It became an intersection that we could never walk by without my dog making a bee-line over to greet Sam. I started patronizing the gas station for gas just because of Sam's cheerful and friendly personality. His employees are always pleasant and efficient, gas prices VERY fair for full service and though I have not gone there for any auto repair/service yet, I would feel comfortable bringing my vehicle there for that. Sam's motto "another day in paradise" is his attitude every day regardless of the harsh conditions he endures on the roughest of days. It's refreshing to be greeted this way all of the time! Otherwise, it's all been quick and easy, and affordable. There's no kind of waiting area -- a few chairs and a television you'd have to break your neck to see -- but Stop & Shop is next door, so you can while away the time browsing magazines you aren't going to buy or examining the extensive jam selection.

Instead of taking responsibility, the owner and staff denied it, saying it must have happened after I left. The truth is I hurriedly left the station and discovered the damage less than two minutes later. When I returned, I was humiliated and disregarded. The owner was dismissive, refused to even ask the inspector what happened, and tried to intimidate me into leaving. He even called the police when I insisted on accountability. This treatment felt discriminatory and completely unprofessional. To make matters worse, I had seen a similar incident happen to another customer before, which shows this is not an isolated case but a disturbing pattern. Consumers deserve fairness, honesty, and accountability, none of which I received here. I strongly warn others not to go to this location for inspections or any service.

While they were inside, a man whom I can only assume was the owner came out and began yelling at me across the parking lot about the restroom. When my husband exited the bathroom due to the YELLING he was hearing, he then continued to yell at my husband and talk over us repeating the conversation and swearing. We always try to be respectful of service stations as well as purchase items if we have to use any utilities but after he threatened to call the police and began involving other customers acting like my husband was threatening him when he asked what was going on, we left with our young child for her safety. My advice to the owner of this station is to put up a sign indicating the bathrooms at your gas station are not for public use. I understand the singular toilet flush is probably more overhead cost than that business can handle but holy cow get a life. And a sign.
