If you don't like pouring beer for people (which does seem like a super great job), get a different job. The fact that he would be there on what appeared to be a fairly busy night, which is good for the business, and be so unpleasant is beyond my comprehension. I sat at the bar and was greeted almost immediately by the bartender (Laura M.), who was friendly and attentive throughout. The couple of other patrons nearby were also welcoming. At this point, I'm starting to think that might just be a Knoxville thing. This was my third trip to the city, I think, and I've had a similar experience each time. I would have liked a little more sausage on the Scotch egg, but that is about the only critique I can come up with. The star of the meal was my wife's order of Bangers and Mash. The Bangers were good but the mashed potatoes with gravy and onions were perfect. If I were ordering again that's what I would get. If you are okay with minimal table service and slightly loud music, then I would definitely give it a shot.
