My only complaint inside the salon is the waiting area. The bench isn't very comfortable, so it's not much fun for my husband when he waits for me. On my last visit, Meredith was my stylist, and she was fantastic. She really listened to what I wanted, our conversation was easy and enjoyable, and my hair turned out exactly how I hoped. I'll definitely be requesting her from now on! My only other complaint is the location. I have to drive all the way to Cedar Park or South Austin since they closed their north location. I really hope they reopen one in North Austin, just not at The Domain. Parking in garages down the street is a hassle, especially when there are much more convenient locations available.

I booked online and even added the deep conditioning treatment and head massage because I wanted the full experience. Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of my expectations. When I arrived, there was no greeting or welcome, just someone eventually looking up to check me in. The waiting benches were also surprisingly uncomfortable, with the window ledges digging into my back. Once I was taken back, there was almost no communication. No "Is this your first time here?", no explanation of the process, no confirmation of the services I'd booked, and not even a quick check that the water temperature was comfortable. I also wasn't turned toward the mirror during the service, so I couldn't even see what was being done. The salon was unusually quiet overall, with very little interaction between stylists and clients, which made the atmosphere feel a bit impersonal. To make matters worse, my stylist realized only at checkout that she had forgotten to perform both of the add-on services I had paid for. She did issue me a credit after speaking with her manager, but since I had booked those services specifically for that visit, a future credit didn't really make up for the missed experience. The blowout itself was perfectly fine, but that's only part of why people book appointments like this. Most people can dry their own hair at home; the value is in feeling cared for, relaxed, and a little spoiled. I walked in excited for a special treat after a difficult few weeks and walked out feeling more disappointed than refreshed.

I went to this salon two times and saw Maddie; she claimed she could get me back to platinum blonde the first time I saw her at $300 a visit for three visits. After the second visit, she informed me that she did not specialize in what I wanted and that she would see me one more time, then she would pass me off to someone else. I decided then that I did not want to see her again, so I told her to cancel my next appointment. Apparently, she did not cancel my appointment; instead, she decided to charge my credit card almost $450 for a no-call, no-show, but my appointment would not have even cost that to start with. She literally canceled my appointment for $300, then tried to act like it would have been almost $450 for a service I never received. Management stands behind their stylist even when they are wrong; just look at the bad reviews. Management does not care about their clients. Luckily, my bank reversed the charges. I wish I could figure out how to add pictures. I have emails where she sent a email saying the appointment for $300 was canceled, then sent another appointment email saying I had an appointment for $450 immediately after canceling the original appointment. I never noticed the emails until I saw the charge. Because of the emails and the fact that I did not receive any service or products, the bank reversed the charge.

I went here because my mom goes here and recommended It. First off I scheduled an appmt over the phone for 3pm on a Tuesday. I show up. They go oh you don't have an appointment. Ok. They didn't offer to make it better. They didn't discount me or work me in. They just said come back tomorrow. Ok. Came back for a SCHEDULED bleach and toner. I said I don't want gray or yellow/orange. I said I don't like silver or old lady white. I just want an ashy blonde that doesn't look yellow. Hannah bleached my hair. I told her it burned the entire time and she said that's normal. Ok. I had claustrophobia and she didn't care at all or offer to stop and rinse it out. I even asked can we skip my scalp and she just laughed. Ok Then came the toner. She put me off onto another person to do the toner because she'd double booked herself and that person was more important apparently. So she goes to cut and blow dry and shampoo other people while leaving me with an assistant. The toner came out yellow which is what I didn't want. So she tells her assistant to do it again. They do a different toner and it was burning so while she was washing someone else's hair I asked can someone come rinse this out? And she said ok. And she rinsed it out. Guess her assistant left. Then we go blow dry it. And I'm immediately shocked. To tears. It was OLD PEOPLE GRAY HAIR. Absolutely HATE IT. I look like I'm wearing a wig! Her solution - dawn dish soap. That's what she said to do. I don't even use dawn to wash dishes. I'm not putting it on my head to fix her mistake. I will NEVER step foot in a salon again. I don't care how many stars they have. They're pretentious and they charge you over $200 for something you hate. After THREE HOURS of an appointment I left crying in my car with a throbbing headache from the chemicals and my scalp feels burnt and my hair feels brittle as a crisp. The place reeks of formaldehyde and chemicals and there are no air purifiers or ventilation. I cannot believe I just did that. I will never waste money on a salon again. I am posting what I asked for. The cut and color. And I'm posting what she did. I came in to breeze today for the first time for a blow out, the girl asked if I wanted to add a…read moredeep conditioner so I did extra $26. then I had added the hot tools. she started to blow dry and most everyone I've ever used uses a roller brush to dry out the hair in a blow out smoothly before they style. she just used her hand and fingers and that was it. then when styling it she used a tiny barrel curling iron and some hairspray that wasn't in a can and then proc to used a diffuser after she had curled it and then pulled the curls out after all that. my hair was frizzy when I left and NOT AT ALL the blowouts I've usually gotten. not to mention I was fair and still tipped $10 but this was the WORST $93 blow out of my life.
