Terrible experience from start to finish. I had two techs come to service my PTAC units. One did a…read moregreat job, the other didn't even bother cleaning the filters in my master bedroom. Immediately after the service, my 4-year-old PTAC started making noise and the thermostat stopped working properly. I called them back, and they sent a tech who insisted nothing was wrong--clearly to avoid holding the first tech accountable. I then hired another company, who found a leak and confirmed the unit was losing freon. When I confronted YuHan, she claimed it was "impossible" their first technician caused the problem and that their company "never makes mistakes." That's hard to believe when they couldn't even clean a filter. She asked me to send pictures and receipts, but it's pointless--she'll just deny responsibility no matter the evidence. She basically said I am lying. I attached a picture, this was AFTER the "cleaning". You can see the line thats leaking. The rep went as far as saying I am taking pictures of a third unit they never serviced, as if I am trying to scam them for a machine that wasn't working. Its ridiculous There are far better companies out there, and I can recommend a few. My advice: stay far away from these guys.

They also left no mess and made sure to put things back in its place after they were finished. Once they were finished, their boss came to inspect their work to make sure everything was done correctly.

We were having trouble turning on our heat and were told by one company that we needed an entire…read morenew heating system. We called Jim Moscone, and in less than 30 minutes everything was fixed! The guys that came to our house were knowledgeable and so courteous. If this weren't enough for me to already switch plumbers, which now I'm a Jim Moscone fan, they came last minute the day before Thanksgiving to replace a kitchen faucet and fix a leak under the sink. I'm so thankful to have found this local gem of a company.

Jim's office gave me a time and Jim himself came by and spent a lot of time checking the system and advising us on how we should take care of our system. His guys then winterized. Recently our landscapers mistakenly switched the water in the winterized pipes on.. Jim himself came out immediately on a Saturday to make sure it was nothing serious that could damage the pipes. I was trying to get a service call out on the AC they installed in 2016, and 5 days later and 3 leaving messages later, they have not had a technician contact me. What is the point of being in a Service industry if your first line of service - communication - is so atrocious? I remember when Brett told me that it's hard to get back to customers in time because he had no receptionist back then and I had given you every benefit of the doubt. Now with an 800 number, multiple technicians, and a receptionist(s), what is the excuse now? And what is the point of receptionist if all they do is to tell me that "they left a message with the technicians, there's nothing more they can do"? I called last Saturday and spoke to a young lady who told me (when I asked her to look up my information) that she "has no access to any information (due to working from a different location a la COVID-19) and that all she can do is to leave a message with one of the technicians" Okay, understandable as long as someone calls back, I thought. Then on Monday an older lady did call back saying they got someone nearby and are trying to work something out so I happily told her to have the guy call me first so I can arrange with the tenant. No calls. I called again on Tuesday and Briana picked up (I think the same lady from Saturday) and I told her my frustration. She just said she can leave a message with them again. There was no apology, no 'Oh I see you called last week, we'll make sure to get back to you this time', no follow up, nothing. And of course, I didn't hear a squeak back from them. So now it's Thursday and I feel foolish for having tried to give Paramus Plumbing a chance to repair their own job. I understand it's AC season and everyone might be busy running around. But what is the point of voicemails and receptionists if you simply cannot be reached or even bother calling back if you're too busy? If they're busy with "big commercial jobs" like Brett told me about back then, then perhaps switch strategy and exit the residential business altogether. If they're still in it, they need to do better and call customers back whether they can or can't do the job. It's basic decency they can afford their customers. They do a good job though not without errors, but be prepared for atrocious communication if you choose Paramus plumbing & mechanical. I went with someone else who was so much more responsive and guess I'll see how good Brett's work was.

We would also appreciate if the tech would handle payment instead of having to deal with more phone calls (at the same instant the tech walks away from your door) to make payment. I specified the model number, BTUs, and the fact that it was an upper window installation. I had the person on the phone double check to make sure they do actually repair large units installed in upper windows. The person on the phone assured me they do. I was told I could have an appointment 8-11am today with Jorge, and got a text confirming that. I texted back requesting that Jorge call me in advance if he thinks my window AC unlikely to be repairable. I got no response so I assumed the text chain was unmonitored. I rearranged my day, got up before 8am, and waited. At 11:15am, no one had come, so I called. The person on the phone was very apologetic and said someone would call me back immediately to let me know when the tech would arrive. I rearranged appointments for the afternoon. No call. I rearranged more of my appointments for the afternoon. I called again at 1:30pm: same apology and promise. No call. I rearranged more of my appointments for the afternoon. I called again at 3pm: same apology, same promise. In desperation, I told them I was about to write a bad Yelp review. That's clearly the ONLY thing that made them bother to respond to me because, finally, at 3:15pm, Brenda texted me on the same text chain (so the text WAS monitored after all): "I am sorry for window AC we usually replace them do not perform repair." What??? They had confirmed that they DO perform such repairs. And even if the phone person had been mistaken, they KNEW they had made an appointment with me 8-11am. But no one had bothered to contact me to tell me anything! They knew I was calling again and again begging for a response. No one WOULD have contacted me had I not finally told them I was about to write a review. They are obviously totally unprofessional and don't care how much disruption and waste of time they cause their clients.
