Boxing and bachelorette party is kinda the most random and best combo out there and Boxfit SD customized a whole class for a bachelorette party! It was amazing! We all had so much fun! The trainers made this experience amazing! Would highly recommend and we will for sure be back!

I booked a class through class pass. Went to the class on Wednesday at 4:30pm. The instructor Mike, was friendly and really helpful for my first class. Explain step by step everything to me and my friend. The weather was warm so the class was pretty intense for me. Kept drinking to stay hydrated. The spot was nice, there is some shades for the end of the class to be working out on the yoga mat. Parking is really easy. Time flies because it was pretty challenging and multiple excercise. The workout was definitely cardio.

Mike is the owner and he is AMAZING! He's patient, kind and loves what he does. He brings energy, different exercises and awesome music ranging from old school hip- hop, 80s, EDM, and Latin flavor música! If you happen to forget your boxing gloves, Mike's got you covered, you can borrow a pair! We start out with warm ups and the he goes over each station, all while enjoying the nice outdoors! The stations are broken down into 3 categories; shadowboxing/ heavy bag workout, 1 in 1 mit work out and strength and strengthening! It's super fun and I've met great people who all encourage each other to do our best!

Super fun class and a great work out. Vinny the instructor was very helpful with technique corrections and motivating us to push ourselves. I've taken the class a few times now with the ClassPass app and will be back!

Conveniently located on First Street and accessible 24 hours, the gym is clean and well-maintained. Occupying the entire ground floor of a building, it has a feeling of spaciousness about it. Doors that open to the small patio area, along with ceiling fans, enable good air circulation throughout the space. Fellow gym-goers are friendly and always willing to engage when you approach them about routines or exercises. No attitude at this place whatsoever. People are genuinely happy to share their successes and reflections on their own self-journeys to fitness, which makes the gym feel like not only a place the place where you can go to work out, but also a place where you can continually learn from other gym enthusiasts about ways to improve your own focus on physical improvement. A sense of a community among people with a common interest in health and fitness, and a willingness to share it, are two of of the most unique and notable characteristics of this gym. The owner, Keith Deidrich, pays meticulous attention to the gym's layout and functionality, resulting in a nice rotation of machines and weights throughout the space. It's exciting to come in to find a new machine, such as the very impressive cable crossover set up, complete with high bars for dead-hangs and pull-ups, or a one-of-a-kind lat pull-over machine that requires the force of your elbows, placed on pads and pushing down, to accomplish the exercise. It's like a squat machine for the upper body. In addition to the machines and freeweights, the gym has add-on weight blocks in gradations of two-and-a-half pounds that are custom-made to be inserted on top of the machine pulley racks to increase the resistance in smaller increments when the built-in 10- or 15-pound increases are too much of a step-up. Being able to use these blocks has enabled me to slowly increase the amount I'm lifting without making a jump up to a higher weight that is just too heavy. And there are plenty of cardio machines as well. In short, this neighborhood-centered gym with its relaxed vibe, excellent equipment, and friendly and respectful members makes working out a highlight of my daily schedule.

The gym is huge to start so it is almost guaranteed that the machine you want will be available, even during peak hours. They really pride themselves on cleanliness and that is the most important aspect to me. Members are always wiping down their equipment before and after use and the employees are periodically cleaning all around. The locker rooms & restrooms are spacious with many spots available so that there is no stalling between guests. The amenities are wonderful - sauna, steam, tanning, gym equipment, kids club - EVERYTHING!! Do a 7 day trial and I promise you will be anting to sign up on day 3!

It was the primary reason I joined. Unfortunately, the circuit has never functioned as described. Staff doesn't enforce the intended rotation, and members routinely treat the machines like standard equipment -- sitting between sets, often on their phones, with no regard for others trying to move through. When I asked to work in during rest periods, I was met with outright rudeness. Even when staff stepped in to explain the circuit guidelines, members pushed back. A gym is only as good as the culture it cultivates. Enforcing the features you sell -- and holding members to basic courtesy standards -- should be non-negotiable. This gap between what was promised and what I experienced is why I cancelled my membership. I was also sold a personal training package by their independent in-house fitness training company and it was also not as presented--the trainer didn't listen to me, cut my session short, and never gave me the exercise plan as promised. I'm still fighting to get my $379 back for this.

It takes a lot to impress me, and Coach Malcolm genuinely did. I walked into Anytime Fitness in University Heights expecting a workout. I walked out feeling like I had found someone who actually understands how to coach people, not just train them. He has an incredible ability to read the person in front of him, adjust in real time, and push without ever making you feel discouraged. The knowledge is obvious, but what stayed with me was how present he was. Every correction had a purpose. Every conversation mattered. I left feeling stronger, more confident, and excited to come back. Coach Malcolm is the kind of coach people hope they'll find and rarely do. I'm incredibly grateful for the experience.

One elliptical, five treadmills, and 28 people in a small space means a lot of waiting instead of working out. After a deposit, an additional $130 at 90 days, and $60 a month, reasonable access shouldn't feel like a competition. If you enjoy timing your workouts around equipment availability, this may work for you. If not, it's something to consider before signing up.

I've personally have not tried other "similar" type of gyms but from the feedbacks of others I've talked to, this gym's program and setup is one of the most effective.
