We used to bring our car to A1 Hand Car Wash almost every other week and for a while they did a really great job. Unfortunately, over time the prices continued to go up while the quality of service steadily went downhill. They stopped providing basic items that were supposed to be included, constantly claiming they were "out" of them. Paper floor mats were no longer being placed in the vehicle, windows were missed, vacuuming was incomplete, and overall the cleaning became extremely inconsistent, including frequently being out of the fragrance chips they used to provide. Almost every visit turned into us having to point out multiple things that were skipped before we could even leave. What became even more frustrating was how much longer the process started taking. We were paying premium prices yet receiving rushed and incomplete service while waiting longer and longer each visit. Eventually we contacted the manager directly because we had been loyal customers and simply wanted the service we were paying for. He told us to bring the car back and assured us he would "take care of it." When we returned, instead of correcting the poor experience, he offered us "half off" another wash, meaning we were still expected to pay again to fix a problem that should have been handled properly the first time. Even worse, after he quoted us a reduced price, the employee taking payment refused to honor it and tried charging us even more. At that point there was a long line behind us, and we were frustrated, embarrassed, and exhausted from arguing over something that never should have happened in the first place. We paid the extra amount, received the same sloppy and incomplete job they now normally provide, and left. That was the last time we ever went there and we will never return. We now make sure to tell our friends and family not to waste their money there either, and we felt it was important to share our experience here so others can avoid wasting both their time and money. The most disappointing part wasn't even just the poor cleaning quality. It was the complete lack of accountability and customer service after years of loyalty and a significant amount of money spent there over time. When a business charges high-end prices, customers expect high-end service. Unfortunately, that's no longer what this place provides.

He nudged appropriately and when I explained the math didn't work (usage vs cost), he understood and continued to provide service with a smile and bid me a good day. Annabelle needs to work for SMF, the way she was directing the vacuum station traffic...she was on it! Such a sweet, young lady, I paused to shared I'd been observing her and that she was doing an amazing job managing guests that were using the vacuums and being mindful of those waiting for the vacuums. My husband pays for their monthly membership which is always convenient - they just scan the license plate and you go on through. I'm not sure how much he pays for the membership, but you can go as many times as you want - every day, once a week, twice a week! I like seeing the different colors that display across your windshield and sometimes you can see the Quick Quack logo. Overall, if you're looking for a fast car wash, Quick Quack Car Wash does the job - they also offer free vacuums as well. So it's nice to get the car washed and then clean the inside as well. I spoke with Henry and the price seemed reasonable so I scheduled an appointment and sure was glad I did. Let me say I do try my best to maintain my cars by waxing them and washing them myself but Henry was able to remove the oxidation on the paint and remove all the water spots on the side and on my rims. Diesel fuel is so sketchy in California, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas as it is - I don't want to drive around with the worst of the worst. My hot take on it is that these are states where the EPA took over... and so the fuel itself is worse for your vehicle in these states and better for the environment.
