Scottish pub in old city Knoxville, Tennessee with over 1000 types of scotch whiskey available The staff here are so friendly and knowledgeable. They can answer all of your questions and can make recommendations so no need to feel overwhelmed. The interior is cozy, rustic and looks like a Scottish pub I got the rich and decadent and enjoyed. One thing that really endeared me to this bar was the live music. I felt like I was living in a bridgerton scene. I didn't try the food, but the menu looks yummy

My husband says this was the best fish and chips he has had since 1990 Sunset Beaches Irish Mist. Everything was perfect from the drinks to the food to the service to the overall vibe. 100% coming back here again!

Brown Betty was their special desert and it was apple pie filling, a dough Buscuit resembling a crescent and a scoop of ice cream. No seasoning just bland and took 25 minutes to be served.

The food here is always unique and delicious. Our server was a sweetheart and recommended lots of great drinks! They often have live music and a fantastic whiskey selection!! Give them a try!

Initial review based on a lunch visit w/ no entertainment, so bear that in mind. I'd give a 5/5 on the drinks and 4/5 on the food. I was expecting a little more on the portion size based on the price, but hey at least I ate it all! :) The venue looks awesome and the menu was a lot of staple dishes you'd expect with the overall theme. I want to come back when the music is going on the other side to enjoy it. Now that I've actually got to go to Ireland & Scotland in my life, I can say the look and feel reminds me of a few different venues we visited (esp. the red like the Temple Bar). So cool to have this in Knoxville. Go and check out their renound selection of drinks!

Oh, I love this place! The bar is so cool, and I love the atmosphere! It is such a great old building. Everything is awesome, from the gas lamp over the front door to the awesomely decorated interior dining room and bar room. It feels so comfortable and authentic. The servers are great and the food is good, I highly recommend the pretzels and beer cheese and the corned beef is the best I have ever had. Don't leave without trying one of their amazing desserts! And if you like scotch whiskey, they have over 1,000 to choose from.

Our pup travels everywhere with us, so finding these spots is important to us. It was very spacious too - so we weren't on top of other guests. They have an extensive menu and the same with the beer list. There is something for everyone, from hoppy IPAs to fruity sours. Not sure which beer you may like - get a sample. Or try a flight! For lunch, we got the deviled eggs to start - something that is a go-to for us. They were solid and enjoyable. For the main, we opted for the Abridged burger and the Chicken club. Both were solid as well. Fries were crispy, but a bit over-salted, and I enjoy some salt. So made a note for next time to "go light". Service was good too. Overall - really only a tiny detail to 'complain' about, but easily taken care of next time. We will be back for sure - I want to try their pizza!

After last night I'm not sure if we will ever return. We were seated outside at a table that was right in front of the in and out doors. We waited almost 15 minutes before someone came to wait on this. Honestly this would have been longer if my husband hadn't gone in to ask about a server for our table. Mind you, there were plenty of servers walking to help the other tables around us as we were waiting. Finally a server walked up, her name started with an A, and she was very flippant with helping us. I ordered a beer and my husband ordered water and son ordered a soda. We also went on and ordered since we had no idea when she would return for our order. She brought the water and soda but no beer and then we didn't see her (at our table) until our food came out. My beer came out with the food, a good 10 minutes after I ordered it. I know you may be thinking that the bar was backed up but her other table (that arrived after) got their drinks right away and also a 2nd order of drinks before I received my beer. She never came to check on us with our food and spent more time at the table that arrived with her friends. Her attitude and personality was vastly different with our table versus her friend's table. When it came time to get us our check. I saw her roll her eyes and walked towards us. I let it slide instead of calling her out on her actions as I just wanted to leave. We paid our check and left. I truly feel like this will be our last time here because of the service we received. We have many friends who travel to Knoxville for various sporting events (since I'm in that industry) and I always recommend Stock and Barrel. After last night, I'll be recommending some other place.

It was fairly busy when I visited, and there was a line to get beer, which isn't a problem. I happen to see a friend of mine waiting in line to get a beer. I walked over to speak with him. We hadn't seen each other in probably five or six years. Another guy cut in line right in front of him before he could get his beer. Then, when it was my friends turn, the bartender (Josh) was less than friendly. I realize that they're just pouring beer, but the gentleman was decidedly unfriendly, he did not smile even once; he did not even indicate that he was ready to take an order in anyway by acknowledging us with a look or anything. Heck, he didn't even speak to us. Honestly, he was just rude & beyond unfriendly. I don't get it. If you do not like your job, get a new one. If you don't like pouring beer for people (which does seem like a super great job), get a different job. The fact that he would be there on what appeared to be a fairly busy night, which is good for the business, and be so unpleasant is beyond my comprehension. So, the beer selection is very eclectic, with something for everyone. It's super great that you can buy beer to go. The female bartender was awesome. I'm conflicted on what sort of review that I should give Admiral pub, because there were so many positive aspects to it, except Josh pretty much ruined the entire experience by his sour demeanor (although I adore sour beers) and persistent scowl.
