -- fast checkout, no one hovering over you, and the overall vibe was relaxed and easygoing. Blind boxes, cute keychains, gachapon, snacks, and more - all in one shop! This place is deceptively large with a range of cute items on the first floor and a whole second store of snacks and beauty products on the second floor. They have a great range of products and some I've never even seen before. I definitely overindulged on the blind boxes though lol. Reasonable prices and good variety. I remembered this store from what it was before. I don't believe the steps were painted as a rainbow before. Also, this mini-complex used to be three stores. A grocery store in the basement where they had another separate entrance off of Cherry or Race St. which I believe is shut off now, a hole in the wall cafe that took cash only, didn't speak English, and had bitter melon beef ho fun at a really good price, and a discount store on the top level with a mosh mash of items. My oh my have they changed this set of stores to the store that is now You and Me. The previous grocery store had unusual herbs that were apparently hard to find. While it is ashame that the previous grocery store could no longer survive, its replacement seems to "honor" that vibe in a way that will help this store thrive. Octopus dumplings, black sesame Oreos, so many options- some of which I never ran into before and some that have showed up here and there to me instead of "all at once". read more

This place is a hidden gem for Asian snacks! I have tried to find specific snacks at other places in Chinatown instead of heading to an HMART which is far away, but this is the only place that has a wide assortment of more than just Lays. This place is great for cute figurines upstairs and snack varieties downstairs, and the workers are nice and to the point. The price for the snacks is good too, about the same as HMART. read more

This place is finally open, it used to be a beat up Chinese grocery store at the location, now it's more like a department store rather than a grocery store has pretty much everything that you can see in the other grocery store. It's a new construction, and the price reflects that, however, they do have some unique items that aren't sold in the area, so it's still a good addition to the Philadelphia Chinatown neighborhood. Another good thing is that they do take credit cards without a minimum limit. Would recommend for you to at least check it out. read more

Don't be fooled by the main floor. It's fine. It has some cute nonsense and some really cool 3D DIY miniature rooms (which I absolutely love but that's beside the point). The point is that the basement is a huge grocery store!!! Like, really big. Three times as big as the main floor. Full of Asian snacks and candy and food and beauty products. It's outstanding! All the flavors of chips and KitKats and Oreos and everything that are only in Asia. Like milk tea flavored KitKats and hot pot flavored lays chips. And then a bunch of stuff that has no equivalent here. And tons of beverages. So much ramen. Many mochis. And the prices are great! They're not doing the "exotic snack" thing where they quadruple the price. Instead, the price is just the price. It's delightful down there. read more

What a great... and MASSIVE store! This shop has not just "a bit" but A LOT of everything! The downstairs grocery has everything from beauty items, housewares, small cooking tools and appliances, and LOTS of Asian groceries for very fair prices! I know where I am going to stock up my pantry on black vinegar, soy sauces, peppers and spices, and more! There are also refrigerated/frozen items like ramen, ice cream, meat, meals, and many packaged snacks and drinks. The staff are all really nice and excited about the new store. Despite how busy it is, there are lots of items in stock and people were constantly adding more while I shopped and took photos to send to friends :) There is a small dining area downstairs to eat! Upstairs there is jewelry, toys, plushies, and several gachapon and claw machines! The LEDs and music are so fun. Tokens can be our purchases to play the games at the cashier counter. read more

This is such a fascinating place because it is very unassuming in the basement of a gift shop like front. We legit didn't know where we were until I asked the cashier where we were. in short, it is a cute Japanese/korean/chinese store that mostly specializes in home goods, cute stationary, dried goods, frozen foods, candies, and fun novelties. It is very different from the stores above that are often a bit more run down, older and not as clean. this place make you feel like you stepped into a mall, clean, bright, and sterile appearing. It is very fun here and prices are overall very cheap. If I lived here, it is a dangerous place to be for the wallet since they stock asian cosmetics, soaps, stationary, hair ties, and everything is so cute and fun you'll want to just hang out here all day. I am not sure if I would buy the frozen food here- it seems to be lacking in business in this section but I can attest everything else is authentic, fun and so far nothing has broken or been poor quality upon reaching home weeks later. read more

The staff were extremely rude from the moment I walked in, and several employees treated me as if I were going to steal something. Many of them seemed to look down on customers, acting superior despite the fact that plenty of the people they judge are likely better off than they are. The manager, or whoever is in charge, appeared to constantly judge everyone and everything. When I came in with my friend who has darker skin, employees repeatedly stared and glared at us, which felt clearly discriminatory. Their behavior comes across as racist and completely unprofessional. I have personally witnessed employees go through customers' bags, find nothing, and then look visibly upset as if they were hoping to catch someone doing something wrong. On top of that, there was an incident where I purchased a lip gloss that had no price listed. The cashier had to go to the back to ask a manager for the price, which took an unreasonable amount of time and caused the line to back up. This lack of organization only added to an already frustrating experience. Overall, this store has serious issues with professionalism, customer service, and how they treat people. read more

I took my kids to all the top-rated spots in Philadelphia but this little Japanese mini mart was their favorite place we visited. I don't blame them, even late at night the store is super welcoming with it's bright lights and kawaii decor everywhere. We explored each and every aisle -- - there is a mixture of claw machines and Sanrio + anime plushies and accessories. Literally everything a little girl (or adult) could want. We were about to leave when we noticed rainbow steps beckoning us to visit downstairs. I am so glad we went because downstairs is a EVEN BIGGER and filled with much more surprises from like cute houseware, stationary, and Asian snacks. It looks like they even had a little food court but it was not open when we went. Truly a fun wonderland! We dropped many, many coins here. Do not buy food here! They must have problems with refrigeration because all the noodles I bought were thawed out and refrozen mushy, and had been growing mold. I tried to settle with the store and they hung up on me and would not listen that they're selling rotten food! I was well within the 2 hour policy. This is a pretty new store in Chinatown. Looks can be deceiving, as it appears small at first, but there is an absolutely huge store in the basement. Let me make myself clear, I have been to this store many times. I have spent hundreds of dollars here. I have introduced this store to my friends. But for them to completely search my friend and I and take our bags, search them, bring them back and forth across the censor AT LEAST 8 times, make us walk back and forth with AND without our bags AT least 6 times despite it only ringing the first two times we walked through is crazy. I understand you gotta make sure no one steals from you guys but the fact that we cleared out bags let them check and they still made us walk back and forth so many times is crazy.
