While shopping at Aldi, I was ready to check out when I spotted a Mama Cozzi's pizza in the freezer…read moresection. Why not I thought It's been a while since I had a pizza And it's lunch time so it was added to my cart. When I got home, my first surprise was the sodium content. That pizza would supply half of the daily recommended adult intake of 2,300 milligrams (mg) per day. Since I watch my daily intake of sodium l decided to make the exception. Then i noticed that the pizza also contained bioengineered ingredients. As I read the lengthy list of over 30 ingredients my appetite won over common sense as I slipped the pizza into the pre heated oven when I got home. After eating the first slice I realized I should have used common sense over appetite. With all due respect to Mama Cozzi's she needs to find a new line of work. What came out of the oven could not in any country be called pizza. The sausage on top of what came out of the oven made with pork and chicken had no semblance to meat. To add insult to injury it indicated on the wrapper that the item had been inspected and passed by the department of agriculture. It did not say that the pizza was eaten by them, just inspected. Finally in retrospect I must admit that having served on a tour of duty for 4 years at NATO Headquarters in Naples, Italy, birthplace of real Italian pizza, I think I have a good idea what a pizza should taste like. Had I not cut one slice of that so called pizza, I would have been able to use it as frisbee. I will now close my case with some sage advice. "Buyer Beware". Just because it looks like a pizza and has been inspected and passed as a pizza doesn't make it a pizza.

On my first visit with Dr. Zabiegalski for a tooth extraction I initially spoke with his assistant,…read moretelling her that I wanted a local anesthetic for the procedure, stating that I had no one to drive me home if he put me out. She had offered me a choice between a local and a general. I next met with the doctor, and he did not ask me anything about it. When I came in for the procedure, we briefly discussed this and he gave me an injection and said it would take 4 minutes to take effect. After that, he began pulling my molar, rocking it back and forth. It came out during the procedure, which I screamed through the entire time (I was heard in the waiting area), that an abscess can severely limit the effectiveness of a local. Three times I begged him to stop, and he did not until I grabbed his arm and made him. At one point he asked me "why stop now, we're almost done?" and he kept going. It was savage, and my new oral surgeon told me that this may constitute assault. I am 65 years old and tough but never have I gone through anything like this. I likened it to the way the former Soviet Union extracted information from enemy spies. Yesterday I had a crown removed from a molar right next to the extracted tooth and the dentist took about an hour and 3 injections to get the area numb, though much of the delay was due to her being with other patients. She told me the first injection was basically to prepare for further ones, but she ensured the area was numb. Dr. Z gave me but one and waited just four minutes before an extraction and didn't check for numbness. It was one of the most painful things that I have ever experienced. He could have insisted before we started that I find a driver, but did not.

I went here almost two years ago because I didn't have dental insurance and they sent me a coupon…read morein the mail for a full cleaning and exam at a price I could actually afford. Now I'm giving them 2 stars because the staff and environment was welcoming and my teeth definitely felt clean afterwards... however... I was quoted with $2,340.00 worth of work that needed to be done on my teeth for tooo decay and cavities they graciously provided me with photos for me to keep showing this. I had to do the work in two sittings and when I asked about a payment plan they said it had to be paid at once. No way could I afford this. So I took my treatment plan and my photos and left without making an appointment. Feeling discouraged as could be--given that it had only been a year since my last dental appt before I lost insurance. Flash forward to now. I finally have dental insurance again. I got an appt at the dental office I used to go to back in the early 2000s (before my college dentist) and i brought my treatment plan and horrifying photos Dr. Elfervig provided me with. Guess what? I was told my teeth are completely healthy. Not a cavity in sight. Not even a pre-cavity. My gums could use some better care but not even bad enough to be considered infected, just irritated. They said the grey decay in the photos was actually tarter build up that changed colors and they were able to scrape it all away with a little elbow grease. Like I said, the office environment and staff were beyond welcoming. But I can't say I'm not glad I didn't go back to them and decided to get a second opinion from a different dentist. I was sure I'd have to have some fillings done after my visit today... but unless my teeth magically healed themselves in 1.5 years, I'm calling shenanigans on what I was told was wrong with my teeth.
