Tim did an amazing job installing our new Liftmaster Belt Drive garage opener. We appreciated how he took the time to inspect all the parts of the garage door from the hinges to the torsion spring. He explained each part of the opener which helped us understand the necessity to get our torsion spring replaced. He performed the replacement and installation efficiently and cleanly. The only issue we had was with the Homelink programming which Tim tried to troubleshoot. Unfortunately, we believe it's just an issue with the newer Liftmaster units. I'm a proponent of, If it ain't broke, don't fix it. So when Dallas noted in 2021 and again a few months ago that my garage door only had one spring and should have two--because I wasn't experiencing any problems with the door--I chose to leave well enough alone. The one spring was at least 11 years old. It broke recently, on a Saturday at the end of the day. I called Bradbury, left a voice message, and Sherry returned my call within a minute or two--wowing me with her responsiveness. She scheduled the service for my garage door for the first appointment of the day on Monday, which I really appreciated. Monday came, I received a text with a map letting me know Daniel was en route and where he was. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem -- like Dallas had said, the door is too heavy for just one spring to do all the work and needed two -- and clearly explained my options. I went with two torsion springs and a set of new nylon rollers. Daniel completed the work in about an hour or less. I very much appreciated his professionalism, efficiency and clear communication throughout the service call--which is what I've come to expect from Bradbury based on my previous two experiences with them. Today at 11 AM, one of my garage door openers wouldn't work. I tried the trouble-shooting detailed in the owner's manual, but nothing worked (19 years old.) My garage door was sounding a little rough whenever we opened and closed it and we realized we haven't had it serviced in a few years. I decided it needed preventative maintenance and Bradbury offered a "tune-up" as one of their many services. I used Bradbury Garage Doors years ago when my garage door opener decided it was done and needed to be replaced. It appears I forgot to do a review after that visit....I'm a slacker. Like the first time it was very easy to make an appointment. I actually made it online this time and it was very easy to do. I received a prompt email from them confirming my appointment and who the technician would be. There ended up being a change in the tech but I received an update with the new information prior to their visit so I knew who was coming. Mathew arrived on time, listened to my concerns about the door and got to work. He was very through and completed the job in a reasonable amount of time. It sounds like a completely different door, it's actually pretty quite now. While he was here I asked if I could have the rubber at the bottom of the door replaced as well because it was looking pretty tore up. He was able to do that at an extra cost. I love love love this company! I had the pleasure of meeting Daniel a couple of weeks ago who came out because our big giant 10 foot tall double garage door would not operate. He was able to fix it no problem. He also noticed that one of the automatic locking mechanisms wasn't engaging and thought we'd have to replace it. But then he discovered that whenever they were first installed, the installation crew never bothered to drill a hole through the rail for the lock to engage in. Lol and then Daniel finish up with a tuneup for both our big and little garage door. Anyway-Daniel was awesome. Use Bradbury Garage Doors every chance you get. I'm confused. Just had a tune up and tech Dylan warned I'd better find my emergency release lock keys to open my door if needed. I thought my 2020 installation included the new California State requirement for a battery back up motor that will lift and close my door about 10 times on a charge in such an emergency or at least it's what I paid for. Phil; Not sure how I managed it, but after searching for a good garage door service company here in the Chula Vista area, I settled on yours primarily due to the reviews here and other places--I'm also of the opinion that putting one's own name on the masthead is a positive sign. To keep it short and readable, no notes! Service, communication etc., was stellar. Prices were (based on my research) entirely fair and reasonable--pretty much exactly as expected even after electing to upgrade to dual-spring setup based on Wes' advice (I'm a big believer in over-engineering--it wasn't a hard sell :-) ). Speaking of Wes... Outstanding representative. Explanations were clear, logical and free from pressure. I'm in a business where I frequently have to fix and diagnose gear. There's nothing like watching competence in action--it's a joy to behold. Genuinely enjoyed his visit and watching him put his skill to work.
