Most recent experience involved a suspected transmission issue and turned out to be a fuel line / filter issue. Troy inspected the car and also found my rear brakes were dangerously thin. The brakes were fixed same day. Troy referred the fuel line issue to a nearby shop that handled Nissan cars. The car was repaired in less than a day and is now getting gas mileage (26 and up) that I haven't seen in 4 years. Honest, reliable and doesn't try to sell unnecessary services. They are super aggressive about parking spaces here. Well one guy in particular, pulled back grey pony tail, clean shaved, weathered face that looks like a serious smoker. I parked in their suite spot G, that guy pulls up in his lifted red beat up truck yelling at me to move. He didn't ask- he demanded I move. Her started to get verbally aggressive and all puffy like he was going to do something. Stupid. He even got people from another suite to come out and get on me about moving. I kept telling him I was here for Bracey's which is suite G. He was so ridiculous he didn't even listen until I asked him if he worked for Braceys- to which he said yes! I told him I'M HERE FOR BRACEYS!! He backed down, threw a tantrum and went to get his boss. Thankfully he brought his boss out because his boss was pretty cool. I'm not one for unprofessionalism, if I wasn't picking up a friend I definitely would NEVER come to a shop that treats customers like that. He didn't even ask if I was here for service. I gave 3 stars because it's not the business owners fault his guy went psycho. His boss was very apologetic about the incident and understandable; people take up their spots. They have 5 stars for service so let's hope the mechanics for the job my buddy is paying them for are stellar. Next time crazy dude, have a simple respect and manners for your client base. read more

This is the best service I have ever had from any mechanic. He was able to give me an estimate immediately, as well as a great price on the work I had done! He also told me my car was going to be ready at a specific time, and it actually was! That has literally never happened to me before! Another thing that was really great about Troy is that he was able to explain what needed to be fixed in terms I could understand. I know basically nothing about cars, and have probably been taken advantage of in the past for my lack of understanding. This shop was recommended both by family members and my supervisor at work. They have been going to Bracey's for as long as they can recall. We brought in our vehicle for work in May: we needed motor mounts installed. They not only did a fantastic job, they also had to put in some extra effort due to the style of mounts we wanted installed, and they did not take that as opportunity to up-charge for the work. We just dropped the car off again for more work. I look forward to leaving another five star review when we get it back. The only regrettable experience we've had here was asking an ex-associate to pick us up once; apparently not everyone understands that if you see a crowded parking lot, and you're not there to have any work done, you should maybe be thoughtful and park on the street. Had we known how embarrassingly petulant and belligerent she could be, we would have thrown her junk on the porch two months earlier. read more

I just found out that a botched repair at the hands of Bracey's auto years ago handicapped my vehicle for 10,000 miles. I brought my car in with a noise and vibration in the front end more than 5years ago. A front wheel bearing was replaced but the problem persisted. The other wheel bearing was replaced, still the vibration and noise continued. With that and an oil leak that Bracey's attempted to repair but couldn't, I stopped going there, after decades of taking cars there. So I limped along, using the car for taking dogs to the park and little else. Recently, the vibration got much, much worse. I replaced the CV axle shafts and the problem continued. Finally I took the car to a nearby auto repair garage and a wheel bearing was replaced, fixing the problem. I spent over a $1000 trying to fix this thing. What did Bracey's do or not do 5 Years ago? Did he not change the bearing but charged me anyway. Did they change the same bearing twice, thinking that they were doing the other side? It is too late now to recoup my losses from Bracey's screwup. This review is my only recourse. read more
