BP Tailor has been a YELP fan favorite since 2018 and my favorite since my first tailoring need in 2019. The tailors do excellent work. Grace and her team can pretty much do anything you need done. Turn around time is usually about two weeks, but they can work with your timeframe if needed. Tailoring is expensive. BP charges what other tailor services in the area do, so when I say I spent $144 on tailoring a dress and denim jumpsuit, know what to expect. I paid $345 for hemming, taking in, and the addition of a bustle on my wedding dress. They did a great job with the alterations! My issue is that after getting the dress back, I noticed under a different lighting, what appear to be water spots all over the dress. I'm unsure if this occurred before or after tailoring and there isn't a way to tell. read more

I found this place thanks to my fellow Yelpers, it's in the corner of a small shopping center, the parking is decent but gets busy since it's next to a nail salon, restaurants and liquor store. Mrs. Kim is the sweetest and best lady tailor I've met. She hemmed and repaired some work scrubs for me. They have a clean and pleasant shop. This is my go to place for all things tailoring. Grace is super kind and I've never had an issue. Her work is flawless. After putting off getting a bridesmaid hemmed I was left with a short amount of time to get the dress ready before a wedding. I reached out to multiple places and ended up picking this location due to the convenience to my house and office and they promised they could get it done in time. I'm glad I came here. I went to BP Tailor in December because I needed the zippers repaired on a pair of leather boots and three dresses for work altered. In December, and at the time of writing this review, "Zipper Replacement & Repair" was/is listed as one of the services offered by this business, which was a huge reason why I chose BP Tailor. As soon as I walked in and I started trying to explain to Grace that I needed the boots' zippers repaired, she interrupted me and said, "We don't do shoes." I told her, "These are brand new boots; they don't need repairs. The zippers are the only problem." The zipper tracks have too many threads in them, making the zippers really hard to pull up and down. Trimming down the excess threads would be difficult for me because I'm legally blind, but should be no problem for a tailor, especially one that lists "Zipper Replacement & Repair" among its services. But Grace didn't even let me explain. So ok. Onto the dresses. I had three dresses that I bought to wear to work. They were all just a tad too long on my 5'4" frame, and they all needed the waist taken in, as they were pretty shapeless. She charged me $123 for these three dresses. It took her mere seconds to stick pins in the dresses, and I can't imagine the actual tailoring work merited $41 per dress! I am giving three stars because she did an adequate job altering these three dresses, and from the reviews, it does seem that she consistently does quality work. However, for the price, I'll keep my work dresses long and shapeless from now on! read more

I brought my wedding dress to BP tailor for alterations. I had been to another tailor who told me they would have to take the dress entirely apart and that they would need to charge me 1800 dollars. I brought the dress to Grace and her partner for a second opinion. Grace was warm and welcoming. She took a lot of time with me to figure out what I wanted. She and her partner did a fantastic job with the alterations!! I am so excited to get to wear my dress for our wedding! BP Tailor went above and beyond and they also asked for a price I could afford. In a perfect world, those 150 dollar pair of jeans would be the perfect length, that 200 dollar cocktail dress would fit just right, and those sleeves on your new blazer would never fall past your hands. Unfortunately, very few of us live in that perfect world so thank goodness for people like Bp Tailor! I have been relying on the nice couple that works here for years. I trust them with everything from formal dresses to business suits to even just plain shirts. Need it in a rush? Just ask and it shouldn't be a problem. She does her best to fit your schedule and is very reliable when it comes to making sure your garment is done right and on time! When doing a fitting, you can tell she is very meticulous to make sure she is marking just right and does her best to ensure that the intention behind the fit of the clothing is not lost with the alterations. Hidden in this tiny strip mall with just a sign stating "Tailor" above it, this place might go unnoticed. But for those with alteration needs, it's definitely worth the find. read more

Absolutely worst experience I've ever had from a tailor. Found this place on Yelp due to the awesome reviews but I do not recommend! Brought in a bridesmaid dress, needed my bust area and shoulders hemmed. She quoted me $108 (which is insanely expensive for the work that needed to be done) and also said she would have it done in a week. She called me the day I was suppose to pick it up and she needed an extra day to finish it (making me cut it real close to the wedding day). I picked it up, tried it on and it was perfect on one side but looked like there was no work done on the other side. Lady told me she could fix it in 5 mins, so I waited, tried it on again and it was worse!!! It was not smoothed and it still was big on the side of my breast, she didn't seem to worry about taking new measurementS. Then the lady said that I would have to come back the next day. I then told her that I already have waited a week, picked it up a day later than expected and I also needed the dress by the next day so that wouldn't work. She then offered for me to come back in 45 mins. I came back, tried it on and it was still lose on that one side. Looked like she didn't even do anything to the side of it, except for smoothing it out. She then told me that she couldn't do anything else to it. She then took $10 off (woah) and wouldn't give me any other discount. I should of not had to pay anything for this horrible job. I had to pin it up myself and make sure it was not noticeable in photos. Horrible horrible experience. I DO NOT recommend BP. Very expensive, rushed, lazy and not talented. read more

Shortly after beginning a new position, my company's president came into town and I had to get my suit altered last minute. BP tailors were wonderful; they rushed my order and didn't overcharge me for it. They ended up having to shorten the sleeves at the shoulders due to the button detailing at the wrists, which certainly took more work, and it turned out great. Grace (the owner I believe?) was very sweet on top of being so accommodating. I will be back for all of my alterations moving forward! read more

I made an appointment for a dress alteration. I was cautious because she altered a previous dress for me and completely ruined it - the seams didn't match up and there were weird ripples of fabric. I was in a pinch so I was willing to give it another try. From the moment I walked in I was met with insults, eye rolls, and loud grunts. She quickly put some pins in the dress, making it look completely lopsided, and declared she was busy so my time was up. I was in tears, begging her to please fix my dress so that at least it was wearable - she said "then I'm charging you extra" and scribbled +$40 on a piece of paper and showed it to me. I was stunned, she was charging me extra simply because she was busy and wanted to get back to her other work. I asked her about the time line - the wedding was in a month and I needed to know if it would be ready by then, she goes "are you kidding me?" And said that maybe it would be ready, maybe not. Really overpriced for the services. Wanted to charge me $100+ tax for a couple of patches to be sewed on. A couple min job at most. Hand sewed them and saved myself the hundred*reply to owners response: this was the correct tailor. I did remove all patches, they are crazy and overpriced still and now lying about what services I wanted and what they told me in person. read more
