We decided to check out the Fleetwood Mac tribute band concert on the riverfront. Every Saturday night in the summer here's a concert at Ross's Landing as part of the Riverfront Nights concert series. Although it took a little while to find parking and all parking in downtown Chattanooga costs a bit these days, we enjoyed the night. The lights on the boats on the water and the stage created a magical inviting ambiance. The music sounded great while we sat perched above the river. The crowd was festive. On a hot summer night, music remains a part of this river town experience.

It had been pouring rain and let up to a drizzle for long enough to explore! John went off to read historical markers, while Robert and I walked closer towards the bridge. There are deep steps leading down from the roadside towards the waterfront that I imagine could act as an amphitheater. The park runs all the way toward the Southern Belle Riverboat and the Duck Boat tours. Or the opposite direction towards the art museum and sculpture garden. Even on a dreary, rainy day~ this park is beautiful.

It's well maintained, clean and beautiful! I love the two different areas for big dogs and little dogs. There is lots of room to run around, sticks to catch, and water for dogs to drink. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful. Lovely hills and a view of the "people" park. It's scenic and serene (if the dogs aren't barking). So far my dog and I love this park the best!

First off, owners with small dogs just bring their little dogs into the big dog area even tho there is a designated little dog area. This is annoying because the little dogs often really irritate the big dogs, and when the big dogs put them in their place the little dog owners get mad. Secondly, you have the occasional owner who just doesn't watch their dog which can be annoying especially when their dog is a problem and they just don't care. 3 out of 5 days this park is super amazing, therefore it gets 3 stars.

Facilities are well maintained and easily accessible with any car. Some of the best attractions: Paddlefish, full-size school bus, sharks (not actual sharks...), nesting bluegill, and all sorts of interesting stuff. Cost is slightly higher than most other quarries in the area, but you get what you pay for. Expect to pay 25-35 per person based on amount of tanks needed. 10/10 would recommend.

If you need a tank refill, he comes down every so often to gather them and brings them back to you. He is making improvements as he can so I expect this place will get a lot better over the years. There aren't showers or a bathroom but he does have very clean port-a-potty for use. I noticed most of the people come out with cooler and grill to make it a full day trip. Just a good bunch of people hanging out, having fun and diving. Don't forget to see the paddlefish while there!

Saturday deciding best way get mind off race day with the support crew. Do escape room! I never…read moredone escape room in life. So not sure if best way to chill or relax mind from every race day worry. Half the crew done one and say lot of fun so why not. I admit really not much of teammate helping out. They offer two different playing moods. Since race weekend plus Sarah like news do competitive mood. The harder of two mood options. So we only started with one clue. I never realize amount of stress these things can be. More so when squeezing time till last second. The fact doing it as team just the five of us makes it lot of fun. We got down last lock but ran out of time. I can remember the name of the room. We had two options to choose from. I remember correctly the one pick harder of the two. I based on 10point scale. The room we did was 8. It cool they have chalkboard out front fastest times of the day or might go by all time. It tricky spot find but worth it. It on second floor, not much signs, and if anything look for flight stairs take up to the entrance. The employees are awesome. No doubt five stars. She was hilarious welcome us, going over the rules, way injected humor in conversation, and positive vibes. If looking for group activity visiting Chattanooga. Time to Escape. Winnah!!!

Kevin (the owner) is personable, customer-service oriented and highly experienced in not only recreational diving, but public safety diving. This is one of the best, if not THE best, dive centers in the Chattanooga area.

What a peaceful place to take in nature. Overall, this state park was really quiet (not a lot of…read morepeople here) and had a large parking lot. The park itself is a bit smaller if you are looking to do a lot of exploring Beautiful views of the water! There are areas around with a pier for fishing and where you can walk around the water. The park did have restrooms as well that were clean. Beautiful spot for some fishing, a picnic, boating, and a walk along the water.

Since Steve is no longer the owner I cannot recommend anyone service their gear at this Dive Shop…read more I overlooked one mishap a year before with this shop but this recent incident is unacceptable! I had my regulator serviced before my trip to the Seychelles, when they ( Choo Choo Dive Center) called telling me it was ready to be picked up, I asked what all did they do and was told replaced O rings and checked everything out. I replied great I will come and pick it up. I trusted them at their word and paid my bill. Being this is my life support having faith in who service's your equipment is a big deal. On my first dive I noticed one gage needed to be tightened and was leaking air if turned too much to the right on so of course I was cautious throughout that dive and showed my guide while under water so we could address leak back on land. The second dive is when everything went south. I dumped my air to descend and since I was a bit over weighted ( purposely due to a new 3 mm wetsuit ) I added a bit of air to level off and quickly noticed I had to dump air again and again I then felt my inflator vibrating and had to dump air constantly throughout the dive. I had the guide feel the hose to show what I was dealing with as watching my air I knew this was going to end my dive sooner than expected. When I got too low on air I called the dive. This was annoying especially on Nitrox as we had planned for much more bottom time. On the boat ride back we made certain to dump all the air out of the BC and left the tank on just to see how bad the leak was, by the time we were almost back to land the BC was about to burst. I then turned off the tank and was so embarrassed especially when I told everyone on the boat I had just taken my gear in for service before this trip. Anyway thank goodness for a well trained and equipped shop run by Blue Safari !!!!on Alphonse island. When we got back and rinsed everything I came back after lunch so we could examine my equipment. As we started looking at my regulator we immediately saw it was NEVER!!! Serviced!!!! In was so obvious by scraping my fingernail I could see a bit of goop on my nail and this was every connection. This is absolutely unacceptable!!! It it weren't for an absolute first rate dive shop and staff a trip that I had planned for for over a year could have gone much differently. I am posting this honest and severe review in hopes that Choo Choo dive center will never let this happen to anyone again. There's nothing more that I want to do than support my local dive shop sadly until they do better I will definitely be either going direct through the manufacturer or using Alpha Divers in Knoxville as they bent over backwards getting my children certified and are getting much better reviews. Grateful that my dive was saved and hope this posts saves someone else's dream vacation from ruin.
