Now, this would have been fine if I was notified ahead of time over the phone that there was this long of a wait, but that was not the case. On top of that, they are extremely nit-picky when it comes to inspection stickers. For example, I have clear lenses for my blinkers & they give off a tan look. I was advised that the front blinker lights need to be amber & not tan. I guess my blinker lights weren't the correct hue for their liking. I mean from my perspective, if the blinkers work, great. Why are you requesting to replace something that isn't broken. Also, there were two bay's & the other bay was being occupied by an employee's vehicle, WHAT? Additionally, for this location if someone isn't going to pass their inspection for whatever the reason maybe, provide the customer an estimate for what it would cost to fix/replace said items to allow for a passed inspection. Therefore, by doing that the customer can consider this estimate of what needs to be done if it is within reason & applicable to the inspection, & consider opting into getting it done while they are still there. Rather than sending the customer off & say, get it fixed at wherever you get work done on your vehicle. Not good business practices at all. But again, this would stress upon "within reason", considering the fact that I was told that my brake fluid was low & there was a leak that needed to be located, which wouldn't allow for me to pass inspection. Interestingly enough I went to a different shop the next day to get an oil change & brought up the brake fluid comment from the day prior for the inspection attempt. I was told "that isn't even a part of an inspection". Now, I do appreciate the fact that they noticed that but if its not a part of the inspection it would be wise to just mention it to the customer to refill it, rather than say you won't pass inspection. Customer beware, this shop will bring things up to you that you never went there for. Which is probably related to trying to get you to have more work done here. Not necessary if someone is going there for something simple. What is the most interesting part of all this, would be the fact that I went to another shop to get an inspection & passed.

There was a small error made during my service and when the team realized it they immediately took ownership of the issue and made corrections. They communicated honestly, explained what was happening and gave me great confidence throughout the process. I worked with Tom, Jonathan and Chris during my 2 visits and all three could not do enough to service the car and keep me informed - Great Service! I also met the manager Nate who very calmly used the issue as a teachable moment and brought his entire crew over to show them what had happened and how to correct it - great leadership! The manager lied to my face. Third time they rotated them. They offer a shuttle service and I work a few miles away on the same street. I booked the shuttle and my early AM appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Brought my car there and the shuttle van wasn't there. No big deal I was there 15+ minutes early. After about a 1/2 hour the van still wasn't there. my appointment was 1/2 hour into the appointment and they still hadn't started the car. Normally I would leave it for the day. After nearly an hour (the car should have been done at this point!) I asked for the keys and left. After the manager lying about rotating the tires (twice) this was the last straw. I haven't been back since.

My longtime mechanic had retired, and I wasn't sure where to go next until I discovered D&G Auto Repair on Yelp! In August 2025, I brought my car in for brake service (pads and rotors replacement). From the very beginning, I felt I was in good hands. Paulo, the manager, responded to my Yelp inquiry almost immediately. He was professional, kind, and attentive. He listened carefully to my concerns and explained everything in a clear, respectful way, something I truly appreciate. I felt a strong sense of trust that he genuinely cared about my car and my safety. When I arrived at the shop, Paulo was just as professional and kind in person. He made me feel confident in my choice to use to D&G Auto Repair. After I left my car, he followed up via text with an estimated bill before starting any work, which gave me peace of mind and control over the process. The shop itself is small but clearly run by expert technicians, and the waiting room is clean and comfortable, a nice bonus! I returned yesterday with a question about a noise I'd heard. Tony, one of the technicians, came out and personally walked around my car with me. He pointed out how clean it looked and even asked about repairs I had done elsewhere. He gave me a mini lesson on body repair which was surprisingly enlightening. He then gave me directions to the nearest Auto Parts store and Car Wash. That kind of extra care is rare and so appreciated.
