The Q7 has had severe, consistent overheating issues since the day I drove it off the lot -- the temperature climbs or warnings activate after only 10-15 minutes of driving, even on short trips. We've been forced to limit use to 5-minute school drop-offs or hospital runs only. Vehicles Nashville had already kept the vehicle for multiple long visits (nearly 4 weeks twice, then 2 weeks) claiming water pump replacement and pressure tests, but the problem persisted immediately upon each return. They eventually washed their hands of it and recommended Valdez Motorsport. Unfortunately, Valdez Motorsport was equally unhelpful. They failed to diagnose or repair the overheating issue. No effective work was done, and I received no invoice or documentation of any services performed. Blame was simply shifted back toward the dealership, leaving me with the same dangerous problem and no resolution. This has been incredibly stressful and costly. I now spend about $40 per week on coolant and oil just to keep the vehicle marginally drivable while severely restricting mileage. The unreliability has added enormous burden during our family's medical challenges -- chemo treatments that began in November 2025 and my child's glioma diagnosis and hospital stay in early October 2025. We live in constant fear of breakdown during critical medical or school trips and have had to cancel family activities we were looking forward to. I expected an honest diagnosis and actual repair work from a recommended shop, especially for a European vehicle like an Audi. Instead, I got no meaningful help and was left to mask the symptoms myself. Valdez Motorsport, if you are reading this, please provide a proper diagnosis and fix using quality parts, or at least be transparent about why the issue could not be resolved after the dealership's failed attempts. Families dealing with health crises should not have to deal with unreliable transportation on top of everything else. I cannot recommend Valdez Motorsport based on this experience. If you're sent here by Vehicles Nashville for an Audi repair, proceed with extreme caution and get everything in writing.

It's 12 degrees out, I'm driving, the heat goes out and shortly the car shows that it's overheating. The car was in the shop at IAM for 9 days, they replaced a fan they said was warped, and were about to remove most of the engine to get to a sensor. I had just talked to a co-worker about it and he said what I described was the water pump. Another co-worker came over hearing this and also said it was the water pump. I call them up and say "everyone I talk to says it's the water pump, why don't you check that". 2 hours later I'm told that my water pump was bad. I got charged (if I remember correctly) over $1000 for fans that were slightly warped, labor, water pump, etc. They replaced the water pump with the inferior VW one with the plastic impeller. It dies 1 year 3 months later. I really don't feel like listing out the list of what all I feel was done wrong to my car, perhaps IAM's a better place now. Perhaps years of learning how to work on a Beetle have jaded me. I think they might be closer to normal pricing for high-end cars, such as the wankle engine listed below, but I paid IAM a lot over a couple of years for a car that was probably worth roughly that, and i had to keep taking it back. I left and went to another shop in 2005, my car bills halved and my time between repairs extended greatly, although that could be that everything that was going to break broke and was replaced. I don't hate them, just not going back. They were nice people as I remember.

Had seen reviews and Essy seemed widely respected. Gave him a call. He answered and I asked if he could fit me in. He apologized that he couldn't because he was at his daughter's graduation that day but that if I called back Monday he'd see if he could fit me in. I ultimately found another shop nearby that also had good reviews with immediate availability and it was a good experience, but just wanted to say how much I admired Essy answering my call. I felt like he did in case it was an emergency repair situation (it obviously wasn't), which definitely reflects what his customers say about him. And to apologize about his availability bc he was attending a major event for his loved one... being gracious and generous is definitely in his nature. So just wanted to share that :-)
