The team here are professional and knowledgeable. The Hygienists here are gentle and thorough. Dr Doan has great relationships with other dental professionals in the area which allows him to offer the best possible solution for your needs in conjunction with his practice. There is a sense of family when you enter this office and his wife Linda Doan and other staff members always greet you with a warm and welcoming smile. THANK YOU DR. DOAN - My situation was not good. Once you meet this amazing miracle worker you will understand my review. This review starts with another Cosmetic Dentist ending with Dr. Doan. Thank God for this dentist and that we are lucky enough to have him here in Sarasota. First was the offal experience I had before I discovered Dr. Doan. My gums were receding due to forceful brushing, smoking and going to a lazy dentist. My teeth had become very soft and brittle. I made an appt. with "Two World-Renowned Dentists" They guided me to a L.A. en-Vogue style consultation room made of glass. Then took me to another room where a woman did a 20 minute oral examination and x-rays. Never once did the renowned dentist look inside my mouth. I thought was odd. The time spent at their office was a little more than one hour 1/2 hrs. at best. Paid my $200 consolation fee and left. I went back one week latter for the summation to the same office where she and her partner / husband proceeded to tell me they would like to withdraw most of my upper teeth and attach implants with screws. Cost- $40,K Yes $40,000.00. That's pretty much how she summed it up. I knew my situation wasn't good but I wasn't comfortable with their modus operandi. I was determined to get a second opinion. "Never Pull Your Teeth" unless absolutely necessary. I knew there were dentist that refuse to pull one's teeth if they had a hope of being saved. My neighbor went through dental restoration due to trauma from chemotherapy. I immediately called him and ask him the name of his dentist and if he was pleased. He gave me Dr. Doan's name. He said - I will never go to another dentist. I made the appointment. Dr. Doan and his assistant Rachel did a thorough oral examination including x-rays. He identified issues with my gums, teeth and roots of my teeth and stated my roots were very strong and in-tact. I was so relieved that my dental issues the "World Renowned Dentist's" suggested were quite different than Dr. Doans diagnosis, as was the experience. Dr. Doan explained my issues in detail down to each tooth at question. He said he could save my teeth but I would have to have some implants and some -not all- of them would need to be done with cadaver bone. He also told me I would need to have periodontal surgery which I already knew. It took 8 months from one surgery and implants to the next for healing, but well worth every second. I can not emphasize how patient, honest, and great Dr. Doan and his team were in dealing with my dental issues. This dentist has a true compassion for his trade at the client's best interest. Dr. Doan put me in the hand's of Dr. Gonzalez for my Periodontal surgery whom I was extremely pleased with and did not need any pain meds after the surgery. Just Tylenol. I now go every 3 months for a cleaning and a check up. My friend was correct! I will never go to another dentist. EVER Thank You Dr. Doan, Rachel and the rest of the team. read more

From the moment you enter their beautiful welcoming office, to their friendly efficient front desk, you know you are in good hands. Dr. Doan is not only extremely knowledgeable and professional, he is also friendly, caring and very compassionate. Having grown up being a little fearful of the dentist, Dr. Doan's patience and understanding calmed my nerves and I am happy to say I don't freak out anymore with visits to the dentist! He is truly exceptional! His hygienist, Knute, who I have seen for many years is also exceptional at his job. His assistants Rachael and Barb are top notch as well.
