    Fried Clam Strips

This was my first time at bracco's and i don't think ill be returning, there were no options to sit inside which i didn't love and the bathrooms are tiny and could use a serious upgrade which they should be able to afford with the menu prices and sales from their merch but anyways on to the food, for the shrimp cocktail to be $20 and for them to not devein the shrimp is crazy, i know raw clams come with shells sometimes but mine had several, the mozzerella sticks were flavorless but the sauce had a nice taste, the fries were nothing special either, however the fried clams were probably the best bite of the meal the drinks were overpriced and very small. the server was nice but kinda disappeared at times,

I find their lobsters to be good on average. The mussels are good and so are the fries. I came here for a lobster dinner a few weeks back after spending the day at Long Island where Dad grew up in. The staff are nice and so are customers. The only downside is parking. It's a tough time finding good parking spots especially during busier weekends considering that it's down closer to the ocean and with Freeport being it's one of Long Island's tourist destinations, it's normal to find yourself have to walk past a couple of other buildings just to get there.

Good food, great service nice atmosphere on the nautical mile. We are a local business here in Freeport as well and Took a group of our practitioners to Broncos and had a great time. The Mind and Body Collective in Freeport grand opening New Spa.

It was a beautiful day to enjoy dinner in Freeport. My friends wanted to try this location so we sat by the water which was a beautiful view of the pier. I will admit that I did not like the service. I felt like the waitress only stopped by to take our order in the beginning but was not attentive after we got our food or drinks. She did not stop by to ask if we need anything and we had to keep flagging her down to ask for anything. The food itself was ok; we ordered the cold seafood platter which has lobster, shrimp cocktails and oysters. Everything was fresh but it was $70 which was a lot. The drinks were ok, they did not hit the spot like they should. The prices are elevated and weren't great for what we ate or drank. The place itself has a beautiful view and is great to sit by the marina to enjoy the view of the boats passing but I feel like I could find better restaurants on nautica mile.

I should have read the reviews before dining here, but I was in the area and wanted some fresh seafood. The restaurant is right on the water and honestly that is the one thing I enjoyed. The drinks were ok. I had a mango mojito it tasted like there wasn't any alcohol in it. Tasted like mango juice and mint. The fresh clams were good but the horseradish it was served with looked like it was previously frozen and thawing. The soft shell crab was ok definitely not worth the $39. The salad it was served with was old and croutons were stale. Overall it was overpriced for no reason.

Great ambiance! The food was pretty good. Sat at the bar outside. The service was just ok. I'd go back again and sit somewhere else to see if I'm treated any differently. The prices are good and the seafood seemed fresh. It was a Saturday night, and we arrived at about 10pm . Paid a cover fee of $10. I'm a female . I'm not sure what the male fee is. I was happy that the kitchen was still open. We ordered the twin baked lobsters with fries , calamari with fries and wings, everything was good. The dj was playing good music until exactly 10:59 pm on the dot. They do not play about the noise in the area lol. They offer silent party headphones to continue your partying. We just enjoyed the ability to have a conversation without screaming. It's a nice vibe on the water. Semi mixed crowd of patrons

This was my first time visiting Nautical Mile, and Bracco's was NOT the best choice of a restaurant. When we first arrived there was no one at the door, some random guy had to call one of the waitresses over to assist us. Once we sat down, we waited for someone to greet us, they were so unstructured that 4 different waitresses came at separate times attempting to take our order, after we had already put in for drinks with the first one. The food was not it AT ALL... I ordered a frozen pina colada, you couldn't even taste the alcohol. For appetizers we had the wings (which was the best thing we ordered), but they literally just threw them in the plate. The mussels came out as a hefty serving but a lot of them still had the beard attached and it appeared as if they were cooked in just water and garlic. The shrimp tacos were TERRIBLE. They tasted as if a child prepared them at home. I was very displeased with the tacos. Also, The French fries came out cold . The food was a straight up disappointment. The restaurant itself was old looking. The bathrooms were terrible and dirty. The tap beer wasn't working. I was really displeased. I wish I had did better research before I chose Bracco's.

This is not my first time here, and each time it has been a good view of the water. That's really the highlight of all the restaurants on the nautical mile. We ordered the lobster bisque and it was delicious. Quite pricey (as are all the choices). The Montauk Seabass, Fish of the day, although fried, was tasty. The corn on the cob was good, albeit cool to the touch. The French fries were soft. If you like that, Yay. I'm not a fan. My niece ordered the coconut shrimp appetizer. It was "ok". The shrimp tasted fresh and it wasn't over-breaded. My brother had the seared tuna. He said it was pretty tasty. The service was good and the number of patrons were few at the hour we went, a 1pm arrival. I would have given 3 stars, but the fact that they charged us a check out fee of $4.98, really took me aback and is a slap in the face for customers. They never said what it was but I will not be back. I am vehemently opposed to businesses charging the customers for the ability to eat at their restaurant. Update to someone who replied this is a cash discount program. Who walks around with hundreds of dollars to pay cash at a very expensive restaurant? We were 3 people with two low priced entrees and an appitzer. It's more like a"we charge you because we signed up for credit card processing to benefit the restaurant not the customer". That's after raising price too. Move to one star for that nonsense response.

This was the three drinks ordered.

Gotta be kidding... first and most importantly... when you ask for a double Tito's & soda both shots should be TITOS. I literally watched her grab a well bottle and a Tito's bottle and pour them both into my drink. Not once did she even glance in my direction to see if I would like another. While she was on her phone I asked for the third drink. I tipped regardless but wouldn't bring friends here when they visit.

Always a great vibe here and great seafood. On the water and good music playing. Check them out and get the fish bowl if you can hang.

Unfortunately, our food took an exceptionally long time to arrive, and my potatoes were undercooked and hard. That said, the lobster Benedict was absolutely delicious and easily the highlight of my meal. My friend ordered the steak and eggs and requested her steak medium, but it came out well done, which was disappointing. Another friend ordered the lobster mac and cheese and said it was very filling--so much so that she had leftovers to take home. The Caesar salad was good, and the fried calamari was also well prepared and not overly oily, which I appreciated. We also missed the show, which was a bit of a letdown. Despite the service delays and a few issues with the food preparation, there were enough positives that I would return and give them another try.

Our waitress made us feel completely comfortable we were laughing, having side conversations, and genuinely enjoying ourselves all night. By the end of the evening, she even said, "Goodnight, love you!" and quickly laughed saying she didn't mean to say it. That pretty much summed up the vibe of the night friendly, relaxed, and memorable. The food was excellent from start to finish. I had the Caesar salad appetizer, which was very good, and my sister had the calamari, which she said was excellent. For our entrées, we both ordered the chicken parmesan with alavaca sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. To finish the night, we shared the crème brûlée for dessert, and it was the perfect treat. The portion is definitely big enough for two people, so I wouldn't recommend ordering one per person. The location is beautiful and right by the water true to the restaurant's name. The only small thing to note is the parking. There are two parking lots, and the first one is definitely the better option. The second lot leads closer to the waterfront entrance and can feel a little tight and snug when parking. Overall, we had an amazing time and would absolutely go back. The service was great the waiters were very helpful with any questions we had and answered all questions when asked. They suggested some dishes and I asked about some I was interested in through pictures I saw on Yelp! Finally I went with the prefix menu which includes soup or salad, drink plus main dish for lunch. I went with the stuffed pork chop which has prosciutto and a side of sautéed veggies. The pork chop was super soft and succulent and the prosciutto was cooked to perfection not salty at all as well as the veggies which were well seasoned. We also ordered the filet fish of Dourada which I have never had before it was so tasty and flaky very nice fish light but filling. It was stuffed with spinach topped with delicious caramelized onions and a side of diced potatoes. The caramelized onions stole the show on this particular dish for real! Shoutout to the chef they did their thing! Last but not least I had dessert which was the highlight of the meal! Poached pear with vanilla ice cream wow simply amazing. Again first time having this type of dessert the pear was sweet but not overbearing and the raspberry sauce was not sour nor sweet but just right yummy! I give this place a 10/10. The service was on point their knowledge of their food and menu was spot on, the views were great, and the food was amazing. What more could you ask for in a dining experience? Not much if you ask me! Run don't walk to this place I highly recommend and will be back again for sure. Enjoy and tell them Elon sent you!

This visit I ordered the lump crab cakes, clam strips, fries, and a lemonade. Everything was a solid 10/10. The crab cakes were loaded with sweet lump crab meat and barely any filler. The clam strips were hot, crispy, and tasted incredibly fresh, and the fries were perfectly cooked. The staff is always quick, pleasant, and efficient, making takeout a breeze. Most importantly, the food is consistently fresh and flavorful. That's what keeps me coming back. If you're in the area or even passing through, do yourself a favor and stop at Bigelow's. Searching Yelp I found this place much closer and figured it was worth a try... upon arrival I parked with ease, was seated immediately and greeted with the disappointment of lobster rolls being a weekend specialty and decided to make lemonade with my lemons by trying a fried clam strip sandwich. I was hesitant as fried food no longer sits well with my stomach.... But if they're known for clams.. clams it is!!! First condiments were brought out... plentiful, separate and the lemon cut properly, fresh and juicy. I'm already happy because so many places are sparse on the tartar and cocktail sauce and I run out before I'm halfway through. Not here! Then the sandwich arrives and I realize I'm eating this with my fingers due to the massive amount of clams! Fried perfectly... not greasy, not heavy. TENDER!!! And delicious!!! Hands down the best clam strips I have ever had, and I instantly forgot that I wanted that lobster roll. I had coleslaw on the side which was perfect, finely shredded and chilled which is my preference. I ate the WHOLE thing.. leaving behind only a portion of bun which was butter toasted and slightly sweet.. also delicious. Highly recommend... also I was informed if I'd like the roll on the weekend I can call ahead to have the lobster fresh steamed and pulled for my roll... but at this point I was in love with the clams!
