It progressively got worse, and I found myself relying on Botox and under eye filler just to manage it. At a certain point, I knew I didn't want temporary fixes anymore. I wanted to address the root of it. During that time, I asked everyone I knew in the Bay Area for recommendations, and I kept hearing the same name... Dr. Lieberman. After looking into his background, it made complete sense. Stanford, Cornell, advanced facial plastic surgery training, double board certified, and fully specialized in the face. I chose to move forward with Dr. Lieberman at L&P Aesthetics, and the experience felt incredibly personalized. I had direct access to him throughout the process, and he personally checked on me during recovery, which meant a lot. He actually called me himself multiple times to talk through the ptosis repair because I wasn't sure if I wanted to include it. He was very honest that I likely wouldn't be happy with my results doing just an upper bleph alone, and took the time to walk me through it until I felt completely confident in my decision. That level of care, especially from someone with such a busy practice, really stood out to me. I ended up having: * Upper blepharoplasty (upper bleph) * Lower blepharoplasty (lower bleph) * Ptosis eyelid repair * Fat grafting under eyes, temples, and smile lines * Perfractional laser resurfacing From a results standpoint, this wasn't just cosmetic for me. My vision is clearer, everything feels brighter and more open, and that constant heaviness in my forehead and eyelids is gone. I also had one eyebrow that sat noticeably lower than the other my entire life, something I never loved but never planned to fix, and now they're finally even, which has made such a difference. As I had been aging I had lost SO much volume in my face and the fat grafting really helped a tremendous amount to bring softness back into my face. But what really stood out to me was how thorough Dr. Lieberman and his team were throughout the entire process. They didn't just focus on the outcome, they walked me through the full healing journey in detail, set realistic expectations, and made sure I understood every possible scenario. I never felt surprised by anything during recovery. I will say, healing does require patience. Especially with ptosis repair, where your eyelid muscles are relearning how to function. There were moments of dryness, swelling, and days where I just didn't feel 100%, more tedious than anything. But I do believe Dr. Lieberman's technique is incredibly advanced, and that played a big role in how manageable the recovery felt overall. I'm 1 month post op and I can't say enough of how life changing meeting Dr. Most was for me. I had…read morelived with complicated case of a fractured nose requiring a septoplasty and turbinate reduction-- I couldn't breathe through it for the majority of my life. I was nervous as I had never gone under for a major surgery like this, but Dr. Most and his staff were very personable and made me comfortable the entire time. In terms of results, I couldn't have asked for anything better. My nose looks even better than it did pre-op, it's actually symmetrical! Not only that, the quality of my sleep improved from 70% to 93% according to my sleep tracker. I can breathe so easy now. I had ended up getting a rib graft; pre-op Dr. Most had informed me before as a precaution and reassured me it was the best course of action. I had experienced no bruising on my face and swelling was noticeable but not egregious. The rib recovery wasn't as bad as I thought, very tender and minimal range in the early days but I was able to stop using the pain medication fairly quickly. It can take awhile from pre-op visits to the actual surgery date considering how in demand he is. Once you've established yourself as his patient, definitely use the myHealth app as suggested by his staff. It is much easier to communicate that way instead of phone. All in all, I would highly recommend Dr. Most to everyone. A huge thank you to him and his staff.

We were referred to Dr. Most for a complicated functional revision case. Before scheduling, I…read moreexplained that we live in San Diego and asked whether the consultation could be done virtually. I was told that I needed to be evaluated in person. I also explained that I already had a CT scan and an assessment from another revision surgeon that I wanted reviewed, but was told the imaging would not be reviewed beforehand. I was reassured that patients travel from all over to see Dr. Most, so I believed making the trip would be worthwhile. We spent a significant amount of time, money, and energy traveling to San Francisco and also paid several hundred dollars for the consultation. Unfortunately, I left feeling extremely disappointed. In my experience, the examination felt very brief. Dr. Most examined my nose in person, but I did not feel that my functional concerns or existing imaging were meaningfully evaluated. I repeatedly explained the severity of my breathing problems and offered to provide my CT scan, but he did not appear interested in reviewing it because his own examination did not reveal a significant problem that he believed he could address. What made this particularly confusing was that before this appointment, another highly experienced revision surgeon, Dr. Robotti, had reviewed my CT and given me a detailed assessment. He wrote that the imaging demonstrated an external nasal valve issue, predominantly on the left, along with septal deviation, enlarged turbinates, and recurvature of the lower lateral cartilage obstructing the nasal valve, particularly on the left. He characterized what I was seeking as primarily functional rather than cosmetic. I understand and respect that different surgeons can reach different conclusions and that a surgeon has every right to decide that a patient or procedure is not a good fit. My disappointment is with the consultation experience itself. After explaining beforehand that I had significant functional symptoms, existing imaging, and another specialist's assessment--and then being told I needed to travel to San Francisco for an in-person evaluation--I expected those materials and concerns to receive a more thorough evaluation before being told there was essentially nothing he wanted to address. I wish I had understood beforehand that the CT and prior assessment were unlikely to play a meaningful role in the consultation. Had I known that, I could have made a more informed decision about whether it made sense to spend the time and money traveling from San Diego for the appointment.

I spoke with five different surgeons in the Bay Area and she really stood out for her professionalism. More so than any other surgeon, my consult with her felt like a medical appointment as opposed to a sales pitch. She went into my medical history and went to great lengths to understand the results I wanted to achieve, especially as a smaller person trying not to go too big. She was honest, patient, and highly informed and willing to go into great detail about the procedure, which I really appreciated. Jolie (the practice manager) was also fantastic for laying out all of the details of the surgery and making sure it went smoothly. I trusted her enough to try a new implant (Motiva) that she hadn't worked with previously and do not regret my decision at all. The surgery itself went very smoothly and I had a surprisingly quick recovery (2 days of bedrest for 215-230cc implants under the muscle). Dr. Weintraub and Jolie were very responsive with the questions I had about aftercare. Three months post-surgery, I'm incredibly happy with the results and keep getting great feedback about how natural they look and feel! 10/10 would recommend this practice and working with Dr. Weintraub especially. Note: A lot of plastic surgeons will go to great lengths to market themselves, taking out advertisements and promoting their business so it's at the top of search results. I heard about Dr. Weintraub from a friend-of-a-friend and was way more impressed with her than all of the top-billed surgeons I consulted with. Even though I was nervous, he and his amazing anesthesiologist were always confident and have had several years of surgery experience. My recovery was strong- no pain or nausea, a couple of days of minor bleeding, managed with just mild medication. I also managed to sleep. And Dr. Mehta's post - op support has been incredible. He truly cares about his patients and has made a positive difference in my quality of life. I sleep better, and can exercise more. And I noticed better cardiovascular function aswell. The idea is that you get procedures for cheaper from a trainee, while overseen by a full doctor. They hold surgeries on Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday mornings and cover injectables and operations. Botox is $10 a unit, fillers are $370 per syringe. Prices for surgeries vary, but liposuction of the abdomen would be $1250, plus the OR and anaesthetist fee, so totalling around $3-$4000. It's not *that* much cheaper than going somewhere else, but you do get the comfort of knowing you're with Stanford docs. To learn more, call 650.498.9868 for more info.
