Great card shop, good prices for the cards. The parking space is very small but overall this card shop is really good.

I was told by an employee named Panda that the item could not be returned because it had been opened. I understand that businesses have return policies, but as a consumer, how are you supposed to know whether an item works or meets your needs without opening and trying it? What bothered me most was not the policy itself, but the attitude and lack of customer service. Instead of simply explaining, "Unfortunately, once this item is opened, it is considered final sale," I was met with an unnecessarily cold and dismissive attitude. We asked to speak with a manager, and another employee came out with an attitude as well and told us they were not going to process the return. We eventually spoke with the owner, who was understanding and approved the return. When Panda came back to process it, he snatched the receipt out of my hand and completed the return with the same cold attitude. I want to be clear: if the policy had been explained to me politely and respectfully from the beginning, I would have accepted it and walked away. Customers should not have to argue or escalate a situation just to be treated with basic courtesy. Employees represent the business. Regardless of how much a customer spends, everyone deserves to be treated respectfully. Unfortunately, because of this experience and the way we were treated, we will not be returning to this store. A simple, respectful explanation could have completely changed the outcome of this interaction

This location is in Lawndale serving the South Bay Beach Cities of Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach and Torrance. The owner and staff I say are very welcoming as you enter and gracious as you shop and appreciative as you leave. They have a very family friendly attitude and show kindness towards kids / children. The pricing is convenient and good, especially for non-investor reseller collector types who just enjoy lego. They have a lot of pre-built Legos that might be missing the mini-figures but sell for a fraction of the FMV (Fair Market Value) making them intriguing deals for the base sets that are often retired and hard to find. The selection is good, and because it deals in collectibles and often retired and used Legos, you should visit this location often. I found the pricing on used merchandise to be comparable to other Bricks & Minifigs stores if not maybe even cheaper here. Parking is easy and this is accessible via the 405 north/south freeway off-ramps with minimal inland street driving. Support your local merchants.

I went in this past week with some retired and complete sets but they only offered me a low percentage. When I asked for a better offer they laughed at me and said good luck. Very unprofessional. Plus, the employees here are very unwelcoming. They only use their phones and if you ask for help, you can visibly see how much you annoy them.

I'm currently in the market for a particular pokemon card and saw that they carried pokemon cards (along with base ball, foot ball, etc). I was looking for a particular one and didn't find it. But for the ones I DID see, I'd say the values for them were fairly priced. There's a lot of parking in the back. The spots are spacious too so that's a plus. I think I may find myself coming back here in the future :)

A couple of salesmen (the IG guys) are really good but just left the store and I'm not happy at all. I saw a Brady auto Jaspys had listed on eBay for 6999. I'm a high end collector so I was considering it but wanted to take a look first. I looked at all the cases and didn't see it so I asked one salesman (Hispanic with glasses) and he told me it should be in one of 2 premium showcases. Didn't try to look with me and just turned away. It wasn't there. I then asked another young guy behind the register (short hair, kinda like a bowl cut) that I had seen the card on eBay, showed him on my phone, and asked if it was in the showcases. His response, "Probably not." That's it! Nothing else. No explanation or anything. I'm sorry but if I have a customer who might potentially buy a 7K card I do much better than what I just experienced. I usually wait to post reviews when the service is bad but this was a jab followed by a right hook. Come on, man. Do better Jaspys.
