She was unable to walk so I carried her into the exam room where a tech took her pulse, told me it was an urgent case, then left me and the dog alone in the room for over an hour with no update. I finally called the front desk from my cell to let them know we'd been forgotten, then someone came in and said the doctor would be in soon. We waited another half an hour for the vet to come in. When she did, she was unprofessional and downright rude. Any questions I asked were met with irritation, defensiveness, and outright lies (like when she claimed she didn't need to examine the dog because a nurse had conveyed the results of her intake exam in the back, even though no exam had been conducted). I understand they were busy, and I appreciate that being a vet is stressful. But this experience was unacceptable. I will not bring my pets back to Upstate Veterinary Specialties, and would not recommend them to anyone experiencing a medical emergency with their pet.

They were so nice and made sure the other customers were out of his way when I brought him in. They also asked me if he needed a muzzle while getting his shots or not (which is a first since most vets automatically put it on him) but he's very good with shot and just stays still. And they did his anal glands in the room so he wasn't so stressed leaving since he has really bad arthritis. Overall I was very pleased with the service and even better was the cost. I spent less than $150 for everything including a few meds and spray - which is the least I've ever spent at a vet. I will be going here til my little old man is ready to leave me!

We have used Sarah's Petsitting for many years now. We have always been very happy with the care…read morethat they give our pets. They always give a full report at each visit including many photos. We always enjoy seeing the photos while away. We can see how happy they are. It is also nice how they check on our house too and bring in packages. I would like to give them a special shout out for the care that they gave our pets while we were away during a recent large snowstorm. We were concerned that they wouldn't be able to make it to our house because of the severity of the storm. they kept in touch and made sure that there was enough food and water for our fur babies in case they wee unable to make it back at the scheduled time. We didn't want them to endanger themselves and knew that they would be fine if they couldn't make it back. All went well and they reported back to us the next morning when the roads were cleared and they could make it back. They dug out a spot on the deck for our dog to get out and go the the bathroom and all was well. This is a great company and they truly love the pets that they are taiga care of.
