You cannot beat customer service on that level!! I stopped by there recently in need of assistance with my windshield wipers and two employees, literally, rushed at the chance to install them for me free-of-charge! Not only was Shattalon Tire & Automotive's price 1/2 than what their so-called competitors were asking for, the mechanics Robert, Derek & T.J. were pleasant to communicate with before, during and after my appointment. After being told it would be best to make an appointment the next morning due to the fact that they were short-staffed the day before, I arrived the following day around 11:00 AM & was driving my SUV back off of their lot at 12:30 PM! While I waited 90-minutes for my oil change to be complete, I enjoyed sitting, watching TV and conversing with other customers within their air-conditioned waiting area where hot, fresh, complimentary coffee is offered. Even their unisex bathroom was kept sparkling and well-stocked with sanitizing hand soap and rolls of toilet paper. After my car's oil was changed, mechanic Robert happily gave me a list of rates for things I may need done in the future (such as wheel alignment & rotations, timer & serpentine belt replacements, brakes replacements, etc.), which I greatly appreciated since MOST other mechanics throughout Winston-Salem will often reply to such inquiries with the typical and foolish comment: "we can't really say what it'll cost until we see your car!" Needless to say, I've found my trustworthy mechanics to show my loyalty to and they're all inside of Shattalon Tire & Automotive! I had to return the vehicle within a few days because my alignment was terribly off pulling to the left fairly hard They fixed it and I was on my way One month later I woke up to a completely flat tire and had to go back again. There was a hole in my new tire and it had to be patched. They charged me $33. It's frustrating to say the least as I expect that when you buy 4 new tires and an alignment you wouldn't need to keep returning with issues. I would not recommend this location and/or mavis in general as I am questioning the quality of their products.

Since this is the only car my parents have, it was important that they be able to get the car back as soon as possible. I called and spoke with two different associates at Firestone, and each time I was impressed with the level of customer service. Brendan and Deb are awesome! They ensured all the work done on the truck was done to a high standard. I also greatly appreciate the extra effort they extended to help my parents get the truck back in working order so promptly. Put the tire on and googled tires near me and this place came up. Drove over and they didn't have my size tire in stock but they were able to order new ones and had them on and out the door in an hour and a half. It's your local hometown place we're they are extremely nice and helpful. No high pressure to replace all the tires, I was told I could get away with one but I replaced the front two. So if you need someone you can trust and don't feel pressured into anything this is the place. Found by accident but turned a negative into a positive.
