Highly recommend Bradford Towing and Auto Repair! My car broke down in the middle of rush hour traffic and they showed up quickly and got me out of there. The convenience of also being able to get it diagnosed and repaired right there was awesome. They were knowledgeable, honest and offered a great price and they got it done the same day. If I could rate 0 stars i would. Appointment at 8 told me was going to take a hour so I waited and they hate that you wait cause then you'll see what they do with the labor you pay for. They didnt take my car in til 830 1 hour goes by now they say its going to be 2 hours 2 hours go by still not done. Then they say Its the wrong part and they cant finish today cause they close early so they just assumed I can leave my car there til sometime next week for them to finish. I told her I cant I have to go to work. I need my car put back together so I could leave. I literally had to argue with her because she wouldn't give me my car back then had the nerve to say I still had to pay almost 200$ til I said I'll call my attorney funny thing how I got my car back faster. Do you know what they doing while you're paying for labor? First they had to go get breakfast eat then the one working on my car thought I left and came out and sat at the desk holding the dog he sees me he leaves with the dog. He's walking around with him he looks under my hood while holding the dog I've never see so many incompetent people in my life . Been there twice they always had a attitude Prices you charge should be friendlier. The guys here look like they just stumbled out of the bar and as for her I could go on and on. The shop did $2,000 worth of work on my vehicle when my check engine light came on. When I went to pick it up the check engine light was still on and the receptionist told me she "forgot" to mention my transmission was going. Also charged me for an alignment and when I called to tell them I could feel they did not she responded the machine wasnt there. Still charged for the service though. read more

These guys are the worst. First off beware they are NOT AAA approved. I got in a car accident and the police used this company to force tow my car at 5pm. Right after the accident I drove to their shop "which is a run down building with a dirt backlot" to pick up my car. When I got there the gate was locked, lights were out, and doors were closed. I called the number on the card the rude tow driver gave me and there was no answer. I called again no answer. So I decided to come in the next day to retrieve my belongings. I arrived the next day at 4pm. 23 hours later. I was ready to pay my tow when I realized they charged me TWO days storage. (Pretty sure 23 hours is one day). I told the owner, Scott, and nicely asked if he could remove one day since it was literally impossible for me to get my car the previous day as the business was closed. His response? "Did you call?" Yes... "No one answered?" No... "Oh you should've left a messege we would've called you back and let you in". Ok.... And he refused to remove the extra day storage. Whatever. SO my car was totaled I paid In full and told him I was calling AAA to come grab the car and tow it to my house. He said "they better get here before 5 or we lock the gate" so I said "ok just in case could you tow my car into the lot so if he gets here after five I still have access to my car" his response??? "Sure but it will cost you another tow" he was going to charge me a full tow fee to move my car 15 FEET from his gated lot to his parking lot. Absolutely rediculous. I told him to keep the junk car. I wasn't going to chance AAA being there later than 5 and I didn't feel like dealing with the absolutely un empathetic, sleazy, disgusting business man that is Scott the owner of Bradford towing. All he cares about is money, not the customer at all. read more

Great shop! I just moved back into the area and my car broke down, I let it sit for nearly a month because I was afraid of the cost of repair and towing. Finally saved enough to get it fixed and couldn't believe what he charged me for the tow and repair! Replaced 2 bad timing belts on my Subaru and towed me for 350. I love the guys at meineke in plaistow but ill be going from now on. Fast and efficient. read more

I called and spoke to Steve when the engine light came on for the first time in my Jeep. I was extremely nervous and worried about what could possibly be wrong with it and what the cost would be. Steve immediately put my fears at ease. Melyssa was amazing to work with as well. They both truly care about their customers. The work I needed to have done was completed within the time frame they gave me and the price was more than reasonable. I also completely disagree with Jason's review. There is not a better, faster, more honest mechanic on the planet than Steve at Bradford Towing. Here is one of many examples from over the years that he's been working on my family's cars: my car wouldn't start one day so we replaced the starter motor at home with a new one purchased from a local auto parts store. The car still wouldn't start, so we gave up and brought it to Steve. Steve figured out that the store had sold us a bad starter motor. Since it was a local auto parts store, he brought it back to the store himself, exchanged it, put the new one in my car and only charged me for an hour of labor. I had the car back the same day. There are very few service providers of any type - never mind auto mechanics - who I trust as much as Steve. read more

I have gone to Bradford Towing as long as I have been able to drive (16 years now). After reading the Review that "Jason S." left, I felt compelled to write my own review. The current owner STEVE not Scott, is one of the nicest men you will ever meet. I am a 32 year old girl, who, even at 16 was never ripped off by ridiculous prices at Bradford towing. They always let me know if something is wrong with my vehicle, and let me know if something will soon be wrong, always giving me an alternative option. They never make you feel like you have to get anything fixed, unless of course you are in danger driving away without fixing the issue. Every time I bring my car for an oil change, I don't have get nervous that I will have a list of a million things that I need to fix. I know, and trust that will not take advantage of me, and feel they never ever have. They are truly the most honest and fairly priced mechanic shop I have ever been to. As for Jason's review.... the police used them to tow their car, and they do close at 5, so why would you ever expect they be there to accommodate you. You are not a customer, and of course if the car is there another day you will be charged. What world do you live in?? The rude tow driver sounds like he was dealing with a pretty rude vehicle owner.... you should have made arrangements to be there during their hours. The world does not revolve around you! I feel as though "Jason's" review had nothing to do with their quality of work, fair prices, or honestly and loyalty to their customers.
