I was able to order checks from another company for 1/4 of the price, so ignored the email because I thought the transaction was cancelled if I did not respond. Imagine my surprise when my account continued to be charged with $16.95 each month until I kept calling to get "My Account" cancelled in March. It took three months to get them to stop. I ordered from their website on a special deal they have been advertising. I contacted my bank and received a print out of the information required on the bank. Name, mailing address, physical address and contract telephone numbers. The bank printed out the information as a sample for accuracy. So I made the order. I paid, and waited about 2.5 weeks for the checks, and Bradford Exchange Checks have a statement when received to make sure the information is accurate. Well, I called them and told them the information was not accurate and was not put in exactly as I inputted the information and I checked three (3) times for accuracy. What I got was did you check with the bank? A: Yes, I did and I have the sample of the check information. Do you want a picture of it? Their answer is no. The customer service is off shore, is not good and they have terrible communication skills. I do not recommend this company. One star is the Eek! i ordered 4 packs of checks on July 14, 2025. I received an email on July 17 saying my checks were shipped, and that standard shipping for my checks would be 5-10 days. i waited 10 BUSINESS days and still have not received my checks. I called the 1-800-323 8104 number at 3:30 pm MT, that number is supposed to be in service from 7-10 CT; and I got a recording that that call center was closed. I tried another number; 1-800-866-2334 which is supposed to be in service from 8-8CT, and I received the same message. I finally got ahold of a representative from the check order number, and spoke to a man that I do not want to name publicly (I did tell his name to a supervisor) and when I explained my problem, he accused me of lying about my email info, saying it couldn't be 5-10 days, he kept talking over me and said it would be 5-15 days. I requested a manager and he kept saying "what is a manager going to do for you?" I persisted and he finally got me to a supervisor. I was told by the manager that standard shipping could take at least 3 weeks and that I probably wouldn't get all my check boxes at once. I told her about the customer service numbers access times being wrong, and the email date to receive my checks was wrong. Of course there was nothing she could do about either problem and I will just have to wait another week for my checks. Probably the worst product quality I've ever seen. Checks look like they were manufactured in a third world country during a power failure. Every fourth check is missing the date section and the dollar amount section. Just blank. Nothing there. The particular checks I ordered also have colored strips on each side which are misaligned so one side is half the size of the other and you can see the background through the other side. As soon as I began to use them, the backing came apart from the booklet so they wont even stay in the cover. Didn't have a billing issue as most others have and they promptly refunded my money but the checks are embarrassing and unusable. Don't even consider this company for your checks. read more

I was like many who have left a review here. I was online searching for a way to find some inexpensive checks but of a design I liked. I compared companies & finally chose Bradford. What I didn't know is that in very small wording (on a form that came in the mail with another company's billing). I checked "free shipping" but the words underneath indicating the monthly membership for $14.95 was in such tiny lettering that to actually read it would require a magnifying glass! I contacted my credit card & disputed the 4 monthly charges and they will be giving me credit on my account, thank goodness! I will never use them again of course & plan on making sure that anyone I pay with one of these checks, that I tell them of the "sneaky" methods. Do not order from them. I was quoted a price over the phone, so I ordered. Then, after hanging up the phone, I received the email order confirmation which showed $25.00 more than I agreed to. I called customer service and, after waiting a half hour, I was told there wasn't anything they could do for me because the order was too new and I would have to call back. I had to go to work, so I sent an email to their "contact me" email address, and didn't hear back from them until after I received the checks. So secure ship is a total joke and you don't have to sign for them and if they are misdelivered and wind up in the wrong hands, it could cause an absolute nightmare for you. Fortunately, I had photographic evidence from the UPS driver that he delivered them to my neighbors house and so I was able to retrieve my package from them. They had already brought my package into their house, and had it for two days before I realize that the shipment was missing ! I will never order check from them again best to get them from the bank. Stay away from this company! There is so much wrong with them. I ordered checks from them originally back ion 12/16/2021. The telephone salesperson I dealt with got noticeably more snotty as I refused all her attempts to upsell me with needless add-on's like "tracked delivery", "fraud protection" and so forth. I finally got the order completed with her and was happy to get off that call! About 3 weeks later, I received a snail mail note stating that my order had an invalid routing number and couldn't be completed. An envelope was enclosed for me to mail back a deposit slip from my old batch of checks so they could get the correct routing number. I did so. Another couple of weeks go by and I have yet to receive my check order, so I called the company. Oh hold a bit and finally get connected. Then am told I have to talk to the "Verification dept.". The person I speak to [eventually] gets me transfered where the person I speak with tells me that my order is still on hold! I asked what happened to the USPS mail with the deposit slip I had returned a couple of weeks back and was told that their mail processing was "months behind"! Oh joy. The woman took the corrected routing number and said the order would be processed immediately. Come 1/28/22, I finally received the check order. However, upon examination there were a number of errors including printing my address incorrectly and starting the checks at the wrong number. I immediately call the company and they tell me they will reprint the order and re-mail it to me. I am instructed to shed the existing checks myself (a 20 minute job of ripping the checks out of the package and putting them through my shredder, which is only designed to handle up to 6 sheets at once). I ask them to please expedite the order given that these problems with the order were not my fault. By 2/9/22, 10 days later, I had yet to receive the replacement check order. I call the company again and inquire where is my order? I am told that the checks were mailed out 1/31 but it could take 10-15 days to arrive, I say that sounds like a boilerplate reply because the original order took only 5 days to [finally] arrive once they got the correct info! The person tells me I need to talk to the "verification dept" yet again. However, when I am transferred to them, I get a "dept closed" message even though it is supposed to be open at the time I called. I am suspicious that I am getting the run around. The next day, I try to call the verification dept again. This time there is unending music hold and no one answers (two calls, 15 minutes and 25 minutes). This is the end of the line for me with this company. I call the main company number back (hoping the company has not gone out of business) and demand that they cancel the order and refund my money or I will file a credit card dispute. They do so and instruct me to dispose of the checks when they arrive. I suspect they are lying about issuing the refund and plan on filing that dispute but a couple of days later, I happily see the refund appear on my Quicken download. Now, it is the end-of-day 2/18 as I write this and the checks they claim they mailed on 1/31 have still not arrived! I'm happy I got the refund and placed an order with another company. What a mess! They got the routing number wrong. They printed the address section wrong. And they got the starting check number wrong. That's three errors on one order. Plus we have the problem of the missing replacement order which has either been lost or was never actually placed. Save yourself hours of potential grief. Stay far away from this company! read more

Big surprise, Bradford Exchange didn't bother to respond and I was credited in full. TL,DR: Bradford Exchange WILL enroll you into their membership. When I got to the checkout it said "congratulations, you qualify for this promotion", making me know for sure that I had not used them before and indeed qualified for the deal for new customers. My check order came to $28. Imagine my surprise when I was charged $66. I contacted them and was told I was not a new customer and did not qualify for the deal. There was no way to know that beforehand, nor was there any way to see how much it would cost without the new customer promotion. There was no contact from them to let me know the price would more than double, they just charged me $66. I told them to just cancel and give my money back but I was told it was too late to cancel.
