Scott missed several things on the outside and inside of the house that cost me way more than the $505.00 I paid him. His excuse for not seeing missing soffit and siding was, "If I can't see it from walking your property I'm not responsible." My house was advertised with 200 amp service, but it was not. Only the electrical box was for 200 amp service, he missed that little detail. There were other areas that he missed, but I won't get too detailed. I paid him to help be my defense on the most important purchase of my life and he failed. He pretty much just walked around with an electrical outlet tester and gave the rooms a once over. I know they can't see through the walls, but I felt that his inspection was a rush job and he definitely missed some details that I feel someone in his profession should notice and give you a heads up on. Your money is better spent on a home inspector that will leave no stone unturned. If I had to do it all over again I'd rather have an overly detailed inspector who takes their time, educates the buyer with the knowledge they've learned in their experience and gives them piece of mind for the kind of money their about to spend!

Where possible he would provide us with what actions would need to be taken to remedy the issue. We were looking at a home with a septic and well system and required coordination with multiple different companies and inspectors. Matt actually took care of coordinating all of that for us. He reached out to the different inspectors and arranged it that all the different types of inspections could be done all on the same day and time. It saved us a lot of time and headache trying to coordinate it all. I would highly recommend Matt and would definitely use again.

I thought he ran through it pretty quick but chalked that up to that fact that he had done the previous inspection 4 years earlier. As it turns out I think he only rechecked the previous inspection and, probably was afraid to bring up anything that might have been there 4 years earlier and he missed then. We have electrical outlets that don't work, lights that don't work, drain plugs that don't work. the garbage disposal is hooked up in a dangerous manner, there is a huge tree over the point where the electrical enters the house which we have to remove because it's causing a dangerous situation. the radon test was done on the portion of the house that is over a slab and not in the basement. there are just so many little things that should have been caught in a normal inspection. the money was wasted, realtors need to think hard before recommending NPI and banks shouldn't accept the results.

We had the opportunity to work with Chris in our property. The entire process was seamless, from booking an appointment, the invoice, and the day-of procedure. Chris arrived early to capture the exterior documentation (i.e., front/back entrances, roof, facade) and greeted my partner and I with warmth and good humor. We examined each part of our future home, and Chris was very helpful with answering our questions and sharing context when weren't familiar with certain issues. It's clear he was knowledgeable and reassured us that we would be in good hands on closing day. After the inspection, you receive an in-depth report with assessments on the areas of improvement, concerns, and general status reports. I think he did a great job "looking for trouble," keeping us notified of how to be proactive should any maintenance is needed. Eagle Inspections was great to work with, and should definitely be considered in any home-buying process.

As a first time home buyer, we had A LOT of questions/concerns in evaluating our home. Before we even stepped foot onto the property with John Moses, he acknowledged our concerns and made them a priority to investigate. John was extremely knowledgeable during the inspection overall and took time to address our areas of concern including some electrical, HVAC and structural/settling hazards. The written report providing the concluding results of the inspection was received much faster than I anticipated and was more thorough than I could have ever imagined. The report was so straightforward that it helped us negotiate a credit that was significantly higher than what the seller originally wanted to give. I would absolutely recommend High Point Home Inspection not only to fellow first time home buyers, but to ANYONE who requires a home inspection.

John gave us a competitive estimate in mid-2022 to renovate a hallway and half bath - a project delayed by budgets and the pandemic for about 4+ years. We set a start date of early January 2023 and John began his work. We found John and his colleague to be extremely professional, prompt and thoughtful in their work. What's more - John asked questions and verified details with us as he went. There was no assuming what we might want, and he offered helpful ideas and recommendations. Working in a fairly tight space, John and his colleague were respectful of the fact that I work from home and, although construction noise is unavoidable when tearing down walls and what have you, they were not intrusive or blasting loud music as they worked. I sincerely appreciated their professional manner and dress because my mother lives with us and I am keenly aware of how strangers in the house might make her feel uncomfortable. They were so polite and respectful of her and my family. That cannot be said of all contractors. Now, the work quality: I'd rate it excellent or better. John took great care to ensure the quality of the work and materials would meet or exceed our expectations. He even found a better solution for some cabinets for us that matched the style we wanted without impacting the budget. The drywall work was excellent. He managed to match and/or mirror some intricate moldings to exactly what we hoped for. John also stayed late once or twice because he wanted to make sure the quality of the work was also up to his high standards. Prior to hiring John, we had another company work on a basement renovation. The comparison was like night and day. The company handling the basement took too long, cost too much and the quality of both the work and the workers was not good. Brady Property Services was a study in contrasts with John's work completed in a timely manner, staying within a reasonable budget and producing outstanding quality in the work itself. We have more projects to complete, and John will now be our first call for all of them. I highly recommend him.
